They gave me a mint with the bill, so yeah it was a 5/5 experience.

I was with my family and friends (5people) and wanted to sit at the bar, but were denied by the server, who said there is not enough room for 5 of you and the other couple sitting on the other side. The couple graciously moved to the end of the bar area to ensure that there will be enough social distancing between us and them. Then the server said that there is still won't be enough room for social distancing because she needs to keep 2 chairs empty at the start of the bar for bartender to be socially distant from us. We did the math and showed her and explained to her that even if we keep 2 empty chairs at the start of the bar and 5 of us sat down together, there will be still 2 more chairs between us and the couple. She just wouldn't listen to us and told us that you have to sit at the regular table. After we sat down at the regular table, we asked for manager. The manager (Tess) started saying the same thing as server and we tried to explain to her what the situation is and she kept on repeating that "there is not enough social distancing" eventhough that was not true. After that we saw twice that there were people sitting at the start of bar on the first and second chairs eventhough we weren't allowed to sit on first 2 chairs using the excuse of social distancing. The same server and manager, Tess, were not even wearing their masks properly and trying to explain to us about social distancing. This was pure discrimination under the excuse of social distancing because the norms were not used for everybody. We feel this also might have been due to their not wanting a group of 5 brown people sitting in the bar area and taking the space of their regular white customers. The first server who sitted us, did not even provide us with the menus, which were then provided to us by Mason, who was very well courteous and attentive and we appreciate his service. The whole experience though was a big bummer due to the discrimination we faced at the start and hope they coach their staff that every customer is equal.

We had reservations for a large group(20) young adults. We dined in. some ordered their own dish, some shared and some only order drinks.My friends who ordered only water , were told by staff they would have to order something or would have to leave. My friends obliged and order something.Our food arrived , as we were eating 2 waitress and a manager approached the table at different times, stating that everyone would need to order something and that it’s not fair to the staff for us to come to the restaurant and not order anything, however most of the group ordered while others shared orders( food) We were a very respectful group and we’re trying to understand why they were so up set. Because normally we we would order 2 large pizza and all share it. It has never a big deal. It seems like the problem was there wasn’t enough orders for the amount of people. I found the staff-rude and combative and interrupted our meal several times to complain about the fact that everyone didn’t order an individual meal..

Service was good, food came out in a good amount of time, tasted good, but boy are they expensive now! $34.99 for a pizza with black olives, feta cheese and mushrooms?? Our bill was high, I even asked the server to double check it for me. Will not be rushing back....(I got nachos and they were not bad, good size portion).

Came here for my a birthday celebration. My partner ordered a steak. There was some issue with the grill so the steak had some charcoal on it and changed and baked it in the oven. First time I have ever seen this. It was completely tasteless no flavor at all. The rest of the food was better but really could have been better experience overall. The saving grace was the server who was very helpful.

I ordered 2 pizzas, both light sauce. This is clearly not light sauce, this is the second time they did not get the order right. I was told this is half of the sauce they normally put on the pizza. When a customer orders light sauce, you put light sauce on it. Not impressed with Boston Pizza Ontario St.

We went there on our daughter's birthday. Pizza 🍕 and pasta were delicious...service was fast.. would like to go again

There was nothing I didn't like. I had an awesome experience. The food, the service, the ambience, all were good. Servers were very respectful. We went on a Sunday for lunch so it was not very chaotic and we could enjoy the not so loud atmosphere. My kids loved the food. Definitely a must go and repeat place.

My wife and I were at this Boston Pizza last night, seated quickly and within a minute our server Evan came over to get our drink order. My wife asked about the flavours of a certain drink and he quickly went and checked and gave her all of them. He checked on us numerous times even when he had another party of about 10 people and another table. When it came to ordering the food, Evan was great! I’m kind of picky with food and he figured out a solution for me very quickly. Our food came out quickly and was exactly what we wanted! Evan asked us a few times if we needed another drink or anything else. Overall, great service and great food! Thanks Evan for serving us and being absolutely awesome even with all the debit issues yesterday.

The new loaded texmex Fries are great. It can be better if they create a spicy variation of it. Mediterranean Pizza is amazing as well.

This location leaves much to be desired. For some reason the service is always lacking, and the washroom are always dirty. We always wait a long time, reservations are 'lost' even though we have confirmations. Nachos and deep friend ravioli are pretty good, but many other options are strange - tomatoes on spin dip...maybe i've just come on off days, but twice has been on a friday evening/night.

