We stopped in on a rainy Saturday for a flight after stopping to visit the Tulip Field. A nice unplanned stop, personable and friendly staff, tasty wine🍷 😀

Very friendly staffs. We enjoy the tasting of 3 glasses of wine and a bag of popcorn for $15. Very reasonable price.

This Saturday was a great day for some wine tasting right after an extensive hike. Such a great location and even better set-up with their Muskoka chairs under the trees with a live band instrumental band. I had ordered the 3 wine flight tasting, and it was great to know that you can mix and match wines for you to try and it came with popcorn! For the price, you can't go wrong! The wines tasted sooo delicious. I chose the Cabernet-Merlot, Baco Noir (Old Vines), and the Baco Noir (Reserve), paired it with their nachos, which had a generous amount of both cheese and lobster dip. It also had a good amount of spice to it from the pepper they put in. I wouldn't mind making a long drive, just to experience this place all over again!

Great Wine, Great Atmosphere. We had our first visit on Saturday, during their All Day Rose event. My wife and I had a flight of wines and then a glass afterwards. Loved the Merry Widow Rose and the Pinot Noir, in particular. Great spot, lots of outdoor places to sit and have a drink. We didn't try the cafe for lunch, but will next time. The staff were super friendly. We will definitely return.

A beautiful winery with lots of outdoor seating. Large selection of wines and taste a group of three wines for only $15 with popcorn! The popcorn is a nice treat for the kids too. Well worth the trip!

Lovely winery to visit. Came here for a private tasting this time and the staff who helped were amazing. Great scenery with very good wines, staff, and food in the café. A favourite of mine for sure.

Friendly staff with a good variety of wine. The building and winery is quite old, which lends to its unique charm. The winery is known for its Baco Noir and I also found their Riesling to be quite good as well. Tasting comes with a nice bag of popcorn which adds to the experience. Will definitely visit again when in the area.

Just opened our 2018 Family Reserve Baco Noir . Such a rich, full bodied and amazing flavoured wine. Wow what 5 years did to that wine was incredible. Worth at least 100$ for that kind of deep bodied rich wine to be savoured … every sip just amazing .!!!

This was a nice place to enjoy wine and good weather. The outdoor seating is nice, one of the other vineyards has a tasting inside but we wanted something outside so this was perfect.

Nice little spot. Nothing pretentious about these wines or the place. Would love to come back and see the cellar someday. Including a picture of the September tasting trio, which I think is pretty solid. The Lazzara is an affordable Prosecco-style wine, perfect for these sunny, early fall afternoons. I bought two!

I had ordered a case of wine on-line and upon receiving the 12 bottles, I was surprised to see one of them had broken during it's trip to Southwestern Ontario. I contacted Henry Of Pelham and the fantastic customer service I received made me quickly forget the mishap. Days after getting in touch with the winery I received a replacement bottle and a little something extra for me troubles, free of charge and free of hassle. A BIG thank you to Candice for all your help.

I was at Henry of Pelham about two months ago with some friends from work. We were served by Keara, who gave us great suggestions for tastings as well as other wineries to try in The Bench. I always tell people when they ask about Baco Noir to try Henry of Pelham's because it is the best I've had!

Excellent host in the tasting room made our day. Everyone else was great too, not to mention the wine! :-)

We really love the wine but we were quite disappointed with the (paid) tour. Our host Karen seemed a bit confused and not very knowledgeable at all. We only saw the cellar and the old inn, nothing else. No talk about wine making process and many questions from the group were answered with “I dont know”. The tasting was also messy and confusing. But again, we love the wine but the tour really needs to be better organized.

amazing wine , the staff was lovely, took our time , made sure to understand what kind of wine would be a "hit" for us , came from Montreal and was a wonderful experience! thank you

Beautiful scenery and nice staff, however our lunch was a huge disappointment. The menu sounded great and we were exited to see that the Chef was known to us. We ordered two of the roast beef sandwiches at $14 each and two of the grilled vegetable sandwiches at $12 each. We sat at our table for some time before we realized that no one was coming over, when we inquired, we were told to order at the window of the cafe. Be warned - They have no service, no condiments, no salt and pepper, no plates or cutlery. The sandwiches were cold and obviously made days before. They were wrapped in saran wrap. One tiny cocktail napkin each was handed out. My grilled vegetable sandwich consisted of grilled onions and mushrooms, no other vegetables? Very disappointed.

