Images in the website has to be changed. We were carried away by the images. They charge $20extra for rooms with Jacuzzi. But it doesn't work. Rooms smell bad. A/C did not work. When we complained about the same. No alternate solution were provided till next day. With kids it was a very bad experience. Washroom is not clean. Indian hotel mentioned in the website is closed. Won't Recommend this for family stay.

Please, just read this. I read the reviews before I go there, but I booked anyway, so now I regret staying there because the room was so dirty. I couldn't believe that this kind of hotel still exists in Canada, especially in Niagara Falls. Please, consider paying 10-20 dollars extra for a better and cleaner place. Additionally, they charged me 10 dollars just for parking, which is weird. The person at the counter, an Indian guy, was unprofessional. The breakfast was almost non-existent; it was terrible. I couldn't eat breakfast there, so I went to Tim Hortons across the street. I woke up 4-5 times during the night because I didn't feel comfortable due to the dirtiness and worrying about bedbugs. The floor mat was super dirty, so please, do not go there. even one star is extra......

Due to room shortages Saturday July 17th paid $236. Staff were extremely nice. Cigarette butt cans everywhere. Hotel needs major updating paint peeling off the wall in the bathroom. Place is extremely old. Breakfast was fine. price did not match their site prices at all. It looked like they had permanent resident's living there. Pool area was dirty. We eould not stay again Staff are most accommodating

No room service even if you ask for it,, you hear people walk and talk clearly next-doors. Stinks cigarettes dirty floor with ash and hairs everywhere . Phone room was broken, no coffee machine and no hairdryer on the room. Breakfast is less than what they offer on the menu, restaurant close after 9:00 am so no other meals available of any kind for the rest of the day. Their kitchen is very dirty. the manager closed the kitchen door quickly when customers looked up the kitchen area. Very poor isolation. they don’t respect the website price reservations they add extra charges on the final bills with no reason or explanations. If I zero was an option, it would be it.

First impression: not like the pictures online; kinda dingy. Man at front desk, housekeeping, man making (extra) waffles (in the kitchen) all friendly. No bedbugs, I looked. No other bugs either. The room: we asked for upper floor away from street, got it. First impression again dingy, stains on counter and tub ledge, marks on walls and door frames. A coat of paint on door frames would go a LONG way to looking better. Fresh laminate counter even longer!! Looking past the dingy it was clean. Fresh white sheets, shower, toilet, sink all very clean. Stall shower and shower head looked newer, good water pressure. My side of king bed was firm, boyfriend's not so much. 5-10 minute drive to falls, good. Most fast food spots 2-3 minutes toward falls. Bar across street was recommended for being open late. Great food!!

Relatively good experience. However, the jacuzzi could have been cleaner. We ordered a playpen for the baby which we got but there was no mattress, when we asked for one they said they could not find it, but they were very helpful by getting us extra pillows and blankets to use instead. Also, the bathroom light wouldn't turn on without banging it. Breakfast was really good with a large selection of food. However they wouldn't let some of my party in that came a few minutes late even though people were still eating there. Overall Dingy but doable.

Not for families! Is smelly, dirty, and so bad that we needed to pack and leave with losses and pay another hotel. 👉🏻 But one good thing is that thes staff is very cooperative friendly they really try to accommodate us till their possibilities, I want to start appreciating that because it was the only good think from this hotel. The costumers are smoking all kind of things everywhere, this place is not for families, just stay away if you have kids, or allergies or if you appreciate peace and goodness. The rooms are extremely dirty and stinky! They hide the nasty smells by throwing some aromas that banish after a few hours and then the reality appear. It was so bad that it triggered every allergy to the extent that I need to leave the hotel carrying my losses and pay another one, it was bad! Rooms are smoked and the dog stench is present all over the room, the bed the walls, carpets and everything. The staff offered another 2 rooms that was same dirty, smoky and stinky I couldn't stay. The carpets are stained and disgusting. Non carpeted rooms are also dirty, smoky & stinky. Parking is $10 dollar extra. As many other cheap hotels around they have in the amenities mention a pool that serve the only purpose to put one extra star in their bad quality hotel, but they have just a hole in the ground without water. All the experience was bad, sorry.

I would rather forfeit the $80 it cost to rent the room than stay there. The pictures of the outside are clearly from many years ago. The building is very run-down, and the pictures of the rooms are actually from a different hotel altogether. The view out of the windows do not match up with what is actually outside in the pictures. Sleeping in your car is a safer, cleaner and quieter alternative. I felt unsafe calling to cancel my room from my car in the parking lot. If you like smoking and bed bugs, this is the place for you!

