$7 for an ice cream cone? Seriously? Electric cyclists avoid this café if you do not want to be embarrassed and kicked out after paying for snacks, charging your bikes or PEVs. Our group of 12 electric skate riders arrived to buy drinks and ice cream. 7 of us plugged into outdoor AC outlets to charge our e-skateboards. About 10 minutes after we bought our overpriced snacks, a visibly angry manager comes out to shout at us. Asking “who owns these things, I don’t care if you were customers! you didn’t ask permission to use my power, you must leave right now, I am turning off the circuit breaker” Had he given us the chance, we would have explained that we never charge anywhere unless we purchase something. And, that the chargers draw between 100 and 200 watts. Since we were planning on staying 30 minutes, at most we would use 0.7 kWh of electricity, which on that Sunday, would cost them an additional 6 cents on their electric bill…

Spouse had a gluten-free brownie option that went well with a cup of tea. Hot chocolate was delicious!

The butterflies were extremely tasty and plentiful. Price was normally priced for a tourist place. But honestly a great place to visit and experience. Very cool. And no, they don't serve butterflies to eat.

We had lunch there today after a visit to the Butterfly Conservatory. I found the place pricey. A simple cheeseburger was almost 7 CDN plus tax. The environment was more uncomfortable, than anything I have experienced at McDonald's. Nothing wrong with the taste of the cheeseburger or my wife's soup.

A bit costly but tastes really great. I think they should change the straws for the smoothies though. Either for larger ones or plastic ones. Was really hard to use. Tiny holes dont let pieces through and when the paper got soft we started letting pieces in our mouth. Please change the straws!

Very underwhelmed but the food and for the price not at all with it. The choice of food for the kids meals is very sad (mac n cheese or a grilled cheese). The make and cheese was very strong in flavor and not a flavor most kids would eat. Do yourselves a favor and go elsewhere to eat.

It's a 5 star establishment when it's open. But their hours simply make no sense.

Now called the Garden Cafe. It was clean and spacious with lots of seating. Lots of options for healthy food - wraps, salads, grilled cheese, flat breads. They also had other snacks, and baked goods. Also has icecream and slushies and smoothies. Food is pricey, as it is to be expected. Great spot to go after or before the butterfly conservatory.

I stopped here with my mom for lunch and I wish I took photos. The café is clean and easy to find a spot to sit. The prices are a tad high but you're paying for convenience. I shared a ham and cheese sandwich and a brownie with my mom and both were delicious. 🥪 It wasn't crowded like most places near Niagara and that was nice.
