I went for dinner with 4 others friends..we were seated and given menus to place our orders and so we did. After placing our meals orders of 4 T bone steak a long with appetizer and drinks the waitress went away and came back to inform us that we can’t stay because we had empty beer can on our table that was not purchased inside the restaurant.. Its ridiculousness that host meet and seated us with beer can in our hands and never said anything.. I really don’t want to think that we were racially profiled..

Ordered a med rare steak. When food came my steak was cold in the middle and cooked blue. Mentioned it to our server who brought it to the owners attention. Who said he can either reheat the rest and bring it back or give a small discount. Don't want to bring it home to eat later and am not staying for an extra 25 min after my table had finished eating so that I can eat my dinner. Server was great. owner and management not so much.

The food was excellent. The service was horrible. Forgot to put lobster tails with our meals. Then waited 15 minutes for them by that time I was finished my meal. And nobody wanted to make it a better experience. Even the manager said you eat it you pay for it. It was included with the meal. Had to ask for cutlery, drinks. Poor service.

The food and appetizers came 40 min late. The food was cold. The manager does not like negative feedback. The wine did not taste good, it tasted like vinegar, we asked to change it. They gave us a hard time. Come on guys we are out to enjoy our time. Bad attitude

This was the worst restaurant I've ever ordered from... it came as a surprise as I thought this place is quite popular. All the food was sub par. The burgers we got looked like McDonald's burgers. We ordered steak bites as an app.. it was definitely liver! Worst experience. Will never return.

The place was great. We only tried the appetizer because we wanted to drink lots of drought beer. The loaded cheese fries was the good combination with our beer. The staffs were friendly and accommodating.

Great food, the half price apps are such a great deal. even better service though, the host Hollie was so friendly at the door. I was served by a gentleman with the same name as me (Ethan) and he was amazing. When you go there definitely ask for him you won’t regret it.

The chicken was tough and dry. The ribs were average. The fries were among the worst I've ever had . Tough and tasteless My server was great. I doubt I'll be back Way too loud with TV's and unpleasant loud music. Too bad , I used to think this place was good. The one in Niagra falls is far superior

Had the pleasure of being served by Ethan. Such a wonderful server. Very kind and attentive despite the busyness of the restaurant! We went for the 1/2 off appetizers after 9pm and they are such a good deal! Great food for the price :) Definitely will be back!

My prior experience I had at this restaurant really lowered my expectations... I came in with this mindset. When we were greeted at the door and shown to our table the girl doing this seemed miserable and she hated her life. We sat down and a different girl came for our drink order, before I had a chance to tell her we wanted appetizers she was gone and never saw her again. Well from time to time we did she was walking around avoiding eye contact looking miserable... And then a friendly face came over to see if we have been checked looked after, his name was Darian, we asked him to take over our table. He was friendly, funny and actually turned out entire experience and evening around. He was amazing and probably the only reason I would come back to this location. Food was pretty good also..but Darian for the win. If you go to this location ask for him and you will be pleased. 5 million stars for him.

I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed my lunch here. I had previously been to another Chucks Roadhouse and was disappointed in the quality of the food, and so was a bit apprehensive about this visit. I am happy to say that it was delicious. I had a burger with fries, the one I chose did not have the sauce I wanted, when I asked for it there was no problem. I very rarely eat the bun, however this time I was enjoying it so much that I devoured it all. The wine was very nice too. Well I can honestly say that I very seldom manage a desert in a restaurant, however when I saw the Sticky toffee pudding, with pecans, Caramel sauce And Ice cream!!! How could I resist. Super delicious. The best is yet to come, the price!! It was incredible. Friendly service too. I will definitely be back.

So, let me start off by saying, the reason for these two stars, and she is definitely 5 star worthy, was the nice lady Mel who takes care of my grandparents on a weekly basis here at this location. Other than that, I was honestly Appalled but what I had dealt with on the weekend of my birthday, and specifically my birthday dinner here at chucks! I originally chose this place, as it is close to home, great food and good service, and affordable too of course! However, after receiving two meals that were not up to standard, one specifically was a steak that was well over cooked, we asked for a simple replacement. I have worked in the industry for 6 years myself as a cook, and it happens ALL the time. At the end of the day, customer is always right, and you do what you can to maintain your customer satisfaction. In this instance, JAMIE, the so called manager, came back with a picture of the steak in the back kitchen, claiming “ In there kitchen lighting, it is cooked exactly the way you wanted”. Not only is that absolutely disgusting of a manager, but the food was improperly cooked. It blew my mind and from that moment we got our bills, and celebrated the rest of my birthday at a restaurant down the road. For what it’s worth, this $5 dollar piece of meat, could have saved a table of 13 customers for a lifetime. But apparently Jamie thought otherwise. Please reach out to me if possible. Thank you again for the experience. My meal was delicious, aside from this experience.

