Perfect for my needs. Great breakfast at the hotel plus friendly staff. Stayed for work. Had business in Niagara but much preferred staying here. Perkins restaurant beside hotel and Montana’s a walk across the parking lot. Rooms extremely clean and well kept. Bed was comfortable, new TV, free wifi. Very pleasant. Will stay again next time I have business in the area.

Honestly one of the cleanest hotels I have been too in a while. Besides a small cosmetic crack on the AC exterior and a rusty door in the ceiling (probably to access some plumbing or wiring), it was spotless. No hair in the towels or the showers, no rusty shower head, dirty floors, no dust, nothing. I don't know if this hotel is newer, but it was definitely clean. Other hotels need to take note. Separating a small part of your budget to replacing towels/linen every quarter/6 months or replacing shower heads or toilet seats. No one wants mildew on their shower head, someone else's hair in their towels and sheets/pillows or deteriorating toilet seats. Breakfast was the same the two days I was there, the only thing that changed was the eggs went from cheese omelet to scrambled, and there were potatoes one day and not the other. However, still a full variety. Front desk attendees were all nice, and the on-duty supervisor texts you everyday to make sure there isn't anyone that can be done to improve your stay!

BEST hotel I have been to in a while! Very clean, brand new, friendly people!! Perfect pool for kids! And if you like to work out.. THIS is the hotel for you! Seriously, a FULL gym, not just a fitness center! Best.Stop. Ever!

Excellent property. I've stayed at more than a dozen Hilton branded hotels in the last 12 months and this one stood out as one of the best (a close second to the Hilton London Bankside, which is a five star hotel I must add) The staff were friendly and accommodating (a special thanks to Francis), the hotel itself is clean and well maintained and while there were quite a few annoying and rowdy guests during my stay the soundproofing was great so it did not affect my sleep. There was complementary breakfast which is standard at Hampton properties and while not as comprehensive as Hampton properties in the UK it did the job. There was always fresh coffee and hot water for tea or hot chocolate which is a nice touch. The hotel is located just off a motorway so don't expect any nice views, but it's a handy location with bars, shops and restaurants nearby. I will be happy to recommend this hotel to anyone staying in St Catharines, it truly is excellent.

Rooms were nice but upon further inspection there were hairs in the shower. It doesn't look like they cleaned it. I mentioned this during check out and was told to contact the manager which I did but I have not heard back from him. The bathroom door is a slider and cannot be locked. Not the greatest for privacy. There was spilled coffee down the side of the night stand. Pool was nice. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was one of the better included breakfasts I have had at a hotel. Good choice of eggs, real fried potato, waffles, fruit, oatmeal, cereal etc ****Edit: manager did call me back and offered me a $50 credit which I have not seen credited to my VISA yet. They also replied to this review asking me to submit my info and a review of my stay on their website. Problem was the captcha security was broken on their webpage so I could not submit my review.

Great hotel close to QEW but very quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Super clean hotel - not just the rooms. Room had a very comfortable bed and nice pillows. Nice breakfast seating area. Standard breakfast. Hot and cold options included. Tea and coffee available all day. Restaurants and some shopping nearby, within walking distance. Easy location if visiting wineries in the area.

The pool was the worst i have ever seen, the smell of bleach was horrible in that place that teared my eyes as well as the bathroom non-lock door BUT they have the best service and nicest front desk, the rooms were neat and smell was neutral. The best parking spots, breakfast, gym, wifi, and everything is family friendly! I hope that helps.

Had a great 2 night stay to watch my sons hockey games at Ridley. Front desk employees were mostly professional and respectful and the room was nice and big. Breakfast was back to normal which was great because I missed those self made waffles! The hotel is well placed with many restaurants around and not to far from the Falls. The only disappointment was that the top of the booths around the breakfast area were really dusty, made a comment to the front desk and by the end of my stay nothing was done about it. That’s why I’m not on 5 stars.

Great first time experience at this hotel. Stopped in for business reasons and found the check in process on my app so seamless, didn’t have to talk to anyone, just straight to my room. The finishes throughout were excellent and the room worked for my purposes perfectly. Nice touches include suit hanger, windows which can be opened for fresh air, and a very quiet fridge. Breakfast was simple but worked well for my purposes. Getting into the parking was confusing and the slots were too tight for my vehicle.

Our truck was robbed and hotel didnt take care of it, it was parked in front of the entrance but staff let us stay a bit longer in our room (after check out) so we could clean ourselves. Service was good, rooms are clean and its well located. Staff is very kind, a lady who was cleaning the lobby borrowed us a vacumm to clean our truck (shattered glass) and a few bags + duct tape to "fix" our window so we could go back home.

