I used to be a regular at this bar but not anymore. My sister and I were here recently and the service was terrible. We were seated outside and no one acknowlegded us, however, we could see staff watching us. When a server finally came to get our order we were talking and laughing. The server who approached the table snapped "what is your drink order". Before we had both finished our orders, we were asked how much we had to drink. We informed the server we hadn't been drinking. The server scoffed and asked us to leave. So we went somewhere else where we've never had a bad experience.

I had an amazing time here! The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly and welcoming, making the experience a memorable one. I'd recommend Jo Blo's to anyone looking to spend a night out with friends or family!

I don’t usually write bad reviews but I ordered take out today. I went to pick up my food none of the bartenders/ servers were wearing their masks . Best part was when the server was bringing my food from the kitchen I saw her hold the take out boxes stacked really high that she needed her chin to hold it! Talk about being sanitary and professional. Thanks but no thanks I could imagine how clean there kitchen is!

I've been wanting to try this place for a long time, because I've heard a lot of great things and the photos of the menu look delicious. I was sadly disappointed with the majority of the meal :( The fries were VERY stale tasting, which made me really sad because fries are usually my favourite part of any meal. I didn't even end up eating them all because they were too difficult to chew. The gravy, however, was very yummy. The cauliflower bites were quite soggy, but the flavour was decent. I had the bacon and cheese burger - the top bun was somewhat stale tasting and the bottom bun was extremely soggy. The meat itself was very good though, definitely did not taste like a frozen patty which was great! The best part of the meal was the funnel cake fries - zero complaints there. They definitely exceeded expectations. I'm not writing this place off just yet. I see the good reviews - I'm hoping I just had some bad luck last night and next time will be better!

Wings were great. It was my second time there. As I was walking out, the bartender, the younger one, , cute, practically tackled me and said " did you pay your bill !! ? " . Well if she would've been behind the bar she would've known I paid my bill. There were 1 or 2 other bartender/ waitresses there too. I can't wait around for her to show up . I don't know where she disappeared to but she was gone for at least 10 minutes so the other bartender took care of me. I'm older and certainly don't look like an " dine & dash " candidate. Take my word for it. It certainly ruined my experience there. Considering I was sitting right there at the bar, the service was horrible . Train your bartenders to move their head and check out if people need drinks . If it wasn't for the fantastic wings, I'd give 1 star. Maybe 0.

Great place for drinks and food after a hockey game or for just hanging out with friends. The waitress staff here is top notch and super friendly. The establishment is clean and well lit. Good location next to the hockey arena. Food here is surprising very good for a bar. Our group actually come here for both the food and reasonably priced drinks.

I visited there for the first time and it was amazing. Food was delicious and alot. Min was just the best host, it's like she knew what you wanted even before you order. It was an amazing first dinner experience at Jo Blo's Bar and Grill. Definitely will be going again

First time here 2 beers 1 shot. Had to chase the juvenile bartender just for a refill. If she had the respect to say thanx and at least attempt to return my change. She would have doubled her tip. None of which happened. I will not be returning. The bar however was a clean decent spot. Which also has respectful employees. Hence the 3 star review A recent conversation with the management Showed me they care about customer service. Thank you. .

Excellent quality of food; wasn’t expecting such high and large portion during our current issue with high cost factors with everything. The wings are extremely fresh and delicious! I definitely recommend their rustic rose pasta and the spicy parm chicken wings!!! Also their homemade potato soup! Wow…..service was excellent! Definitely recommend.

Tonight was the worse bar/restaurant experience ever! My friend and I discovered this gem 4 weeks ago. We go up every Sunday for a Caesar and appetizers. Both and all is incredible. Caesars are the best! Tonight because of the bar maid, we will not return. I gave her as much respect as she provided us. Zero. Why do people like this even work in the service industry? She was disgusting to me and my friend, as well too other patrons and staff! Turned me off enough to cancel the other 4 fantastic visits. I would hate to drive from Hamilton only to be greeted by this bar maid.

Had my husband's birthday at this location. They accomdated a large party with our own sepearte space- had a ton of fun playing pool and darts. Staff was incredible, food was delicious. Highly recommend the loaded nachos, coconut shrimp & spin dip. We will be back !!!

Big thank you to Min and her team, had a end of year Nascar party there and she accommodated us perfectly for the afternoon. Great specials, cold beer and awesome atmosphere! Min and her team are always so friendly. Got real busy while we were there, and to see how her and the other bartender kept up, and how organized they were, it was impressive to see! Attended a birthday party that was reserved in the back room. Good atmosphere with a pool table in the back corner, friendly staff and enough tv's around to watch your favorite sport. Managed to slip into the back parking lot but it is very tight getting in and out.

Food is bland and tasteless, very rude on the phone unable to handle orders through std that were missing items or just wrong. Save your money , overpriced small portions.

