Useless. No one to help you. Most products are non existent now. Too expensive for a lot of things and poor quality. And watch out for the food. Apple pie had cores and the twig from the Apple in it. Had to throw 2 pies out because of the cores in it... I couldn't believe it. And the crust was mushy and gross. You can't get your money back cause they won't bother to look at it. I'll never buy food from there either. It's freezer burned or overdue date and they freeze everything then put them on the shelves to defrost. Horrible. Not enough cashier's and you have to check yourself out now too. This store is horrible. It's not a superstore either like the other ones are . Don't waste your time. Go to the other ones . Way better choices ,quality, and help.

1 star refers to "zero star," the cashier, and the manager were very mean to us today. When I went to the cashier she saw a water bottle in my hand and she asked if I got it from the store- she thought I took it from the store- I replied: no, that's not from their store it's from another store, she asked again are you sure?- she didn't believe me- I repeated again it's not from their store, surprisingly she asked in a very mean way: do you have the receipt?. 3 times asked me about my water bottle that I replied from the first time that's not from the store. The more surprising part is when I asked to see the manager. She came after around 10 minutes investigating about what happened, I told her the story, she said that they usually put a tag on the stuff you have once you enter the store to know that is not from their store- which is not right at all as It's not the first time for me to deal with the store-and her reply was with the tone saying I don't care exactly as the other one. Finally, the manager apologized in a not acceptable way. I didn't accept that apologies, but i promised to write my review.

Best grocery store to go to in St. Catharines. Walmart always has what you're looking for such as clothes, food, electronics, toiletries, health products and so much more. There is a very large self checkout centre and employees are always ready to help when there is a problem.

Went there today to pick up some makeup and a other things. They now have the beauty section closed off at the ends and now you have to pay there before you can leave the section!!! Basically telling their customers "we know you're thieves" will not shop there anymore. I left my buggy full and walked out!

This location is the worst of the 3 in St. Kitts. The Grocery section appears to have been laid out by someone that has never gone grocery shopping or has a great sense of humour. End of aisle shelves do not correlate with items in the aisle. If they do on rare occasions it was accidental.Palletts and carts of product to be stocked are parked throughout this location many times causing traffic jams. The Self checkouts can be chaotic, loud and time consuming when the store is busy. And if you want to go the old school way and load your items onto the belt and be checked out by an employee it's a bit of a wait on a lucky day. You can get all your shopping done here for the most part. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Some nice employees work here. Management needs to seriously address things, though. Poor coverage in the Electronics department on a regular basis leads to extensive wait times for customers while the cell phone people have little control over what they can help with outside of phones

They got rid of disposable bags. Fair enough, Walmart is one of the biggest polluters in the world. But they don't even offer to sell reusable bags. If you forget your bags at home, literally the only option is to buy a $7 tote. I saw people walk out with 10 items in their arms, dropping things on the way. Bonehead management.

Back on July 2nd we were having a BBQ and purchased sausages from Walmart on Welland avenue. My daughter bit into hers and there was a spring in the middle of it and caught on her mouth appliance. We went directly back to the store and took pictures and the spring and gave to the manger and was told that someone from Walmart lawyers would be in touch with us. It’s now almost a month and no one has connected with us. We’ve called several times with no response. Please be careful when purchasing any sausages from them as this store doesn’t seem to care what happens to their customers

Not satisfied with the quality of the photo printed at this site. The photo printed in a great color cast on red. I once doubted that it could be something wrong with my digit photo. Then I found that my digit photo was good after I got another print at Shopper's.

Once, I went to Walmart and I realised that I have lost my phone. In a hurry, I called out for help and Justin and Trinity (one of the staff) helped me out. They looked out for my phone in all the aisles. They went aisle to aisle for it. In addition to this, a guy from customer care desk also came and helped me. I finally found my phone and the staff was very helpful. Hence, in my opinion, Walmart should really acknowledge their work.

Went into the store just before 9 am this morning.. no cashier's on only self check out.. no problem..I'm in line 20 minutes to self check out only to realize 4 self checks outs are open the other 12 are closed ...I wasn't the only one to dump my groceries right there and walk out.... Really Walmart it's bad enough I have to check myself out but to have to wait 20 minutes to do so ... I'll shop the fourth ave store for now on..

