CLEAN and friendly great fresh produce, lots of products to choose from and even the cashier remembers me, hi Linda ! The prices are easily most competitive, with some great sales.

I was passing by the area, and I just wanted to buy something frish to eat. At the door, Linda one of the cashier was really helpful and welcoming. So i decided to do my weekly groceries at that nice store. staff really make a difference

Not a complainer but not going back either - to the manager of this store it is very dirty!!! I wanted to buy an onion but they were all old and rotten - a lady I spoke to said all the sweet potatoes were rotten as well- I will do the extra drive to go to the Geneva st store - oh and I forgot my apples I bought we old and close to turning bad but I ate it anyway - for the prices we are paying the quality is pathetic !! Whoever is running this store needs to be replaced - rant over - one star is a gift 🎁

Stock is always available and fresh. Friendly staff. Clean facility. Parking in front can be tight. There is a big lot. Self Check-out available. Cashiers are very quick. No credit card surcharge.

Its a typical basic food store. Very popular given the lower prices compared to the fancy grocery stores and its location. They usually have some good sales but like all the other grocery stores its usually the junk food on sale. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Parkind is no issue

Lots of great deals this week. Delissio pizza 1.99, ribs 5.95, Campbells soup 87 cents. Hunts sauce 1.47. My only criticism is that the produce isnt great.

Some great price in the fruit department. 20 lbs of different orange's and Tangerine for only $2.00

First time doing groceries here and I discovered they have a lot of great deals! I also found dinosaur nuggets here (which are hard to find in walmart) yey!! :)

Almost everything I ordered was available & arrived within the estimated delivery time & the UBER EATS driver & helper were very pleasant & took care in handling all the groceries, I gave them another $10 as they deserved it 😊❤️👍😎☮️

Been going there for a long time the new lady is very pleasant. Employers should take notice how to treat consumers.

Really like their produce. Prices are better here. They are not involved in any gimics like Air Miles. All that does is raise prices. I switched from Zehrs about 6 months ago and prefer to shop here at Food Basics. Zehrs is much more expensive and their PC Optima program is useless unless you buy their bulk item specials . Also you can get some bargains but you have to buy at least 2 of the same items when you only need one. The staff at Food Basics are very helpful and down to earth. The store could use a bit of a refresh though. Its okay for now but they should update it soon. Highly recommend this store above all other grocery outlets in Niagara. No Frills is okay, but there are too many reduced for quick sale stickers on their meats. Will not buy from them for that reason.

Food basics is always my weekly grocery shopping go-to, and this store in particular has quite a robust produce section. You can nearly always find discounted produce, perfect for dinner the night or night after you buy it. Definitely recommend shopping here for quality groceries at a quality price.

Great place. I called to buy a full skid of water for my employees to have on there trucks to stay hydrated for the summer while working. Jay at Food Basics was Awesome and accommodating to my needs.

Most Trust Worthy Store. Forgot my Wallet at the cashier. Went next day morning and they had kept my wallet full of cash, cheque and Cards safe with them.

I am a frequent food basics shopper. This was my first time at this location and I was very disappointed with the customer service! Definitely will not return!!

I like the store. The produce and the meat section is really good. However, they lock up baby formula section. It's hard to find an employee for assistance especially with a baby and a stroller.

Just recently started shopping here after 21+ years in the neighborhood. I was pleasantly surprised by the produce selection and quality. Most items are cheaper than Sobeys or RCSS, but there are still a few items I have to bounce around to other stores to get. By switching from Sobeys to here, I'm easily knocking 75 bucks or more off our weekly bill.

I usually always go here to grab odds and ends from here. Also clean and staff is always friendly

Every time im there there is berly any stuf in the back to help u with milk I find the one on Geneva wah better then the one on hartzel st. Plus they took alot of gluten free products of the shelfs

Filthy, smells like an animal cage and the produce quality...... I can't even think of a respectful comment so I just won't.. 🤨 This economy is hard for folks, and I can only Imagine for those on a fixed income who have no choice but to shop here.....shame on you for offering anyone this Quality of food and shopping experience. Whomever is managing this place should be ashamed. I have NEVER seen anyone with a temp gun to check the meat, the freezers are outdated and things are between melting or frost all over the boxes, the seafood area have bags of product that looks half frozen and has condensation on them. Someone is going to be sick. This used to be our place to shop and since the pandemic we have notice a steady decline of the store overall. Each week it gets worse..... Today's experience has sealed the deal....we just cannot anymore just unbearable. We shop at multiple places weekly and this is the only store that is of concern......I see so many positive reviews and there is noway that these are not employees or family and friends...just unacceptable. 😭
