Me and my friend love coming here for the food but the service is disgusting. We came here once on a Saturday and the waitress we had, Helen, immediately came to our table with a terrible attitude, me and my friend were so taken aback by how she was treating us. She asked how we wanted our eggs and we asked if it was possible to be boiled, she rolled her eyes and said I don’t know it’s so busy, the restaurant wasn’t empty but rest assured it was not overly full. This was only one example of the rudeness we experienced. We chalked it up to her possibly having a bad day but we just came back again and had her as our waitress. There was no welcome just a what do you want to drink without even stopping fully at our table. The worst part of this second experience was when I asked for the bill and she just waved her hand at me and shouted very rudely one second. She came back with the bill and I said we wanted it split, she rolled her eyes again and left. I should not feel as if I am a bother to my waitress especially when I am asking for the bare minimum. I am not one to regularly comment on service but the rudeness and lack of care from this waitress was indescribable and ruined our experience both times. I would give this place five stars for the food and -1 stars for the service we received. We watch her treat the older folk with some respect but when it came to our table she seemed annoyed from the beginning. It’s such a shame that a workers attitude completely alters an experience and unfortunately makes the company lose customers who adore the food. Be better Helen.

My boyfriend and I came here Sunday morning for breakfast and we both ended up with severe food poisoning Sunday night carrying on into Tuesday now. Called Public Health yesterday to report this and they said this wasn’t the first call they received that day about them. I would advise eating elsewhere for now as I have not been that sick in my lifetime.

Incredibly disappointing!! My BLT was almost entirely tomato & lettuce, with maybe two slices of bacon on the sandwich. There wasn't even mayo or butter on the toast... Just dry toast with a stack of tomatoes on it. I've used my finger as reference in this photo to show the absurd amount of tomato that was on this sandwich. Absolutely atrocious pricing for what I received. Flavorless, dry and frankly, the server was abrupt and harried. On top of all that, we had to wait way too long to pay and leave. The hash browns were okay. This meal was from several weeks ago during a regular service, NOT over the family day long weekend.

Our ’date night’ is Sunday breakfast. Although we roam around restaurants throughout the Niagara region, we always include Perkins in our monthly rotation. We’ve had dozens and dozens of breakfasts there over the years and have never had a bad meal. The food is delicious and the staff are excellent. I love having a carafe of coffee on the table so you never have to flag down someone when your cup is empty. Full marks to Perkins!

On our way in, a family was walking out complaining about the service they got. That’s was a big red flag for me. Rude to our family from start to finish. We don’t eat pork for religious reasons and they had only one option for us….just turkey Pattie’s and no links. Food was decent, we tipped. I won’t be coming back any time soon.

First time eating there. The waitress was very friendly and attentive! We split a breakfast as it was HUGE! She was so nice. She split it up and brought us each our own plates!! Nice touch! And they were fast with the coffee refills!

Two adults and two children enjoyed their meals. No blaring rock music so we could hear each other. Staff friendly, washroom clean, free parking.

Enjoyed a fabulous breakfast here! The double bacon Benedict was delicious, and to include pancakes was a whole lot of food for a great price. Carafe of coffee on the table is a nice touch as well!

We came here, with a friend, for breakfast the other day. Food was good, especially the pancakes, and quickly served. Prices were reasonable and the service was friendly. It's a big place, but it fills up quickly. We will return.

It's a St Catharines tradition to stop in here after a long night or for a hearty breakfast at some point. Decent food, nothing incredible, but the prices are fair and the seating is comfy. It's just a nice place to hang, not sure why.

They should really train there staff to listen to customers. When a customer says no drinks you don't bring them milk. The customer says no then they bring you a drink make you wonder if they have a speech problem. They should be more prepared to hear their customers and less to embarrass them in front of other patrons especially on mother's day 2022. Won't be returning any time soon.

Really enjoyed it! I hadn't been there in years. Waffle and fresh strawberries amazing! Loved that there was no rush to leave like the other much smaller breakfast restaurants. Great place to get caught up with friends❤️

Our server was super nice, the food came out very quickly and was cooked very well. The kids loved the pancakes we will be back.