Went for a wine tasting. The experience was unbelievable! Sharon was the best host you can have. 11/10 for experience, wine and tour. I’d do this again.

Cad 15 for a flight of 3 wines of your choice. Comes with salted butter popcorn. Had the Old Vines Baco Noir (evolves into blackcurrant), Gamay (herbaceous), and Reserve Pinot Noir (peppery, I think).

Spent a lovely afternoon here enjoying the wine, outdoor picnic tables and art work on display. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly during the tasting - unfortunately no food available as the cafe had closed for the day. Would highly recommend this quaint and authentic winery in Pelham.

I visited with some friends to celebrate my birthday and although we just did the walk-in tasting the experience was excellent. The staff here are warm and friendly and the service was top-notch. The property is beautiful and the wines are delicious. Loved the artwork, bright and relaxing atmosphere and the popcorn is a nice touch. We each found new favorites and left knowing that we will definitely be back.

My stop at Henry of Pelham Family Estate Winery during my cycling trip was an unforgettable experience! Not only did I find a serene oasis to rest, but I was also pleased to discover the abundance of parking space available for guests. The outdoor seating area was the perfect spot to take in the breathtaking views of the vineyards and surrounding nature. Even though I didn't try their service, the ambiance and beautiful setting alone made it worth the visit. I highly recommend this winery to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat with ample outdoor space to enjoy. A true gem in every sense!

Charming and relaxed atmosphere at Henry of Pelham. Great band 🪘🎸 performing outdoors this weekend. Lots of food options, plus wines 🍷 by the glass and tasting flights. Bonus: they even had corn hole and some other lawn games to keep you entertained.

We bought the 15 dollar wine tasting which was 3 samples of our choice with a small bag of popcorn. We sat on the covered balcony as it was spitting with rain, we could have sat inside but it wasn't cold. Lots of wines not available at the LCBO

The sun was shining bright today, so the family and I decided to do a nice little hike at Decew Falls in St Cathrines. There aren't many more days like this in Ontario! Bet. On the way there we passed by Henry of Pelham Winery so we thought why not stop there for a glass of Baco Noir on the way home. It was our first time visiting the property, but we had heard nothing but good things, and we had punished a few bottles over the years with dinner. The big bonus was when we met Eric who is the chef/owner of Wellington Court. They actually have space there on-site, and offer unreal food parings. We crushed their amazing wings, and the roast beef sandwich! Excellent flavours! Great November afternoon.

Great $10 flight sampler at a top-quality Ontario wine producer. Had a wonderful selection to choose from and a well stocked store with limited available product to buy.

We had an outstanding private tasting in the ballroom on Saturday November 21, 2020 lead by Marianna. This is the second time we had a tasting lead by Marianna. Marianna is passionate about the history of Henry of Pelham which makes the tasting so interesting and enjoyable. Henry of Pelham is our favourite Ontario VQA winery and is always one of our stops when we're in the area.

Our favorite winery in Ontario, and that’s saying something. Virtually every winery we’ve visited there is wonderful. Ambiance, friendly, cheerful, knowledgeable staff. Delicious and affordable wines. Now, if I can get some shipped to Arizona, life will be better.

(Translated by Google) Definitely worth the stop. The place is absolutely charming, the staff are welcoming, attentive and they really want to make us live a special moment, mention here to Karen. The indoor tasting place - which is located on the 2nd floor of a period residence - is calm and peaceful. You can really take the time to drink their wines. Mention also to the store is particularly beautiful.