This is quite a nice roadhouse, the menu is delicious, good selection of beers and cocktails. The best part is the desserts, service and the more than reasonable prices. Six adults and two kids over 7 ate for $206.00

I eat here two-three times a week , to the point that some staff know me by name , and my likes, great staff, good food & atmosphere . Two comment though , put a cheesecake and toppings on the menu ( please , pretty , please ) I am looking at my bill right now as I am in the St. Catharines site ( hi to the great staff ) and I although I can kind of understand the “ Honest to goodness fee” being were I am , it kind of rings as Niagara Fall hidden charge , you know like your room’s $ 275.00 per night , plus the hidden charge of $ 40.00 to park your car on their property. There’s my rant. Overall always enjoy my food and my experience here - your staff makes the place , keep them & keep feeding me 😁🧔🏼‍♂️

A Harley can give you a lot of fun, but Chuck's can make you full of goodness. Their evening is great with chicken wings at half price and unlimited non-alcoholic drinks. Well, $4- a mug for beer is another treat for drinkers.

I don't know about you, but to me any place I can find a 20oz porterhouse steak for $25 is an absolute win, especially in 2021 and especially when they also know how to cook it properly. Not to mention their $4 mixed drinks and $5 cocktails. This is a win on all fronts! As if that wasn't good enough, they always have some kind of deal going on. And just in case you missed it on the menu and aren't up in arms when your bill comes, they also have something called an 'honest to goodness' fee which is a 3% fee that gets added on to the pretax bill ($2.25 on a $75 bill) that I will gladly keep paying and way worth it for everything you're getting.

Good serving sizes, excellent prices. Go after 9 for half price appetizers with a drink. An excellent way to end the day. The surrounding area isn't much to look at, but this atmosphere is friendly.

Chuck's Roadhouse was a great place to eat in. We visited while the restriction framework was in the Red Zone. There was a 25min wait but we had arrived at peak dinner time and happily sat in the car while waiting to be called . Time flew by! Upon entry, Chuck's has a large dining room with a great flow especially over by the fireplace and big windows. I noticed lots of patio tables outside clearly ready to be used in the summer season. Our waitress/server was very friendly and checked up on us quite often. She was able to offer suggestions on the menu and advise about what items contained. The food was great! We had mozzarella sticks which were a bit small but still incredible. They were served with a white sauce instead of marinara sauce which was odd but it was good. We had the peppercorn steak with a side of onion rings. It was cooked properly and full of flavour. We also tried the smokehouse burger with fries and gravy. It is topped with onion rings and we added some of the gravy from our fries to it - best decision ever. For sure will be back! Can't wait to try more if the menu.

Do not! I repeat do not get the chicken Parm. I don't know why I decided to get it at a steak place but the past was old dry and rubbery and the sauce was sour and from a can. Definitely not greasy sweet and homemade. Chuck's...time to remove this from the menu.

I went to dinner with two other people. We all ordered something different. Two of us left our meal. We both had chicken but two different menu items. Both disliked the chicken and left on plate. 3rd person enjoyed meal Great atmosphere and friendly service. Fries were tasty.

It’s a very relaxed and homely feeling. Food tastes great and service is awesome. My favourite item is the loaded fries. Recommend trying the butter toffee pudding. It’s a rich delight.

Very poor quality food and drinks. Sangria tasted like water, no fresh fruits in it (only lemon, lime and canned cherry) and the Wings, Rings & Fingers wasnt worth $20! There was food flies all around our table when asked to change our table it took 15 mins to get the server's attention. The wings were dry from inside and the chicken fingers tasted like it was sitting from morning and reheated. First and last visit. Not going back!

We usually end up coming here after participating in a gymnastics tournament nearby. It's one of a few restaurants open late. The food was decent and the service was okay. Normally, our group consists of about 20 people so if they don't know you're coming, it is hard for them to accommodate you being all together. Best to make reservations if you have that many people.

It was a busy Saturday evening, and we waited about 10 minutes to be seated. Although the place was packed, service was great. Our order was taken and the food arrived really fast. I had the surf and turf. My sirloin steak was cooked as I asked, and was really tasty. The lobster tail was a bit on the chewy side, maybe overcooked. The baked potato was the best I have had in a long time. My hubby enjoyed his Smokehouse burger and my brother enjoyed the ribs. Both said they were great. We appreciated that we could get an alcohol free beer. Good size portions, value for money.

Good food, good price, and good mood! I love its steak. You should try the sweet potato fries instead of regular fries. Also, appetizers are half price after 9 pm! (The dessert toffee nut pudding is really yummy)

We had an excellent server, very friendly and attentive. The burger & fries were perfect as well as the side gravy. My wife upgraded her fries to Caesar salad which was delicious too. We’ll be back soon.