Dont stay here !!! INFESTED WITH ROACHES!! i killed about 4 before requesting a room change. Allergic to dust as well and i literally could not breathe so goes to show you how dirty these rooms are. Dont get me started with blood dirt or fieces stains on my bedding . My Dog sprayed p*op on the wall and i left it because of how bad my stay was. lots of empty suspicious bags on the ground as well so beware if you have pets .service was not awful they were somewhat helpful.

This is a budget place for around USD 70 including parking, CAD 10 extra will be charged as parking which does not reflect in online price. Indian restaurant in house that is available toll 2 am, room service with $1 extra and cash CAD payment or you walk to pick up your order, Food feels home made very nice but if you hate spicy hot food please mention while placing your order. The staff is excellent and takes care of your special request, I would recommend this place and will book this again. Thank you for making my stay memorable.

We loved the location of this hotel. Right near all of the tourist attractions, restaurants, everything practically walking distance - even the falls. The only down side was that many things were outdated like the carpets and the television (minimal channels). We also would have liked if more towels and garbage bags were included in the room since housekeeping is only as requested. However, despite all of this we enjoyed our stay nonetheless.

Whole place stank of cigarettes, especially the "non-smoking room." If you can spare the cash for a better place, I recommend doing that. The best I can say about it is that I don't think I got bed bugs. They make you pay $10 a night for parking as well.

You couldn't choose a worse motel than this. It doesn't even deserve a benefit of a doubt. How does this place have any quality for what it is called?? This is a dirty, dingy motel far away from the main strip. Arriving here at the very first question the guy started to blame the platform we've used! Coming into the room, it smelled nasty! Couldn't sleep in it properly because that dirty smell. The shower didn't work properly and it was quite noisy outside. They locked us out for no reason and the breakfast was subpar. I strongly recommend that you look for another accommodation in Niagara Falls.

My first time here and I got nothing but the best service as Adrian was very helpful with upon checking in for one night. He was very helpful polite and helpful. The bed was very comfy, so i slept well. The bath tub was leaking water but other then that it was a very nice stay plus I will be back. When I checked out the gentleman at front desk was also very polite. I like the staff at this Howard Johnson in lundys lane.

We had bed bugs in the middle of the night and when we let them know in the morning during check-out time, they were not at all apologetic and acted casual.. Room floors were not clean and bathroom was dirty and with winged fly flying about..

The only reason I gave it 2 stars was that the workers were nice. The room was dirty, the bathroom floor was always weirdly wet, the toilet rocked back and forth because it was not bolted down. The bathroom always smelled like weed, and the bed mattresses were mushy. The breakfast in the morning was skimpy so I was glad there was a Tim Hortons nearby.

Overall, it's not great. It's fine but not great. The evening ladies were lovely when we checked in; but, the morning ladies did not seem to wanna do their jobs. DOES NOT INCLUDE BREAKFAST or parking even though their website promotes it. Parking is available for $20 per night. The bathroom was a bit dated, with a yellow tinge. The room had a wet towel smell. There are other places with better ratings & better prices.

I'm so tired of using 3rd parties to book rooms. We requested a room with a balcony, told we would have one, but when we got to our room, no balcony. No one could help us, including the booking service, nor the hotel. No one takes responsibility for their errors anymore. Very frustrating. Not worth $228.00 for a night.

My boyfriend and I stayed there on Saturday June 10, 2023, the window was broken and had a piece of packing tape covering it, the jacuzzi was dirty and still had water in it. There was no mini fridge to put the wine or any other drinks in, no microwave and if you don't drink coffee then you were out of luck. It almost looked like the Bates Motel and is seriously over priced for what you get. The breakfast also needs some major improvement. If your looking to spend a night in Niagara Falls, I would suggest avoiding the Howard Johnson. It was very disappointing to say in the least. We won't be going back that for sure.

The room was nice and cool on a hot day . It was clean. The bed very comfortable. The hotel can use a general upgrade but for the price and location ,it's fair . Their is also a pool but ita not open yet so I can't rate it.

A terrible place to stay. You walk into a smelly room. They say it’s non-smoking but all you smell is cigarette. Bathroom is very dirty and poorly taken care of. There’s no fridge or mini fridge. There is no microwave or hair dryer. Towels are ripped and dirty. I was ok till people started screaming outside the rooms. I called the front desk and they did nothing about it. I wasn’t able to get any sleep at this place. Oh, I almost forgot about the terrible mattress. A WASTE OF MONEY.

Smoke smell was so strong in the bathroom of a non smoking room. Noisy!!!! Bed missing mattress or something. Not a nice place! Do not stay there!

