Hidden gem! No one I asked had even heard of the place. Drove right by the short hills and rockway both of which were packed to get here and it was basically empty. Beautiful walking trails with a mix of dirt/mud and cool rock paths (watch your step) and an awesome waterfalls. If it's been wet I highly suggest mud boots. The whole loop if you walk it including a visit to the waterfalls will be around 2.5 kms and a good hour walk if your sight seeing and talking pictures. If you like nature, waterfalls and love mossy rocks this is the place for you. Highly recommended for a lovely hike in the woods.

A spectacular hiking spot lots of spring flowers in bloom . It is a nice place to see lower falls and top falls . Great place for a picnic and wonderful walk .. not a lot of parking but it's free .

So surprise that the waterfall has very rich water. I guess it is because of the raining days of last week and the week before that. It is just a short walk to reach the waterfall. Parking is limited and just aside the entrance. This week is good to enjoy the foliage.

I would imagine you could spend all day here if you wanted with all the different little trails.. We were just stopping through and even though we weren't even there for more then a half hour it was still I nice visit with a lot of beautiful pieces of nature to take in. This is another one that if we had more time and didn't have a few other things on the agenda that we would have for sure stuck around and explored even deeper. This was one of our last stops before hitting the road to make it home overnight.

It’s a beautiful place and a very short hike for approximately 2.2 km. It’s a pet and kid friendly trail.

Louth Conservation Area takes you to a path of wonderful views and to Louth Falls, trail is kids and dog 🐢 friendly, there is no bathroom, parking lot is limited, bring mosquito repellent in summer and wear proper footwear specifically in winter ( ice cleats highly recommended) .

Great spot, nice trails. Not overly long, or difficult, but the main trails are well kept and wide. We branched off on a couple of the side trails, which were not as wide, but still well marked. It is quite rocky, especially at the higher elevations. It was a little wet and slippery, but nothing overly difficult. My only criticism is that the parking lot could use a little TLC, with some fairly big potholes. We will definitely return.

Great trails, was a nice quiet hike. Only saw a few people on the main trail coming in.

Beautiful Conservation Area that is very well maintained. Nice waterfall too that is only a short ways in from the parking lot. The trail marking is a bit confusing but all loop around so you can't get lost. This is a great place for birding too. Get the Merlin app for listening and identifying the treetop birds.

Great loop trail! Perfect to take the furry friends for a walk in the forest. Has a beautiful little waterfall.

Small parking area, a few trails to access which vary in terrain and elevation. Some good hill climbs and descends. Part of the Bruce Trail was closed however so that didn’t allow access to loop back to the beginning of the trail. Very quiet and peaceful area however.

Awesome quiet trail leading to stream of water and small waterfall. ✨

Trail is smooth and well traveled for the most part. Beware of exposed roots and rocky areas that may be moss covered and slippery with numerous crevices and cracks that can be ankle busters. It was a short, beautiful walk to Lloyd Oliver falls. Lots of wineries nearby to enjoy a glass before or after your hike.

Only problem with this site is that it's a short hike. The falls were minimal because of the time of year, have to go back in the spring.

Unfortunately we came for the waterfall and it was all dried up. But it was a nice walk anyways and not busy at all. Lots of little side trails to choose from.

Quiet place. Easy terrain. Gorgeous scenery. All the moss covered rocks. The rock trails and the falls. All so beautiful. Found it by accident, will be going back.

Not accessible. Very interesting path with a section that you have to step from rock to rock. We took the side path so we didn't see the waterfall but we had an active hike. So much fun, by far my favourite trail so far. Not recommended for small children.

Louth is a beautiful conservation area. The waterfall runs dry in the summer but during Spring and Fall it is a beautiful site to see! Please remember to follow Leave No Trace ethics and protect our conservation areas!

Love hiking. This place is small but interesting. Some trails were wet and muddy and unpassable so we had to forge our own detour. The falls was unspectacular due to the dry weather. Worthy of a visit.

Great side trails up and down the escarpment, not too challenging, quiet, wild and dense forest, a very nice way to access the Bruce Trail

It's beautiful! Quite a Rocky path, but even in the winter, the rocks are covered in green moss, it's not a long trail, easy for kids, beautiful waterfall.

I loved our experience here! Got some video and audio of the water trickling downstream. Sounded beautiful. Loved exploring this place. Got muddy and almost fell so be careful near the water...lots of rocks. The water coming out of the rocky wall was cool. And flowers growing out of it too. It was an exciting adventure especially walking at the water, stepping on stones to cross the water, seeing frogs, just a great experience!

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Drove by this pirate ship looking thing for years and now I decided to stop in and check it out. This isn't the type of place you come to without having other places to go after. πŸ‘πŸ‘ This is a lovely place to simply have a picnic by the water or to do some paddle boarding canoeing or kayaking. The bay itself is nice and calm however you can venture out onto the lake itself. There's a boat launch here that is public but there is also a launch for a rental place where you can rent...