I purchased a Mr. Coffee maker for over $40 and only had it for about two months before it broke down. I only used it once a day for one cup of coffee and because I lost the receipt Walmart could not do anything to help with this situation. what a waste of money. I will never buy another appliance from Walmart again

We went for Black Friday S23 deal with Roger's for my wife on her birthday. The Associate who helped us three days ago did not tell us of a credit check and today ran one without my consent. What's worse, we were on hold with Rogers validation dept for half hr. After clearing with Roger's, the Walmart Associate advised me of a 20% upfront downpayment for the phone because of my credit. My credit score is in top 5 % quartile. This is unethical practice. Walmart should refrain from such practices.

Photo orders are dead slow. Always empty photocentre. U won't find anyone here to help. U can print and go if you want. But you will be helpless when u do 1 hour print or online prints. They don't have passport print as well. Not a good place πŸ˜•

My father and I were in the walmart today, waited in line for the regular check outs. We waited about 2min not long, an old woman was directing people. She was not wearing her mash properly first off, nor a name tag to see her name. She said we could go to 15 and we did not more then a few moment later she came and grabed our cart said we cut the line and didnt wait then when we reminded her with did she pusbed our cart away from us. I have tried to call the store to speak with someone and I was hung up on.

I went to your store first thing this morning because l dropped my cell phone and couldn't figure out how to fix it. I purchased my phone from your store two years ago so I thought maybe someone could help me at the electronics department. Sure enough there was a young man helping a customer and he looked at me to say hello can I help you? He took my phone fixed it for me like a pro. He made my day l was so relieved!! He was the nicest guy, employee that I haven't experienced in a long time. His name is Robin, Boy Oh Boy your company is very lucky to have him on your team. Thank you Robin I'll never forget how you treated me so kindly and sweet.

If this is your choice of Walmart stay away. I walked in around 10:20pm to get a few late night groceries for my family, after working late and driving through leftovers from the snow storm. A few items ended up turning into a bit more items, long story short, my hands where full. I decided to go looking for a cart or hand-basket, located by the cash registers. I CLEARLY passed the self checkout , i was in the next β€œpostal code”, here comes employee of the year, self checkout reminder king, yelling! from across the room wearing a yellow apron β€œcheckout, CHECKOUTs over here!” I just gritted my teeth and muttered under my breath, and went to get a cart. Then I asked him β€œdid I inform you I was checking out for the night?” He went on to verbally berate me. Whats with the yelling at customers and rushing them? If these people are so desperate to get people out of the store, they are really going to turn people off Walmart and lose alot of money and customers ,this one at least, all to leave before 11:00pm. PS I’m disappointed in management who came over and did nothing to defuse the situation or at minimum hear out what transpires.

Went there the other day to buy 4 things. Had 4 things visible on the counter thingy, 4 things showing on the self check out, was badgered by an employee saying I didn’t scan cat litter when it literally said cat litter on the screen.

I bought a bag of dog food and Kumar the cashier rang it through, then I remembered I had my status card and want to use it for my 1 item. Kumar told me I could not use it due to it will affect the store. I told him just cancel the transaction and put it through again. Which he did. When finished I mentioned how it was not hard. Kumar said he was doing his job. I have never had an issue with using my card or cancellimg a transaction. He said he was doing his job. So, walmart has issues with status card holders or cancellimg items. Either way I felt like Kumar was some type of racist. I will how ever continue to buy my dog food there just because its cheap. But I do hate Walmart and even more after this transaction with Kumar.

Always busy there's not enough actual cashiers working instead of do it yourself machines! Some people can't use these DIY's because they are handicapped and using scooters or wheelchairs and its kind of hard to or have other health problems and it's too hard. Stop taking Canadians jobs away!! We can do without the DIY's maybe the theft rates would lower if you have actual cashiers working registers!!