Excellent hotel and service. Gets quite busy with large groups and families. Very conveniently located if you have plans in the Niagara region. Breakfast spread was good but too busy and chaotic during the peak hour.

Had a great stay at this Hilton location. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool area was great. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel is excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel is very nice. Very clean. Very well maintained. Rooms are excellent. FINALLY a bed that is comfortable to sleep in! Pillows are NOT the new micro pillow I'm seeing in a lot of other hotels. The room, carpets, bathroom etc were very clean and in excellent condition. Continental breakfast was top notch and definitely the best I've seen. Highly recommend. My only suggestion is to get a hot tub haha! But seriously, this was a lovely stay. They allow pets which is nice and this is the first hotel I have come across that allows for a 3pm late check out for only $50. That is amazing! What a fabulous bonus! Highly recommend. ✨✨✨

Decent hotel, nice free breakfast, good pool. Rooms are a bit small. The washroom in the room has a sliding barn door almost ready to fall off. Also not much privacy the way the door is set up.

We were a group of 7 women travelling for a 2night getaway to visit the nearby Beamsville wineries. Fantastic to be able to walk from winery to winery. We appreciated the large double Queen rooms with the small fridge, very comfortable beds, lovely linens and bathroom amenities. The whole property was extremely clean. The hot breakfast had everything we needed. (One friend is Celtic and was able to enjoy breakfast as well. We were informed in advance that the bread is not gluten free. She is used to bringing her own). While we didn’t get to swim in the pool, we enjoyed gathering in the very comfortable outdoor area adjacent. We will recommend it to our friends and will be back again.

Extremely friendly staff, my room was immaculate. Complimentary breakfast was great. My second time staying at this hotel. I'd definitely recommend it.

Amazing Hotel! Everything here is very good including staff. France at the front desk was SUPER friendly and helpful, shes was very kind. Only disadvantage was that there was no microwave or safes in the room which was inconvenient and also the pool area was very closed and difficult for breathing. But, other than that our stay was AMAZING. Thank you Hampton Inn.

From the moment we walked in, the young man behind the counter and young lady were absolutely welcoming and so friendly. If I could give this hotel more stars I would!! Very clean and spacious rooms, and I'm still thinking of how great our experience was here 5 days later, which in my opinion has oblivious left an impression on my family and I. If you are thinking of staying here I 100% recommend it, between the cutest little town, to the amazing and welcoming vibe you couldn't ask for anything more!!

We recently stayed at this hotel for a local hockey tournament. It was located within a 10 minute drive to the arena. The hotel and room were very modern, clean and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating to any request we had. The breakfast area was large and the variety and quality of foods offered was impressive. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Exceeded my expectations. the hotel staff Nicke, Karen, and Liza were amazing, friendly, and helpful with suggestions for places to visit and places to eat. Housekeeping was quick and super responsive. Upon arrival the system was down, the staff apologized and offered refreshments, recognized my Hilton honors, and was just wonderful. We decided to explore and they gave us a call once the system was back up and running. After returning to check-in it was an easy and fast process. The hotel as a whole was super clean, signage on the walls was visible and easy to read. The breakfast in the morning was great, fresh and hot food. The only Hilton I have stayed at that offers MINNIE WAFFLES! Which was delicious btw. The only negative aspect was the lack of tv channel options but was easily fixed with Netflix on my laptop.

This hotel has the best gym in 50 km!!! It might be the best gym I’ve ever used! Hotel is exactly what you need from a hotel like this and the staff are super great. I left my sweater and they were lovely to work with the mail it home to me. 10/10 for a hotel chain.

Only a 15 min drive to Niagara Falls. Free Breakfast. Great pool. Clean, modern pool and hotel. Rooms were big. Only thing we did not like was the closet door was also the bathroom door, it was a sliding door and you could not lock it. Otherwise great experience. Clean and good breakfast and location.

