Fantastic burger. I tried The Works for the first time and I loved the burger. I got the sautéed mushroom & onion burger (forgot the name). It was extremely delicious! I would definitely come here again.

We went out of our way to check this place out! It was really worth it!! Burgers are fully loaded and juicy! The place was spotless and recently renovated. Alex was very friendly, she explained everything to us and helped us make the best menu choices. Highly recommended!!!

I enjoyed a take out "Juicy Lucy" last night and have dined in on a few occasions. My meal was excellent! The girl who took my order was lovely as I explained I had just moved in down the street and hadn't eaten all day. Today I took a stroll down and got a beautiful thick chocolate milk shake to go. Amazing food, fast friendly service what more can you ask for?

Great hamburgers, fries and onion rings. Menus (yes I did say MENUS with an S) could be more user friendly... More isn't always better. Wait staff should help newbies navigate through them. Also, if I ask a waitress if they have a certain beer, I just want a straight answer... What I got was: "We have what's on the menu". Training, training, training. When all is said and done, the experience was pleasurable but still at just shy of $100 for my wife and i, not sure if we will be repeat customers.

We ordered a Malibu Meltdown with an Impossible Burger on a white bun with extra Beechhouse Sauce. They took the request for extra Beechhouse Sauce very seriously! Hahaha! And thank goodness they did because it's amazing! The side we chose was Spicy Die-Cut Chips. They were perfectly crispy and delicious! If you've ever had Cactus Cut Fries from Boston Pizza, you know how amazing they are! The Crispy Dills are the best we've ever had! They batter is incredibly flavourful and crispy...and it's also the perfect amount of batter. Not too much, and not too little! We ordered W Sauce, Beechwood, Buttermilk Rach, and Chipotle. Our top 2 were Beechwood and Ranch; although, they're all amazing! The 16oz. Classic Shake we ordered was double chocolate and DANG was it good! If you like the chocolate shake from McDonald's, you're gonna extra love this!!! The patio was the best spot to devour all this yumminess! 10 out of 10!

A great place for burgers. I ordered the taste of heaven and the arugula completed the burger. A big explosion of flavours. To end my meal, I had to seal the cracks with a 2001 shake odyssey. A must have for a nightcap.

Staff are excellent here and the manager is always around to make guests feel welcome and taken care of. Going the the Works, St. Catharines location, you know you are going to get good food no matter what. The burgers are always excellent, great appetizer options and their sweet potato fries are to die for! Its never a hit or miss in my experience, I've been quite a few times and always had a great experience. I would recommend the blue cheese burger and pickle spears, with a glass on Wayne Gretzky Cream on the rocks! The staff do an excellent job, best of all they seem pleased to work here, which is a good sign.

Always a great place to go. Great atmosphere, friendly and courteous staff. If an error or issue arises they are quick and understanding to correct it. Food is amazing and never has let me down. One of my favourite locations and a great alternative to burgers without the fast food component.

Just ordered from The Works for 1st time. We had the Chicken Fight Club & The Man Cave, both with 'Weeds' side salad. Both were great! Yummy, fresh toppings, also topped with actual properly cooked, more meat then fat, wide bacon strips & good portion of salad. First thing I noticed when picking up order....The weight of the bag! We usually order from Boston pizza, similar items, similar price; however the servings are heavier at The Works; therefore more for your $! Full tummy, no sickie feeling you get from garbage food. My favorite thing about the takeout part of the order was the containers...made with paper!!! goes right in the green-bin when empty! Great experience, will def order again soon :)

The burgers are great:) the meat was nice and juicy toppings were delicious. My burger had their BBQ sauce on it, while it wasn't mind blowing, it was really good. The fries are fresh cut and very crispy which I loved. Their gravy was good, again not mind blowing but very good. The overall food experience was above average. The waitress we had was attentive and accommodating. I have no complaints. She was lovely. The restaurant itself was comfortable and the location is def easily accessible. Had a pleasant meal over all.

Excellent burgers! I have a dairy allergy and they were so helpful to find something for me to eat. Absolutely delicious and I would definitely go back again. The workers were very friendly as well.

Our FIVE STAR server Tasha was excellent!!! Califlower, burger and fried chicken were great too. Fries and sweet potato fries were cold. The big disappointment was when we paid the $50 gift card received from my wife in January 2020 that couldn't be used for 2.5 years due to COVID turned out to be worth $6.61. Disappointing!!!

Very good value, especially if you get a combo from the lunch menu. I particularly recommend the smoky mountain burger which has bacon, bbq sauce and Monterey jack cheese. This comes with unlimited soda and unlimited fries as well. Plenty of decent to great food for a great value here and the employees are very friendly as well.

We had a very enjoyable evening. The food was great - unfortunately, they no longer have the portabello mushroom as a burger patty substitute. I am a huge fan of the wrecking balls and love the roasted bacon garlic aioli. Our awesome waiter - Dane - played along with all of my grandsons antics. Shout out also to the other waiter and waitress that were working tonight. They all made us feel very welcome. I think my granddaughter enjoyed her first time at The Works St. Catharines.

The staff is friendly, they always have nice music bumping. And the the burgers are perfect. They stick only to burgers and do a fantastic job. The burgers are perfectly cooked and seasoned. I have enjoyed every visit here.

i took my boyfriend here for a late birthday lunch and used his birthday promo. we ordered the “taste of heavens” and the “born to brie good”, both with pickles and a side of fries. we also got the birthday cake and cookie dough milkshake. food was 10/10, and so was our server julie (: she’s very polite and outgoing, and has charming humour. will be going back, a+ experience. The service was top notch. The manager was up front and honest with us about possible delays but assured us it wasn't going to be too long for anything. My only concern was that we asked for ketchup and vinegar and didn't get them until midway through our meal. Still enjoyed it and had a good time

While visiting my friend we decided to drop in to get a quick lunch and it was fantastic! Our host(I wish I remembered her name) was awesome, great vibe, wonderful burgers and drinks. Very spacious and clean for a dive joint.