Pouring rain, went to grab a few things on lunch hour- there were no carts, 4 people waiting for carts to be brought in- waited 10 minutes before trying to grab what I NEEDED and could carry without a cart. By the time I left the store there were still no carts and many seniors, and other unable people trying to get things without a cart- really quite unacceptable when there was many able bodied associates standing, stocking, greeting etc. and elders struggling 😞

Shopping experience left me feeling scammed out of my hard earned money. Bought a toddler mattress, brought home to realise it is much too firm for toddler comfort. Brought back to exchange for a softer option but original Welland Ave. store would not accept returns, temporarily. Had to scramble for cash and purchase a second mattress. I was assured I can return the first one once returns are accepted. Brought back at a later date to be told that it is past return date. No effort was made to help with my expensive loss. This is a scam!

Purchased a pre paid Kodoo phone , associate said I can purchase air time there as well, sold me air time for another company , ( not Kodoo ) said he couldn't refund cell phone air time, his error & told ," sell it to someone else ", I asked to speak with Manager, long story short after 20 minutes waiting, Manager finally showed, returned my funds with no issues, what a hassle, never shop here ever again, Never ever treat your customers like you can step on them after you take there money, ( nice to me prior too and at sale, then thereafter complete turn around ) horrible , horrible day.

I have use their online grocery shopping for a few years and have been satisfied until the past few months. The number of grocery items not in stock on the app keeps growing, basics like milk, margarine and coffee for example. When you ask why the associate often tells me they do have stock so can’t understand why the app is saying out of stock. No TH coffee for the past 3 weeks so I went into the store after I picked up my order and found there’s plenty on the shelf. System problems that need fixing!!!

Some of the store shelves are half empty and the remainder was scattered about the shelf. This was in the sporting goods end of the store. Have to say the food aisle section is good. Seem to have this area under supervision and much tidier.

If I could rate negative stars I would. This two-timing lizard shape-shifter gilligan of an employee with the name "Alex they/them" on their name tag from the electronic department made me wait a full hour for a return that took litterally 30 seconds to do. She waited until the two people ifront of me were completely done before she rang the phone for someone else to come and do my return for her since she didn't even know how to do it. Instead of calling him before hand she made me wait one hour standing there even though I mentioned that I had two small children waiting for me in the car (obviously supervised). Don't know if she does this purely out of sadistic amusement or out of spite because she seen i was clearly in a rush and needed it done. So she waited last minute that she could to spite me and make me wait as long as possible like an immature 6 year old. I have never had the desire to write a negative review about someone until today. I am so happy about freedom of speech and how hopefully through writing this, This person's or entity or being or whatever she is or claims to be may get fired as she doesn't belong in the walmarts and she is far too unqualified and unprofessional to work for that company. She belongs at mcdecks flipping burgers which is probably what she was doing before this. By the way this is not my account I'm just using as I forgot the password to my account.

Not all Walmarts in the same city if you have more then 1 , st Catherine's has 3 and not all of them sell all the same items so be careful if your exchanging something and make sure if your returning something that the other store Carey's it or they won't exchange it cause it won't be in there system

This Walmart has been frustrating in the past to shop in. Things were difficult to fine, and employees were not sure where items were. I recently switched to doing pick up through the Walmart app. It has been wonderful! A special shout out to Michael, who works in the pick up department. He is so genuine and friendly, and it makes grocery shopping here way better! Five out of five stars for him, three out of five stars for the store as a whole.

Went to the Welland Ave store last night with elderly parent. A group of about 6 people in their 20's walking about store together in a group being loud and laughing...NON OF THEM W EARING MASKS. When I said something about this one of them became confrontational and in my face (with no mask). How does management allow this to happen during the pandemic? I will never go back to this store again. Shame on you Walmart.

Issue below with Walmart Niagara Falls. But Welland Ave Walmart saved the day!!! :) I live in the GTA and I'm trying to return a defective product purchased for my granddaughter for Christmas. Spoke to a rude associate and then another ignorant "Assistant Manager" Jennifer (both from the Niagara Falls location). She couldnt help either because "it's not her job to look up reciepts" I have the reciept but it's with me. They can't help without a physical copy of the reciept. Thanks to the Walmart (Welland Ave, St. Catharines) who was more than willing to help me out! I called there today extremely frustrated and upset about this defective product. Janessa and her management team quickly came up with a solution to correct this problem. Also apologized to me for the experience I had with the Niagara store. Janessa, you and your team need to go to the Niagara store and how them what customer service is about! You guys saved the day! Thank you!

