Great park and splash pad overall. The playground and water elements are super fun and the pavilion offers great shade. The dark colour of the slides make them super hot in the sun though, and there's no water fountain. So those are two things to consider if you're planning to visit on a hot day.

The Town really needs to expand that facility. While it is a great venue, it was well used but I would say overcrowded and could have used a pool to complement the splashpad and give the kids an opportunity to swim.

The splash pad itself deserves four stars. However, two major issues. One is that the pad itself is just asphalt. There's no rubber padding underneath. The other issue is that the splash pad is directly adjacent to a manure factory or distribution centre. It absolutely reeked the day we went. While it was windy, it was also absurdly disgusting having to sit through the smell while my son was playing in the splash pad. As another reviewer noted, the slides get very hot during sunny days, so the park itself isn't really great for little ones. But it does look fun. Personally, the entire park and splash would deserve a 5 star if it wasn't for the proximity to the manure factory and the lack of rubber padding.

Really great place to go and have a picnic. The splash pad is clean and the soccer fields are well maintained. This is a favourite spot for our family.

While it is a fairly new facility and it is clean, there is no real shade. The playground equipment leaves much to desire. It is in an open field with zero shade and navy blue slides that face the sun all day making it very hot for children to slide down in the summer. It also tends to get quite crowded and often there are children who are unsupervised running amok. My 2 year old (at the time) was bowled over by a 10 year old and to top off the day, children left unsupervised were spitting on slides while children tried to use them.

Small clean splaspad. My baby really liked it. Big advantage it has a big washroom facilities so you can change your clothes at ease and also plenty of seating arrangement just in front of the pad. Not crowded at all even in weekend.

Great spot, and even on a Sunday afternoon in July it was not busy at all. Covid protocols caused zero inconvenience and the kids had a blast. Once the playground area opens again it'll be even better.

Has bathrooms close by , covered picnic area and not too overcrowded. Little ones can play without fear of bigger kids knocking them over ;)

My son loves the Virgil splash pad
