First time visiting here and this place gave me mixed feelings. The store itself is very clean and seems inviting. BUT the staff aren't as welcoming and seem to be very abrupt and unfriendly. I was the only one in there and there were two of them yet I felt very rushed to make a decision. They took my order and told me to go to my car even though there wasn't anyone else waiting or in the store. As I understand it is small place but there was nobody in there but me. Anyways sub was pretty good. Nothing above the average sub you can get at most sub places. Unfortunately due to the fact the customer service sucked. That would be my first and only time getting a sandwich from there. It's sad because I live close by and wanted a sub place that I can go to conveniently and feel welcomed.

They made a terrible cake for my daughters birthday, they were rude about a correction they had to make as the thought she was 70 years old. In addition to all that the cake fell apart from not being structured properly. New ownership I guess, sad place.

I was helped by a very pleasant, young lady named Kavera. She was quick, professional, and represented the business well. 10/10

I went in for a large assorted with italian salami on a whole wheat bun sub, paid for it...$10 something...She handed me the bag and it was so, so light, opened it up in the truck and was so disgusted at the size of my tiny large sub. I will never ever ever never go there again! You guys should embarrassed!

I've been buying cakes here for years!! But lately I've had far too many issues getting my cakes like I asked and agreed upon at time of purchase...Great cakes but service lately is lacking. Please fix Mrs Rolston.

Never disappointed by subs plus, I have been getting cakes from them since I was a girl. This year for my hubbies birthday they killed it ❤️. I kept waiting to get a call saying they couldn’t fit my message on the cake - nope! Always delicious, always accommodating, will forever be my go to!

I bought an amazing delicious key lime vegan birthday cake. I am definitely coming back again soon to buy more. 5/5

Fantastic birthday Cake!!! So glad subs plus is still around use to get these cakes when growing up in Welland. Most recently ordered with Leslie coming home to Niagara from North of Toronto. Leslie was very patient with my many questions and so happy with our choice of cake. It was moist and very delicious…thank you again!!

Arrived early Sunday afternoon and were the only ones in the store. Within a few minutes, there was a line out the door. This was our 1st time here. Ordered a 12" veggie sub with Italian dressing. Got to pick my choice of veggies and dressing. Veggies were fresh; dressing was tangy. Don't order a 12" unless you're really hungry. Also ordered a date square and peanut butter cookies. I can't totally rave about our desserts. The cookie was the right consistency (soft and chewy) but needed more of a punch of peanut butter. Square filling was silky smooth but the bottom was slightly on the hard side. Will be back for the subs though and maybe order a cake. Really popular with the rest of the line.

I always get my cakes for my birthday from here. Just the right amount of sweetness. Tried their assorted sub for the first time and I was extremely satisfied. Amazing in prices too 🙂

The lady who cooked this is really talent! i just email the photo to them, then they brought me this with huge surprise! I like the lovely cake, highly recommended! by the way, the girl who severed me is nice!

I just was surprised with a VEGAN subs plus cake for my birthday and it was literally to die for. So moist & hard to believe it was vegan. Filling was keylime 😋 8” cake cost approx $33

I haven't been to this establishment in a couple years and certainly won't be returning. The woman serving me was unfriendly and quite rude, I have been most fortunate to have never experienced such awful customer service (until today). A help wanted sign is posted on the outside window, I hope for the businesses sake the owner hires someone with good if not excellent customer service skills. Best of luck.

I say it how it is - Walmart cakes are better. I‘m so disappointed. One of the worst cakes we ever had. Very much ruined the birthday. And then the price? What a joke. I ordered there because of the high ratings but that was an atrocious cake. Everyone got a sick stomach from the cake after just a few bites.

I pre ordered cupcakes and was running late to pickup and got there 5 minutes before close and the girls working already locked up, stared at me as I was trying to walk in (meanwhile they should still be open) and turned around and ignored me.

I chose to tip the girl serving me her coworker took the money out of the one tip jar and put it in the bakers tip jar. If I wanted to tip the baker I would have. The worker who swapped tip jars was very rude.

Their subs are fresh and always delicious....their cakes and baked goods are amazing!! And they will do them any way you want...delicious!!!

Life saver, I forgot to order a birthday cake. I called on Saturday and they had the cake ready on Sunday morning by 11 a.m. Great service for a last minute order, and the cake was great in looks and taste. Thanks for the outstanding service.

I just stopped by Subs Plus on Scott St. to pick up my daughter a cake for her 25th birthday. We were lucky enough to get the last one. The girl serving us was very personable and helpful. I asked her if we could have a message written on it. She said she’d check with the decorator but she was busy. She came back out and said that the decorator had too much to do and put a Happy Birthday pick on the cake instead. She seemed a bit embarrassed. I couldn’t believe that for $37.95 the decorator couldn’t take two minutes out of her busy schedule to personalize a cake. This was nothing more than laziness on her part! What is happening to people’s work ethics? Is this not part of her job description? As a service to a customer, she should have happily taken on the task. As the owner of this business, I would be embarrassed by this employee’s actions!