I always type Boston Pizza on my Google maps whenever me and my family are out together and hungry. This Boston pizza in St Catharines was another experience for us. The waitress was very nice, she came time to time to check on us. The food was as usual, awesome, this time my pasta was too much, but I couldn't resist to eat it all. But before i had this experience, the outside was not that attractive. All the lights from the logo were off, I drive in front of it and thought it was closed. Then I stopped, get off the car and finally see someone walking inside. The entrance wasn't that clean, a large box with a lot of cigarettes butts, not too nice for a non smoker like me and also for the kids. I had no issue at all with the service, the food and the inside. I will go again soon and will update my review accordingly.

I enjoyed my night here. The food was really good. The portions were enough and the service was amazing. The music and TV were not overly loud as they often are in locations. The only difficulty I had was that the table I was sitting at was quite dark and I actually had to use my phone to light the menu to order; a very small complaint. The washroom door made me hesitate to touch it going in as I wasn't sure whether it was just well used or dirty but the washroom itself was very clean. I would return here without hesitation.

There was an error without order and after calling in to report it the manager Tammy, who just started her shift, was not only super pleasant but apologetic. She rectified the situation with ease. I will definitely be coming back/ ordering from this location! I'd give 6 stars if I could! Also all staff answering the phones were super helpful, polite and hospitable

Placed an order online through the website for pick up. Was super upset about the missing items and how they made one of the items we ordered. We called and spoke to a male manager who was sent helpful. Re called later and spoke to the manager tammy. She was extremely helpful and resolved our issue. Kindest manager I’ve ever spoken to at any location. Will definitely be re ordering and going in due to her amazing kindergarten.

My boyfriend and I go here often which may be an understatement. We love it here. Never a bad time. Waitstaff are always 10/10, food is so damn good. Made a joke we may set up camp in the parking lot. 5 stars 100% would go there everyday if I could.

So impressed with the staff!! My daughter has several food allergies. A lot of restaurants can be rude or put out and unhelpful. Our server was amazing! She brought out a binder that literally had all of the ingredients for every item on the menu, including an allergy guide. She was so kind and helpful and did not once make us feel like an inconvenience!! Thank you!!

Food was fine however Boston pizza is considered a family restaurant and we have our grand daughter with us who requires a high chair...this chair that showed up hadn't been cleaned since it was made....absolutely nasty i wouldn't let my dog use this thing...it truly had every bit of food stuck to it from every kid that had used it...after the whole Covid scare and what it did the the food industry...youd think they would address something as simple as a plastic chair..Disappointed in a large chain to allow this...

Our food was absolutely delicious, and our service was great. Overall the atmosphere was good. The only negative feedback I have is that some staff seemed really low energy and had no sense of urgency as it got busy when we were finishing up. We will be back!

I go here for lunch once a month with a friend. Excellent food and Sophia, our server is perfect. You can't find a better server. If she is not there my friend and I go somewhere else. She makes our lunch more enjoyable. She is pleasant and always has a smile on her face. She now knows what our order is. Excellent food, excellent service, what more do you want? Thank You Boston Pizza you have a real gem in Sophia!

Had dinner here tonight. Ordered salad and pizza. Cesar salad was good but pizza was warm not hot when i specifically asked when ordering to have our pizza temp hot. We got pizza was just warm not to my satisfaction. Asked server if he can warm it up which he did still came out warm to cold. Server never came back to ask if everything was good or ask if we needed things until we finished pizza. I told him how unhappy I was about pizza and to mention this to the manager Don't know if he did. I usually come to this place never had problems won't be returning. He could have offered something to compensate for poor pizza but he didn't just said maybe something is wrong with oven.

There was a mix up with staff , after being seated we waited almost 15 min for someone else to acknowledge us. And then the service continued to be slow. They were not busy, that was not the problem. I will definately make the drive to the Gkendale location going forward and not make the mistake of using Ontario Street location.

Wow! I placed an order for pick up. It was ready right away. All I can say is good thing I checked it. Chicken fingers were plain, I ordered Buffalo and as always I was missing dipping sauce. The kid didn't understand the receipt that I had paid for 3 extra sauces. Also they gave me the Buffalo sauce on the side. (Umm no do your job and toss them please!!!) Finally an older server came and sorted it all out. Both the kid and the cook had their masks well below nose. Not a good experience.