Popped in for lunch on Monday August 8 2022. Quick service, no unnecessary delays as we were crunched for time. I ordered a lunch special, the Smokey Mountain burger, with a side of sweet potato fries. M'eh, burger was good, bacon was thin, and sweet potato fries were lacking compared to my colleague who ordered regular fries with his burger ~ just my observation. Better than the fast food burger chain options for their same 'combo' price, but in my mind I had a big, fresh (homemade) grease dripping, thick a$$ bacon loaded burger on my mind, and this plate failed to deliver. I will be back, and still would recommend, however...this burger special did not stack up to my expectations.

The food was good but if I can make a suggestion. We ordered 4 shakes, they were good but very big. We did not realize until they came that we could have ordered smaller ones. The server should have asked us that before. No option was presented. So for four large shakes that we did not want we could not finish our food and had to take much of our food home again because the shakes filled us up. I thought it was a little pricy as well for four burgers and four shakes. Next time I would train your staff to ask more questions and slow it down a little. One more thing, one burger the bacon was cooked really well, the other was not cooked very well.

The best burger I have tried so far! I tried the one with blue cheese called Blues burger and chose the patty filled with cheese. A very cheesy burger I can say, and so delicious! Still sitting in the restaurant with a big smile on my face 😄 My son loved his kids menu too and my wife tried the Juicy Lucy. Everything is delicious and the prices are reasonable! The service is very fast and the staff are awesome! If you "need" burger, this is the place. I'd love to share some photos, but couldn't stop myself and finished it all 😂

Friendly staff, clean environment. Burgers are cooked *just* right — not overcooked & rubbery, and not raw. Their fries are delicious as well. Only complaint was that the serving size was generous enough that we didn’t have room for dessert 🍨 😂 Next time we’ll start with dessert first!! Cheers!

Went to this location for the first time tonight. We were surprisingly disappointed. Servers seemed to be distracted and took a while to check in even though our section only had one other table occupied. Food was not up to quality compared to experiences at other Works locations, bacon was way too over cooked and so was the beef. Only half of the rest of my meal was put into a takeout container (did they just throw the rest out? I wouldn’t have asked for a take out container if I just wanted to throw the food out) which is frustrating when you’re paying just under $100 for 2 people to eat. Might give this location one more try but it was quite disappointing. I understand stuff happens, but that just seemed like a lack of customer service all around. Thanks!

Sure, ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich. It came out with at least half a salad dressing bottle worth of blue cheese on it if not a full bottle. I had to use a spoon to attempt to scoop it off.(and I like blue cheese) No buffalo sauce, notified the server their solution was to bring me more buffalo sauce to drown out the blue cheese sauce.... Then never came back till we wanted the bill. We left and went to merchant ale house instead. My wife's burger was good.

We were at this restaurant celebrating my grandson's First Holy Communion (he loves burgers). We cannot say enough about how good this place is. First of all the service we received was superb. We went for lunch and most of us had the lunch time menu. So very reasonable for the food you get and drink is included (not a small drink either). So many variety of burgers to choose from and they were delicious. We ordered an order of onion rings. My 92 year old mother couldn't get enough of them. They were so good. Definitely would eat here again.

My husband, son , service dog and I had a wonderful time at the Works on remembrance day. The staff and owner were extremely welcoming and helpful. What I appreciated the most was how respectful they were in regards to service dog laws and respecting the space my service dog needed to work and help me as handler. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Burgers were good, spicy cut and sweet potato fries were also really good. However the regular fries were not cooked properly and were soggy.

The Blues Burger is a favourite. Make sure you get pickles to help cut through the deliciously rich blue cheese.

Thanks for a good experience. I haven't been for a while, so it was nice to try again. I had the "Man Cave" burger and it was good. Everyone I dined with had a different burger and all was enjoyed. Service was good speed, server warmed up in friendliness as our time went on and she was attentive enough. Too bad that onion rings seem to be the latest item of shortage these days, they were missed.

Really good food, cooked to perfection. The staff was all super friendly, my server Sofia did a phenomenal job throughout the entire night, she really went out of her way to make sure our table had all we needed, she even refilled my drink without having ask! I would recommend the works for great food and service!

I recently had a deeply unsettling experience at The Works, and it is with a heavy heart that I share my thoughts on what transpired during my visit. My boyfriend and I decided to dine at this establishment, excited to enjoy a meal together last night (November 23, 2023) at around 4 pm. Unfortunately, the evening took a sour turn due to the discriminatory treatment I faced. From the moment we walked in, I sensed an uncomfortable shift in the atmosphere. The staff's demeanor towards me, a person of color, was markedly different from their treatment of my white boyfriend. It became apparent when our server, who was prompt in filling my boyfriend's water glass, seemed to conveniently overlook mine. Initially, I brushed it off, thinking it might be an oversight. However, as the evening progressed, the pattern of differential treatment became increasingly evident. What struck me the most was the overt hostility and indifference I encountered throughout the meal. While my boyfriend received polite and attentive service, my requests were met with dismissive glances and delayed responses. It was disheartening to witness such blatant discrimination in a supposedly inclusive and welcoming establishment. As a customer, I believe that everyone should be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their race or background. Sadly, this was not the case at The Works. The discriminatory behavior I experienced left a lasting impression on what should have been a pleasant dining experience. I sincerely hope that The Works takes this review as an opportunity for introspection and reevaluation of their staff training and customer service practices. No one should have to endure such treatment based on their race, and I trust that steps will be taken to ensure a more inclusive and welcoming environment for all patrons in the future.