Close to the QEW, large capacity or intimate dining options. We went with a group of 4 people everyone ordered something different, and the food was great across the board. Service was very friendly and jokes with us. Would have given a 5 for atmosphere but we were put next to a window with a massive crack in it.

We had a fantastic meal here. Love the atmosphere and collection of tv’s. Wait time during what I would call busy dinner was quick. Our server Gianna was absolutely lovely to us. She was attentive and very friendly. Will absolutely return in a matter of weeks and will request Gianna’s section but if she’s not I’ll happily take a different section as everyone is so nice.

Today, Dec.19 2022 our group of eight, came for lunch at 12:30. The building was SOOOO cold, we asked the server if anything could be done. Our group ate and chatted until 3:00, and we didn't notice that it became any warmer . Out of eight people, each one said the food was "just O.K." I ordered the Caesar salad with grilled chicken. The grilled chicken had not been heated, and my pieces had many dry, hard edges, that I couldn't eat. Then there is the issue of charging the " honest to Goodness fee" of 3%. None of us had ever heard of this before. One person questioned it, the server said it was head office way of keeping the prices down. Well.... guess what ... that won't work, once people catch on. You have lost our party of eight.

Should be 1 star but 2 stars because the atmosphere was nice. Don't order the wings!!!!!!!! I received my wings and it looked like a bowl of soup, just swimming in sauce, which just tasted off. Most of the legs more like a chicken nugget as the drum stick was missing. Just a bad experience. Others had burger and Fries, both frozen, I think everything is boxed not freshly made on site. Better options out there!

I was very surprised by this establishment. We had been completely disappointed by the Mississauga location and vowed never to return. My son's friends wanted to go to this location with his friends, so we all went. Completely opposite side of the spectrum. Quick service Enjoyable staff. FANTASTIC FOOD Cheap fair pricing. Chucks reasonable price menu items with drink specials. Steak is not quite like the Keg and little on thin side. Service is attentive but might wait a bit for drinks if busy. Overall a reasonable price family restaurant

I used to be a regular at Chuck’s before Covid. I’ve been back a few times since Covid restrictions lifted. I remember fall off the bone ribs. Tonight was the 2nd time I’ve had chew off the bone ribs. I’ve been to many restaurants, this is the 1st time I’ve had beer served that made me ask for a glass.

Really enjoyed the prime rib, bacon and cheese burger. The price was right and the staff were curtios. Thank you, I will be back for sure

Been once to this location for half priced apps. Food was fine, the same as most locations. Price always affordable. They were out of the spinach dip unfortunately, but that’s not really the issue. They seated us on the makeshift patio during the summer time. They had a bit of a skunk issue near the sidewalk. Assuming it’s due to the amount of tables that were left un-bussed, and leftover food from other customers being left out attracting them. We ate with caution, making sure to look around that one wasn’t wandering close to our table. Not sure if it was a really off day, but I’m also not sure that we will be back to this location in the future.

I went to Chucks last night Monday December 27, 2021. I had a gift card. I ordered there special the surf and turf.. Well IM VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH MY LOBSTER!! it was so rubbery, that my teeth couldn't even bite through it and my knife could barely get through it...it smelt so gross when I open my food I had to leave room for family to eat. Absolutely gross!!! I've been here before lots... I might not be coming back depends how they handle this... Also due to covid there was 20 people in restaurant so not like they are busy.

So to start off with the Staff did a very good job trying to make the dining experience as pleasant as possible that's why they got two stars. But the core of the meal was undercooked steak, steak that was supposed to be cooled medium rare was still showing white fat on the steak and was basically blue in the middle. The tables are pretty small, looks like capacity was the name of the game. Also don't expect root beer to be refillable, they don't tell you that and charge you for them anyway. The buffalo chicken quesadilla was under seasoned, and the appetizers were generally just not put together well. The experience overall was a let down, I would much rather travel the extra distance and visit the Niagara Falls location. There's a lot more room and the food was much better. Even the location in Oshawa I visited was much better than this restaurant.

Amazing place to eat, take out. Food is absolutely amazing and the prices are astonishing. Particularly, the restaurant in St. Catharines is just great. The owner/manager is awesome and the service is with no doubt one of the best I do not have any complaints about this place

Service was good. Steak cooked properly but way way too much salt. Loaded baked potato had scant toppings even though paying extra. The “Honest to Goodness” charge of 3% on the entire bill is sneaky if you’ve never been there before so prices are not really the prices. The air conditioning was excessive to the point we were all chilly. It was August so we were dressed fir summer. Bring a sweater.

My fiancee and I went here for a date night after the lockdown and it was a fantastic meal. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and very well seasoned. Great service as well. We will be back for sure.