Was there recently for their 99¢ wings. Nice size and delicious. They do wings proper! Highly recommend them. Staff is great. Excellent service. My only complaint is I only ever see older people eating there. I am 41 years old and am always the youngest person eating there. Not a problem but it makes for an odd atmosphere. Food and service are great though!

Awesome service from the bartender Paula! Very attentive, and kind every time we have went! Drinks are always cold! OWNERS PLEASE READ: It hurts my soul to see that beautiful fish in the front of the restaurant in such terrible shape. It is far too big for that tank. Please please please get a bigger tank or surrender to someone who can properly take care of it. I work in animal care and would be more than happy to help. Hard to visit and see that beauty suffering.

Ive been coming to Jos on and off since it opened. Ive tried different burgers and sandwiches, pizza. Always nice cold beer, a good place to sit down for a drink and something to eat. One thing really bugged me though; I ordered 1lb of wings yesterday and it was $18.00......That is ABSURD! For 8-10 wings, which is pretty much a snack. They werent especially huge or anything, ok size. For a small sports bar that is a majorly expensive price for bar staple like wings. Should have an option to not get dip, carrots and celery and shave off 2 bucks or something. I asked how much 3 lbs was cus i knew 1lb wasnt enough and it was $45!!!!! Half of $100 for say 30 wings. Thats like 1.60 a wing. I ended up just getting 1lb. You can get 3lbs of much bigger wings at $36 at similar places, just sucks because Jos is within walking distance and thats a good thing when you want a drink and dinner lol. I know there is a wing night, but i wanted to do pick up. Anyways, Jos is a good atmosphere, good food, but just had a problem with how much the wings were considering they arent anything out of the ordinary and cant even feed 1 person almost like a $20 appetizer. Also, i wish the website had the actual menu on it instead of QR code. Why not just make it easy to scroll through menu instead of this QR stufff.

Came by Monday night for the first time based on some recommendations from friends, was surprised to find out it was tapas night! Great price for portion got to leave full for only 20$, beer was cold, service was excellent for how busy it was with 2 staff members. Thank you Tish and Dee, I’ll be back again for tapas 😃👍

Our hockey team comes every Friday and the service and staff go above and beyond. Pizza, wings and mozza sticks seem to be our top three items. They also have a great draft deal on. Keep up the amazing service and we will of course see you Friday

This is the first time I’ve ordered from Jo Blo’s and I am happy I did. I’m a pretty fussy person and this place’s food quality and presentation (especially considering it was delivered) is impeccable. The food tasted phenomenal. The wings are probably the best I have had in St Catharines and their Bruschetta is second to none. Absolutely thrilled to come across this little gem.

The food itself is amazing which is why I give 4 stars but the lack of nutritional information has me no longer ordering food due to not being able to count calories, sodium etc. If you don't care about that though the food tastes great, you get large servings and it's worth the money. Hope eventually nutritional information is added.

This little gem of a sports bar provides amazing service to everyone who walks through their doors not just the teams that come in after their games. The owner Ming and her Front of the House staff make sure everyone feels welcome and is taken care of. The pizza rivals any pizza spot in the area in terms of sports bar pizza and the variety of wing flavours makes it easy to cater to a basic wing person or an adventurous one. I’m sure the other items on the menu are just as good but for this particular person and team the service goes above and beyond and it’s noticeable because they care. A huge thank you from the Gryphons. It is a spot that is highly recommended for anybody, family, or sports team

The owner and staff are amazing!!! We had my sons birthday dinner there with most of his hockey team. The food was amazing and the service was unbeatable. We will 100% be going back. Also the owner herself decorated the back room for my sons party!!!

This was the venue for my sisters baby shower. Min and her staff were great helping us every step of the way and making sure everything went smoothly! I recommend having an event at this location or her other one!

Came here for lunch and had the best calamari I've had in the Niagara region! It wasn't chewy like everywhere else I order it. It was so crispy and tender and the sauce with it was amazing! The burger was only 8 dollars before I upgraded to poutine. They both tasted spectacular. My friend got a Caesar salad with crispy chicken and it was amazing. The dressing, the croutons and the chicken. Free refills on pop and iced tea was also a great deal!

Ordered a sandwich and beer for delivery on labour day. They canceled my order and my last 100 bucks was gone for 5 days. This place can burn to the ground for all I care. We ordered from Jo Blo’s tonight, noticed we were missing a part of our order when the delivery driver dropped it off. I phoned the restaurant right away to inquire about the missing item, and wow is all I have to say! They went above and beyond to get the missing item to me. We have always loved ordering from Jo Blo’s and we will definitely continue to do so! Thank you so very much to the staff, you are very much appreciated!

Good times. Friendly service but sometimes slow (they may not have enough staff so I can't fault them for that). Food is pretty good. Greasy but tasty. The building could use some updates including more seating but overall good vibes.