Relatively new Hampton Inn, overall satisfied. Having just stayed at a handful of newer Hamptons, this one wasn't quite as nice as brand new properties, but it still had modern touches. The room was standard size with functional amenities. Highlight was the front desk staff, which were all very friendly and did their jobs well. Biggest complaint with this hotel is that their free breakfast ends at 10am, even on weekends. I assume this is because they want you to go to the affiliated Perkins restaurant attached to pay for it. Entrance is very confusing to get to, so make sure to use your GPS to get you to the front doors. The wall AC unit in the room never shut off, so was a bit hard to get a restful sleep with it running all night. This hotel allows the use of the fitness facility connected which is a huge gym with full amenities including outdoor workout area. Only issue there was that some of the equipment is 20+ years old (and some is brand new), and the AC in some areas is spotty. Other than that, had a ton of TVs, a lot of equipment and machines, studio and spinning rooms, and relatively quiet. Location is in a busy area of St Catharines off the highway, with many restaurants and a mall across the street including Costco. Only 15 minutes away from Niagara Falls, so if you don't mind the drive and can get this place at a good rate then it may be worth staying here if you are a Hilton loyal, as this is the only Hampton in the region. However, for the price of over $350 for a Saturday night, this property was not a good value whatsoever. Would consider staying here again if at another wedding in the area, but this property is nothing remarkable and is overpriced in my opinion. Nice amenities and staff, but otherwise not worth your money.

My friend and I took a business trip, and were very pleasantly surprised with the facilities. The prices were very reasonable. The suite was spacious, spotless, and comfortable. Every staff member we met (especially Vishni at the front desk) was amazing!! We made it to the bar for late night drinks and found a very helpful man. The breakfast that came with the upgrade voucher was delicious and we were treated just as well as all the other guests in the restaurant. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in St. Catharines in the heart of a lot of activities, or on a buisness trip.

The staff is great. The hotel is spotless and well maintained. They have the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. Second time here will def come back

Highly recommend! The hotel is clean, comfortable and safe. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The free breakfast was a great touch and was one of the better complimentary hotel meals I’ve had. Great location close to easy going and family friendly restaurant options, or just a short drive away from downtown strip with many lively restaurants and bars.

Exactly what one would expect from a Hamptons Inn - clean and well equipped rooms with a decent breakfast. It looks like there are 2 EV chargers at the back. I would have given this 5 stars if it wasn't the many flies that were hanging out at breakfast area + the fact that they closed the breakfast door promptly at 10am. (Most other Hamptons Inn will only have a "soft" breakfast end time and guests can continue to causally grab breakfast for a bit longer). Given how busy the breakfast bar was the day we stayed at (there were no place to sit), it might have been good for the hotel to extend the breakfast hours but a couple minutes so everyone can grab a bite.

Excellent hotel! Very modern and immaculate rooms! The staff at the Front Desk were outstanding, especially Gustavo and Karen. I haven't experienced that level of professionalism in a long time. The location is great, with easy access to the QEW for traveling. Aquatic classes are offered in the pool but I didn't have a chance to take advantage of that. An added bonus was the Toys R Us store located right next door. (They don't have any locations in the U.S.)

This property has been recently updated, which always helps. The location is pretty good. The breakfast was weak even for this level of hotel. It is nice they have coffee and teas available 24 hrs. It is reasonably quiet. The bed was nice, but the pillows are kind of soft and flat. The towels are scratchy.

Nice renovated hotel with a modern feel. Room felt a bit on the smaller side but was still good. Breakfast was included and was also fairly decent. Recommended!

Great place! Good location, not too far from Niagara-on-the-lake and Niagara Falls, and the Outlets. Very clean hotel with a pool. Good selection for breakfast. Has a gym attached to it which the guests can use, and it is a full size gym (also open to the public). Would definitely stay here again.

I absolutely love this hotel! The rooms are clean and newly renovated I believe. Their gym and pool are such great amenities. The gym seems a little older and worn out but its huge and they even have an outdoor basketball court and semi outdoor kickboxing area. Their breakfast is also delicious. It's a great facility that you should try!

Great hotel. Quiet location and accessible to local amenities. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and pillows. Hospitality service lacked attention to details. Was advised to come and get my own toilet paper at reception.

  • 4/5 Ivy Q. 2 years ago on Google
Beautiful place, and great breakfast... but they should have booking times for the pool. Some people want to relax or have a quiet swim. It doesn't help if there are rowdy kids (or adults) running around or splashing everywhere.

  • 5/5 Mohsin M. 2 years ago on Google
Very nice place to stay and really worth the price. The staff was really courteous and helpful. Rooms were really good and clean too. The water in the swimming pool was clean and had fun during this cold weather. Complimentary breakfast was good as usual. Great experience staying here. Will definitely recommend to other people as well.

I was very happy with my stay! This Hampton Inn is clean, quiet, and close to the highway. It has also great amenities like the swimming pool, breakfast and access to the full-size gym next door. Only 15 minutes away from Niagara Falls. Front desk was friendly. The hotel seems very new and the decor throughout the hotel is bright and modern. My only small complain would be that one of the mattresses in my double bed room was lumpy and was much softer on one side.