Enjoyed our stay here, room was spotless and bed was comfortable. Reception staff were friendly and accommodating when we asked about adding another night. Just a short drive from falls and main strip. We will stay here again when we come back

Very bad place to stay. The motel is really old and run down. Furniture and bathroom really old. The cleanliness is not good. These place needs a major renovation.

At 1 am could here someone trying to get in our room. Figured it was just someone drunk that forgot what room they were in but then the door opened. Front clerk let people in our room so of course I wad angry especially when the clerk acted like it's no big deal and try turning it on me that we went in wrong room. I am not sure how that's possible since we had key for the room. Worst Howard Johnson ever. Will definitely not be coming back

One of the worst hotels/motels I’ve stayed in. The odou of stale cigarettes and mustiness from carpet hits you as soon as you enter the room. Kids running up and down and banging stuff was so irritating at 12am. The toilet barely flushed and furniture looked so worn out. I chose this place through “Hoteltonight” since I had to use a credit with them, but their description and reviews did not give me the impression it was so bad.

Where to start?.. The room was terrible, don't get me started on the BEDS a whole disaster! The beds made me want to go outside and sleep on the SNOW, probably would be more comfortable!! Very outdated, and the carpet NEEDS to be replaced, cigarette burns everywhere! The scent of cigarettes was intoxicating, made everyone nausea, burned my nostrils, and had to open the door to air out the room. The only positive thing about this whole experience was the water pressure. You get what you pay for.

The room was badly smelling, complaint on front desk but they have no air freshener instead the guy gives a spray bottle of disinfectant. Disturbed whole night due to smell. The iron staircase was covered with snow which indicates that the management has no sense of customers safety of slip and fall. A bad experience.

The room was nice and comfortable but the service was horrible, I had to leave early for work and my partner who was staying in the room with me was going to pay for that day. I told them to run my credit card and the guy said it was good. Later they were banging on the door trying to get more money out of me and kept saying we didn't pay. Also when I was checking out I went to get breakfast and the person kept asking me if I'm even staying there after I showed him my keycard and told him the name and room number. Never staying there again. Also very hard time getting our deposit back

Very polite and accommodating staff. It’s a nice little inn not that far away from the falls that is decently priced. Affordable and clean, I stayed here 2 years ago and they’ve kept up their standards.

We have been guests over the last 5 years . We have pets and I usually rent two rooms one for my kids and one for my wife and I . This hotel has been so accommodating and the staff have went over and above to making our stay enjoyable . I would highly rate anyone with a family that is budget minded but looking for a clean room and well kept up pool to take a look at this place . Would like to thank all the staff and management for giving us 5 years of your service and hotel . Looking forward to the next 5 years thanks again regards Jamie and family

You get what you pay for. I have no complaints about this hotel in general. They were very accommodating. However, there's nothing creepier than 4 older men sitting outside of their rooms, watching people go in and out of the hotel. Probably the easiest way to ward off anyone wanting to stay here for more than a night, and I mean that in the most negative way possible. It was very off-putting. I do not recommend to families, especially with small children. As a parent, this is a very uncomfortable thing to have lingering in the back of your mind when you have your child staying here with you, and these kinds of people are just watching you.

firstly i didn't get the room i reserved online, i was assigned a room right below a party with about 8 people yelling until about 5 am, I left shortly after 5. The mattress was pure springs, zero cushion on the mattress, and there were no cups. Only good thing was I could pay with visa debit with 100 deposit. If you want to have a good sleep ir even a sleep at all, do not come here. If you want to party come here. Its ghetto

An amazing place with good vibes. Price affordable and special jacuzzi.

Here now...no coffee maker, no alarm clock, no fridge, no microwave, no plug for hot tub, no ice bucket, no glasses......just bed, desk, table and tv. No phamplets or directions on how to call office or room to room. Walls are very thin. Didn't expect the Ritz but holy.

This is a no frills place, the staff are very nice, the room is clean, no bugs ever, the 3 stars is just because when there is no breakfast or coffee, coffee maker and fridge in the room would be great.

Weekly rates are high compared to other motels on the strip, but with less to offer. No microwave for example. No container for ice. No glasses.

The room wasn't as per seen on the web, very nasty carpet, room smelled very bad, there was not difference between rooms 🚭, they smelled the same for me, i made a reservation for 2 nights but I stayed 1 only, they showed me another 2 rooms, the last one I would rate from 1 to 5, 1.1, honestly I'm very surprised that Wyndham recommended it. Regarding the receptionist she was friendly, kind and tried to help me out with this issue, but I would never go back to this "place again".