One of several wineries that we toured on this day. A great facility for tastings and very helpful staff. They were very knowledgeable with respect to the red wines we tasted. We were directed to this winery by others to try the Baco Noir varietal wines. Recommendation for Baco Noir was spot on - we purchased several bottles. We did not purchase any of the other wines tasted, but it was a very good experience. The only negative is that one staff member did not wear a mask while walking in the facility for a very brief period of time. That was VERY disappointing given the concerted effort of every other staff member there and the staff at all of the other wineries we visited on this day, to comply with the stipulated regulations.

Happened to be in the area and this place a home to our favourite wine, the Baco Noir. Got a great history lesson, which I loved, and left with a case. Would love to come back in the nicer weather.

So lovely! Enjoyed a vinyard picnic with a fresh charcuterie on a keepsake plank, along with an ice cold bottle of reisling. The live band was also great. Kudos to my favourite winery on making a great afternoon event

***Disclaimer*** I have not tasted the wine as I have yet to receive it!!! Therefore this review is strictly about the terrible customer service. I am so disappointed in my experience with this winery. I ordered a case through a charity event for Ronald McDonald House for which a close friend of mine is on the board. I have never ordered a case of wine in my life, but thought why not? It’s for a good cause and had always heard great things about this wine. Well, it has been a nightmare from start to finish (and I still don’t have my wine for the record)! The case was to be delivered by my friend who is on the board on December 21st (I ordered this case on December 10th). My friend called me and several of my other friends who had also ordered cases to tell us we were not even on her list. My friend and I called the winery, she got through and I didn’t. Somehow our orders had fallen through the cracks completely and were never shipped. It came to light later that it was because we hadn’t entered a particular code at checkout. If we hadn’t called, we wouldn’t have gotten the wine we had paid for and the winery wouldn’t even have known... they offered to expedite our package and ensured us it would be delivered before Christmas which was important because it’s the occasion for which you would want wine! Well my friend got her delivery this morning and texted me to let me know. So I headed down to my main floor to work from there in front of my door in anticipation of the delivery since we are less than 10 mins away from each other. Wouldn’t you know that it never came! And on the delivery site it said I wasn’t home.. well I assure you I was and nobody knocked on my door or rang the bell because my Great Dane would have let me know... let alone the simple fact that I was sitting directly in front of it! So now they are telling me they will deliver it tomorrow, but I’m not willing to take that chance and will be picking it up myself at the depot. Here comes the part that frustrates me the most. I was a manager in customer service for years. The way this was handled was totally unprofessional and a complete failure at organization on the winery’s part. (Keep in mind there were several of my friends who had this same issue so I have multiple sides of this story!) 1) Once the issue with the code was discovered, why were we not proactively contacted? No attempt was made by the winery, they waited for us to call and complain. How do you completely lose prepaid orders? I take responsibility for not entering the code but the fact that there were many of us indicates that there was a lack or organization and clarity on the winery’s part as well. 2) I discovered later that this code waived the delivery fee. A delivery fee I paid for since I hadn’t entered my code. So the expedited package was at our cost anyways! No one offered to proactively reimburse the fee that we should never have been charged! No goodwill gesture was offered to make this fiasco right... that to me is the WORST part!!! So not only did I pay a delivery charge for a case of wine I still have yet to receive, but now I’m going to pick it up myself at the depot because I am not going to wait for them to say failed delivery tomorrow and not have any wine for Christmas and the holidays when everything is closed!!! So thank you Henry Pelham Winery for this awful experience. I will not be buying your wine again as you have given me literally ZERO reason to do so. Mistakes happen, but how you rectify them is what matters. And I will be certain to share my experience with anyone who will listen in addition to this review. Merry Christmas!

Good winery with good wine. Like their bottle store. Went for tasting and was not able to get much information about their wines as I would like. Another thing I found very disappointing is that they do not give you a credit (charging for your tasting) if you purchase some bottles.

We were looking for dog friendly wineries in the 20 valley region and were recommended Henry of Pelham. Of all the wineries we visited, Henry of Pelham had the best tasting wine. Their tasting flights come with popcorn. They even had a cafe on site although we didn't try the food. I really enjoyed the Back Noirs and the ice wines. They have several tables outdoors in a green space to sit and relax and enjoy your wine. Our dog was very welcome too.
