Can't believe I've never heard of this bakery before today. I got the assorted on a kaiser with everything. It was delicious and only $5.50! The bun and toppings were very fresh. My husband loved his 12" roast beef sub. The Portuguese tarts were the best I've ever had. We can't wait to go back!

I have been grabbing sandwiches from St.Joseph’s for over 5 years now! They always have fresh pastries and sandwiches! Definitely recommend their cannolis!

Think of a family run deli with amazing food, and those pretzels from Poland are just wow. Lots of european imported foods to choose from. This place is a gem in the city, and those Portuguese custard tarts are amazing. You cannot go wrong visiting this place if you want that taste of Europe.

Very tasty products and friendly staff. Especially there is one girl with blue eyes, guess her name is Meggy she's beautiful and such a nice girl.

I have been coming to this place for the past 20 years, excellent selection, and good prices, Barb, Mary and Derek are very tolerant of my jokes, they're glad to see me come🤗, and probably just as glad to see me go😇, great people, for years I didn't realize that Barb was also the owner, she works along with her staff, and blends in so well, what a GREAT boss you guys have, I'm sure they all love her ESPECIALLY Derek😘. I have been coming to this place for 35 years! It was our go to for lunches for school or before hikes as kids. Growing up making pizzas with their homemade dough. Now I go there with my kids and they love the "flower" salami, donoughts, ready made pizza and fresh buns. The ladies behind the counter know me and my parents by names still. Such a beautiful family business with great quality food!

Been going there since 1999 it's always clean. They have their own bakery which is excellent lots of bread types the pastries are a little expensive. The meats can be sliced to any thickness you want. lots of variety.very yummy

This is my favorite bakery in all of Niagara. The staff is always friendly and very helpful with finding what you need. Wonderful selection of goods at very reasonable prices. The bread here is absolutely incredible.

Great bakery and deli with awesome workers behind the display cases. Their custard slices are to die for as are their Red velvet cake slices. My husband and I recently moved to the area and wanted to.find a niche deli and happily found it with St Joseph's .

Sadly, very disappointed! First and last time I would visit this establishment. I have never had such a rude cashier! No fresh cabbage rolls or perogies all frozen! The company I was with agree just awful!

Bought 2 Subs - ham and cheese. One with everything, which is supposed to include onion, tomato, sub sauce. The bun was crisp and dry on the outside. There were a few pieces of very thinly sliced tomato, about 1 inch by 1 inch. There was no onion at all, and the sub sauce is a very vinegary mayonnaise. Very disappointing.

Amazing traditional european bakery great place great food top quality bread

This is my go to place for a bakery treat on Fridays after work. The staff are lovely, and the surrounding community has the feel of little Italy in Toronto... great selection of imported goods and deli meats. Grab a freshly made sub for lunch and a sweet bite of European Chocolates on the way to the cash out. Dont forget ...Yummy polish cheeses sold in any amount you like.

Such a nice place. Such a nice old aesthetic we are no longer afforded. I can see why they’ve been open for so long. I went in hoping they’d have Swiss cheese but not too confident. They had 3 kinds. And to my delight, they also had one of my favourite desserts offered. Tiramisu. Very hard to find. Good service, selection and prices. I’m glad the pandemic didn’t ruin it. Will definitely be returning.

This is quite a sad review ad I have loved their food for years but sadly after today I will no linger be returning... 14$ for a veggie sub... I can get a gourmet fancy firehouse sub of the same size with more and better ingredients for the same price ... they said it was because meats so expensive... no meat on a veggie sub... all it is is a bun lettuce tomato onion mayo and mustard with cheese... maybe a whole 3$ of ingredients.... just abosulty pathetic how much they are trying to gouge their customers... lost a customer of 15 years because you decided to gouge your customers to the extreme...also if that's just for a veggie sub a sub with meat must be about 17$ whose going to pay 17$ for a sub with meat and basic toppings and just mayo... submissions subs 2 for 10$ more toppings and sauces and fresh as well , subway 10$ a sub the only place that charges as much is firehouse for their fancy gourmet subs. Your store is just trying to gouge every dollar you can from your customers... even from a bussiness stand point you'll just make things harder because you will have less people going to your store... I've told a few ppl already and they agreed they won't be returning... I'm sorry but just very disappointed... after 15 years you lost a customer for being far to greedy...

Good bakery. They have Portuguese natas pastries that were ok, not like the ones you can get in Lisbon, but still well done. They also have a lot of imported Polish foods. Worth exploring.

Between the homey atmosphere and the quality of the baked goods, this place already deserves 5 stars for a relatively small bakery. On top of that, there is a full deli and lots of international goods that you may not be able to find other places. I go here at least once a week for delicious bread, but I can rarely walk past the coffee cake without grabbing one.

Wow, bakery and huge deli options. Staff is wonderful. Fresh bread and sausage. Homemade Polish food available, but only on certain days - check ahead of time. Catering is available, talk to staff. Definitely a keeper.

This is a local Facer street institution. The best European/Polish deli and bakery in St.Catharines. The variety of kielbasa is outstanding. From wood smoked to turkey kielbasa. A wonderful friendly staff always willing to give you a suggestion. They have a good selection of pierogi which are way better than any grocery store brand.

We get their bread products, and they're always fresh and delicious. My husband interacts with their delivery people at his work and says they're great to work with.

Great local Polish Ukrainian bakery with a deli counter and imported foods. Many sausages, kielbasa, cutlets and lunch service. Nice sweet baked goods, rye bread, challah and other breads. Savory items such a as meat on a stick their own and other perogies, cabbage rolls and more.

Love grabbing my cold cuts as well as the tasty desserts there.. my favorite has to be the double smoked kilbosa....soon good!

What a delicious meal Barb and her staff provided for lunch on the first day of our retreat! She accommodated our every request and even delivered the food to the venue at the other end of the city! What can be better than having a bakery on your doorstep. The rolls are Fresh and soft and wonderful. The Deli counter has a great selection and the cakes and deserts are good. There is also a big selection of grocery items, which I love to browse, however as most are in Polish I don't know what to try. Definitely worth a visit