I ordered 3 items online, about a week and a half later the money was put back into my account, so I reordered the same 3 times and paid for the express delivery, which was an extra $60. I was unaware that they had gone back into my account and taken the money out again without my knowledge or consent. My items were estimated to be delivered between July 24, 2020 and July 27, 2020. It is now August 11 still no product and the money has not been put back in my account. Now there is no record of my purchase, I will never order anything online from Walmart again, bad first experience. So for what should have been $116.97 has now cost me $277 for the items that were only $37.

She is so so helpful I was so confused before, regarding which plan should I go for and what option should I choose. She is so understanding and helpful I am so happy that I decided to visit this store as well. she helped me to pick best option. I really wanna thank to her and this store who have such a nice employees working there. I didn’t get that attention, understanding and care from any other store where I went. I went to purchase a smart TV tonight, and we selected the LG model. Unfortunately, our payment didn't go through at the electronics department, leading us to the front-end of the store. This is where our horrible ordeal began. An employee named Nichole A exhibited a significant lack of knowledge and empathy. She held the receipt from our failed electronics purchase but didn't explain her actions when scanning it. When I noticed an $80 warranty charge and expressed our disinterest, she responded rudely, instructing me to "press decline" without clarifying where to do so. After some confusion, I discovered she referring to the machine feets away from me. She did not communicate this and instead displayed impatience. When I attempted to pay again, she insisted I remove my card and call my company, insisting their machine was fine very loudly. The machine however, displayed clear instructions to remove and insert/swipe the card, but she snapped at me, incorrectly accusing me of tapping. When I clarified, she snapped again, instructing me to remove the card. Feeling embarrassed, I decided to retrieve my husband's card from the machine and told them I'd be back in store with my card. Another employee informed me they were closing soon, and I needed to return quickly, which seemed reasonable. However, Nichole A continued to roll her eyes, belittle me, and laugh at the situation, despite my complaint about her behavior. Even when the manager, Patrick, arrived to mediate, she persisted in her disrespectful conduct, refusing to give her name, and openly mocking me in front of him. My experience at this Walmart location was deeply disappointing, and Nichole A's behavior does not reflect well on the store's reputation.

This Walmart is the worst location in St Catharine’s . There’s literally minimal selection of anything . The international section is close to non existent compared to other locations . The way the groceries are laid out in the aisles do not make sense . If you want to go to an actual cashier to check out your items they still line up the same as they did during peak Covid which is not the worst thing but an employee told me one day that it wasn’t necessary to do that so on another day that I went there I told one lady the same thing and she argued with me in the middle of the aisle . The self check out is mostly always crowded and certain workers will harass and interrogate you while at the self check out . One worker in particular - I stopped going there because she was so inappropriate everytime I encountered her . I understand they have a job to do but at which time is there a limit to how you treat paying customers . I get real ghetto vibes here . Don’t recommend.

😠 Date: July 11th, 2023 Assistant Manager- Doug (Worst ever manager interaction and customer experience at supposedly best customer service store) If there was an option of 0 or negative star, I would have chosen that. This is my go to walmart, because this has most Indian stuff in my area. On July 1...

πŸ‘ I love the bathing facility that they have. I understand that each store is individually owned but it would be nice if there was consistency in the bathing areas. This store has great towels and really nice staff but they do not have any treats for the dogs so you either have to buy some from there...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Wow. Haven't been in here for years! The store is so bright and clean... and tons of things always on sale. Great quality cut meats (even hard-to-find ones with some fat in it cause we all know that's where the flavour is at πŸ˜‰) Love the seafood section also. I went in there for wings and pork chops...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Just an average little corner store, but this business helps people a lot. I was amazed when I noticed that they provide hot coffee, cookies and sandwiches to those who need to eat and warm up a bit.