Incredibly rude staff and the owner, Rob Phillips, that doesn't know how to do his job and treat customer's with respect. I had an issue where I went in with a friend, and i medically cannot wear a mask and mostly everywhere I go respects this and accepts it. Well not Boston pizza. I walk in and say "hello how are you?" to the older lady at the door. Her response and first words to me were "where's your mask?" I reply with I cannot wear one due to medical reasons. She responds "nope, I cannot serve you without a mask". I respond with the bylaw saying that those who cannot wear a mask are medically exempt. She asks me for proof. I tell her she is not allowed to ask me why I cannot wear a mask or to show proof. She tells me and my friend, who was wearing a mask, to leave. We took our business down the road to Jack Astor's where we were treated with respect and acceptance and the best Chicken Parmigiana I've ever had! I ended up contacting Boston Pizza corporate about my experience and the owner emailed me back and all he said was "masks are mandatory at this location to protect everyone..." I replied that he did not address the fact I had mentioned I was treated very rudely in front of everyone and was told to leave although I was being nothing but kind. His response was "I don't know what your looking for... (clearly not reading my previous email because I had said right in it how he didn't address the rude staff)... Masks are our policy and we're sticking to it." Again not addressing the rude staff member and how she made me feel. I literally had to send him an email with a response I'm looking for from him, apologizing that I was treated wrong and how going forward he would talk to his staff to treat everyone with kindness and respect. And then at the end I mentioned I shouldn't have to do your job for you. He keeps emailing me with harassing and rude emails (see pictures). This whole experience showed me 1) masks are more important than customer service and 2) they have a very incompetent owner

Buffalo cauliflower was so much tastier than the last time I had it. Service was friendly and quick. Great dinner overall!

This specific location is fantastic well let nice entrance great staff especially the waitress she's awesome it's close to amenities around town and it's got a nice big bar clean bathrooms... And the chef Cooks everything beautifully everything myself my uncle and my aunt and my kids ate here a few times was superb really really superb and quick and hot when I got to the table. I eat here everyday if I could ..lol The seafood spicy seafood jambalaya I think it's called amazing.. so is the beef dip and the sandwiches all very good.

We had dinner on a Thursday night, I had the candied pecan salad and it was amazing. The presentation was beautiful and it was absolutely delicious.

Great food, great drinks, great service and a nice atmosphere. Have ordered take out, delivery, and eatan in. Each way has always been good. Will definitely be back.

Sophia H was not a friendly server. She had an attitude right from the moment she took us to our table. We asked for a simple request for her to wipe our tables and she pretty much rolled her eyes at our table as if it was a big deal because there was dirt that we wanted cleaned up. She didn't care to remove our finished dishes from our table when she "checked in" on our table a few times. I came to this location because my previous location starting slipping in standard. But, I will not be returning to this location or recommending it to anyone as the experience was not acceptable. I did the survey on the back of the receipt on Tuesday, August 16 and they said within 2 business days that I would hear back from a manager. It's now 3 days later and still no response from their management team.

This afternoon I met a friend for a catch up at Boston Pizza on Ontario St. She was running late so I ordered a drink and sat inside for a bit. It was such a nice day I decided to go outside to the patio. We chatted for a while and then ordered some takeout to take home. When my bill came the waitress told me that one of the men who were at the bar while I was waiting had bought my drink for me. Unfortunately he was gone by the time we left so I had no way to thank him for his kindness. It brightened my day and gave me new faith that there are still kind people here who don't need recognition for kind acts. All I can say is thank you so much for your thoughtfulness and generosity. 🙏🙏🙏

Fantastic service. I walked in want to pay for my order. I saw at least three stuff was available. But they just chatting with each other. I look at them and they saw me but all they do is just turn their head away then keep chatting. The best service ever

Stopped in for dinner, there was 5 of us, waitress took 15 minutes to come over and ask us for drinks, ordered drinks and food too, again it took her almost 15 minutes to bring our drinks. The food was delicious, so she never came back and asked us if everything was OK or if we wanted another round of drinks, very poor service, and it took her forever to bring the bill. Again horrible service!!!

We stopped in on Saturday night and the restaurant was very busy. They have an amazing staff and management team that delivered to all of our needs. The food tasted so good and they have great deals on alcohol. My family and I will definitely return the next time we’re in the area.

Our waiter (Colin) had great service! and joined in on our bridal song for our friend who’s getting married in the summer as he gave her a free brownie and congratulated her! We almost convinced him to buy a stag and doe ticket!!! We are looking forward to going back not only to try and convince him to buy one but for the genuine positive energy he brought to the table and of course the great food! 10/10 experience!!!