I just had Perkins for the first time this morning! I struggled with the menu for about 20 minutes as everything on it looked SO delicious, I couldn’t decide on what I wanted for the life of me! I finally decided on the “Country Sausage Biscuit Breakfast”, an extra side of gravy, a side of hollandaise sauce and a side of kielbasa sausage! All pictured below. With the $4.49 delivery and taxes, this came to a total of $37.13. A bit on the pricier side, yes. But, when I say the food is delicious, I MEAN THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS! 🤤 I ordered my eggs over-easy, and there wasn’t ANY undercooked/runny egg whites, it arrived in no more than 35 minutes, the biscuit was so soft and delicious it literally fell apart in your plate while the edges were perfectly crispy AND I could only eat about a quarter of the food that I ordered and I am STUFFED to the point that I could use a nap lol. The ONLY minuscule complaint that I have is that the gravy was not quite “creamy” and had more of a watery consistency (as you can see in the photo, the gravy completely ran off of the sausage biscuits). It was a tiny bit bland, but the delicious taste of everything else absolutely made up for it. I think it could use some more flour to thicken it a bit, as well as more butter to help with the flavour as black pepper was really the only evident taste in the gravy. Nonetheless, 10/10, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, 100% delicious. I will definitely be back to try more of your delicious food when I am in the mood to spoil myself with an amazing, drool-worthy breakfast! This restaurant was fabulous and was accommodating with my service dog. The food was yummy. And switched out some things and we so happy! They went above and beyond! So happy we stopped here

Got take out. Food was good , service was very good. They were patient and kind , not rushing us to place our order. Food was also well packaged. Our whole family enjoyed the meal and appreciate the effort put into packing it. The only negative was the restaurant seemed cold and damp. Carpet needs to be ripped out and replaced and some good lighting for the reception area.

I had bacon & eggs marble rye toast and my favourite waffle with strawberries and whipped cream. Oh so amazing. And a coffee and a glass of orange juice. My daughter had the same except pancakes and sausage instead of bacon. It wasn't cheap but well worth it. 😂😂😂😂

Terrible service! Food was mediocre! Eggs had no flavor! I cannot stress how terrible the service was. There were 5 waitresses and only 4 tables occupied. Took 10 minutes to come to our table. Never came back to see how we were doing! Coffee very weak! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!

Perkins just has that family diner feel to it. I love places like this. Great breakfast with aweaome blueberry pancakes. The service is efficiently friendly and the prices are fair.

Friendly service. Good portion sizes. Food was pretty tasty and not at all greasy like your typical breakfast places usually are.

Breakfast was ok. Potatoes hash browns were kinda bland, the pancakes were excellent and the eggs were good and sausage was cooked well. Social distancing was in effect. Overall was a good experience but a little bit more flavor in the hash brown would have made it better.

Pricing gone up...to be expected with all thats gone on in the economy. Food and coffee good. Miss the monday-friday breakfast special. Could bring it back one day a week would be great.

We had a real nice breakfast everything was perfect. Our waitress was wonderful she was very pleasent. all the staff were nice. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Perkins is a great place. Quiet, chill and the food is good. I go for breakfast. Staff is attentive and I always have a full cup of coffee. You can't go wrong coming here, I have been dining here for the past 25 years.

Awesome! 9.5 out of 10! I had the (2) eggs benedict, which comes with pancakes and my daughter had the strawberry crepes. My serving so good and the pancakes were surprisingly perfect, accompanied with 3 syrups. My daughter loved the crepes and she was also very pleasantly surprised by the included scrambled eggs and bacon. Staff and service were very nice and attentive. Would definitely return.

My go to breakfast place any time I'm in the mood for eggs Benedict and pancakes! Kids love their menu choices too! Best pancakes I've had in St Catharines hands down.

I ordered take -out Breakfast the other day. For the Pricing you get and incredible amount of food. Although the food was great, especially those Pancakes. I was disappointed with the lack of detail on the order. Some food was not included and some food wasn't what I ordered. I was also surprised the food was going to be ready so quickly. Despite these errors ( it happens) I will definitely try it again. Good Value

Always a great time at Perkins! Service is top tier, food is great everytime, and I'm pretty sure they might make some of the best chocolate chip pancakes ever.. at least according to my picky 8 year old! Highly recommend!

Love Perkins. Always have. Been going here since high school. It's expensive, but always has been. Love the giant pot of coffee for the table. Waitress very nice.

Had brunch there last Friday with my daughter and son in law and grandchildren. It was fabulous. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. A very nice helping of everything. Thoroughly enjoyed and will be back agin. When we have out of town visitors we take them there and they love. Great service