  • 5/5 Andrew F. 2 years ago on Google
My parents stayed here recently. They really enjoyed the stay. The room was clean and modern. The desk staff were super friendly and helpful. The only complaint might be that the "Accessible" room (my mother has trouble walking) wasn't well designed.

We stayed 2 nights for our daughter's wedding close by. Even before our stay, the group booking manager was fantastic. The hotel was very clean, staff friendly and accommodating, and the complimentary breakfast was good. We had a big group wanting to have drinks in our room, and the staff nicely asked us to move to the lobby area, which we did. The complimentary shuttle to the wedding was so appreciated. Everything was great!

A very positive experience at this Hampton Inn. It's seems newly renovated and we liked all of the choices in decor. The breakfast included is a fantastic addition and helps since I have two hungry kids. Great location and we will definitely stay here again.

This is one of the brightest Hampton Inn’s I’ve ever stayed at. The whole hotel looks as if it’s been recently renovated. It is well placed in the heart of shopping and entertainment. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in was clean, fresh and the Hilton mattress is always one I want to spend time on. We were visiting from Calgary and we’re not disappointed! Great hotel for a cost effective stay!

We had a wonderful experience at the Hampton hotel located at 89 Meadowvale Dr in St. Catharines. Every staff member I encountered, from the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help and extremely accommodating. They allowed us to check in early due to extreme cold weather. Michelle and Niki were amazing and made this experience even better. Thank you and we definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

Very clean, tidy, well decorated room and washroom. Well priced and service was friendly. Breakfast was so so, but I believe the selection has been cut back because of Covid. Would recommend a stay.

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at the Hampton Inn this past week. I stayed out of convenience but I would stay again by choice. It is impeccably clean, the staff is incredibly lovely (truly willing to make your stay as comfortable as possible) and the pool was a warm delight. The only minor complaint I have was breakfast...it was included with my stay but it wasn't great (the fruit was rotting). Regardless, I would stay again and would recommend to anyone!

Brought our youth baseball team here for a tournament and had an excellent experience for this level of hotel. The hotel is clean/modern, seems well managed -- front desk were professional and capable. They were very accommodating and helpful when we wanted to bring the team together for pizza in a common area. I would definitely choose this hotel again.

Front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious...large tv, quiet AC and refrigerator. No extraneous noise. Spacious bathroom. Plenty of room to put your things. Breakfast had many choices. Breakfast area was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend. Just one small suggestion: a tv guide so we know where the channels are.

Stayed at this hotel while spending the weekend at Niagara on the lake. Reasonable prices. We didn't have mouth wash and they gave us some. Close to Shoppers and other essentials. The gym looked amazing. The rooms were nice. Unfortunately we went during a busy weekend and they only had 2 Double beds , but it was fine. If you want room service you have to let them know at check out other wise you can't let them know in between. Breakfast was pretty good. Eggs, sausage, potatoes, bread, waffles.

For Niagara Falls visit. It is a good choice if you don’t mind the 15 min drive to Clifton bill. Overall good stay for a 4 nights. The pool was very humid and no lifeguard. Breakfast could have more choices and the one existed could have be more fresh like the bakery ones. We would have enjoyed a cappuccino if there was a machine, not everyone drinks raw black coffee. Good value for the money. Would stay again

  • 5/5 Sheresa A. 1 year ago on Google
Very clean rooms. We had 2 queens, microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker in ours. There is no guest laundry on staff. Business center has one printer and desktop. Pool is small but clean. Free Wifi is not hi-speed but is consistent. The free breakfast is very good with a large variety of choices for everyone. But the staff members are the best amenity!! Extremely kind, go out of their way, and always responsive!

  • 4/5 Alex D. 1 year ago on Google
Great for families with kids. It's a clean Hotel. The breakfast buffet is actually pretty decent. They also have a small pool which is great when it's not being used for a seniors aquafit class that nobody tells you about in the mornings. If you want to use the pool I would check with the front desk to see when it's available for swimming, I know we missed out the morning when we were checking out

Very happy with our stay. Communication was great through the app and email. We were allowed to check in a little early and a little late. The rooms were spacious and clean, and breakfast was good along with the bottomless coffee. I would stay again.

Overall hotel was amazing and met all expectations except the management of the electric car chargers. I wish we had to sign out the plugs for no more than 9hrs so that others could use them. There was a plug in hybrid using the J1772 for over 24hrs when their battery charges in under 2hrs with the speed provided. This created an inconvenience not only for myself but for other EV owners that rely solely on electricity and our vehicles taking about 8-9hrs to charge at those speeds. Only change I would recommend is making us sign out the chargers for no more than 9hrs periods at the front desk.
