This truly must be one of Canada’s best dining experiences. Absolutely stunning 8-9 courses filled with farm to table local offerings. Won’t ruin too much of the surprise (and the menu is bound to change frequently) but the Linton pork, lobster, and golden beets were highlights amongst an entire meal of highlights. Wine pairings were impeccable- mix of international, local, and Pearl Morisette wines. The juice pairings (for the drivers and non drinkers) were excellent and not to be scoffed at. You can order some bottles of their own wine from the bottle shop to leave with at the end of the meal. Impeccable, friendly service on par with some of the finest restaurants around the world, beautiful decor, and very respectful of social distancing. Truly an experience worth the drive and worth every penny.

This review is on their lunch. Food Presentation: 5 Food Portion: 3 Food Tastiness: 4 Service: 4.5 Juice pairing: 4 Average cost per person during our visit: $250 ( with 20% tips) Value: 4 "Local" and "earthy" are the two words I would think of on top of my head in describing the theme of the food presented. Ingredients were all from local farms if not their own garden. The taste is light overall but always with at least one ingredient that accentuates the dish and presents a contrasts. The esthetics and presentation of the dishes were good- everything was delicately prepared. Their sour dough bread was very well liked by everyone at my table. Aside from the fact that it tastes good, it was quite necessary given the portion of the tasting menu is a bit smaller than we expected. Perhaps it is also becuz the food tasted great we felt we couldn't have enough of it. The juice pairing was an interesting concept and we liked the idea. There was a juice for every two dishes, and $45 for 4 glasses of juice in total. I personally liked two out of the 4 more than the rest, but all 4 paired surprisingly well with the food and both the food and the drink tasted different and better together. Overall: pleasant experience and wouldn't mind going again. However given its location, cost, and small portion, I would recommend this place more to those who highly value culinary art and those who are not big eaters

This is a very nice restaurant near Niagara Fall but it is very hard to book. We were at their warm and cozy patio, in mid November, 2021. Their tasting menu was $137 per person, good portion. Service was excellent, they explained every dishes. Good wine selection as well.

RPM is a refreshing take on food. The food was innovative and the flavours were sophisticated. The dishes were thoughtful, such as using peach tree leaves to mimic the taste of almonds. Some dishes were seemingly simple, such as the cod in a purée, but due to the technique and the ingredients, they still felt otherworldly. I would highly recommend the juice pairing as it added an extra layer of complexity to the flavours. We went during lunch and ate on the patio; the atmosphere was unpretentious (which I appreciated) and very rustic (there was literally a cow roaming around in the back). I would also highly recommend the farm tour if it's available; it was extremely interesting to see how RPM grows its food (totally organically mimicking natural cycles of decay and growth and optimizing for flavour instead of yield). Just walking around the RPM farm and tasting many of their ingredients is an incredible experience in itself.

I can see why PM is one of the best restaurants in Canada. The food is very fresh, lots of amazing vegetables to go with the meal, flavors are very complex and very different. The wine pairing was spot on as well. Service was great! Highly recommend to try at least once! The price per person was great considering the experience and one-of-a-kind dishes you are served. I recommend you book a tour with your dinner.

I would give this Restaurant more stars if I could. This is one of my favourite restaurants ever. The food is absolutely delicious, the staff are amazing, and the dining experience is just wonderful. I couldn’t give this place more praise. I highly recommend getting the juice pairing with the food. I’ve been here twice and got the juice pairing both times. I would describe the juice pairing with each dish as hitting the same note and really easing the transition between the flavours of the food and the juice. If you have the opportunity to eat at this fine dining establishment then do it! You won’t be disappointed!

I can say with absolute confidence that this was the best food I’ve ever eaten! Every single dish was a masterpiece. I went here with my partner over the weekend for his birthday, and we had an absolutely incredible experience. We added the wine pairing and we were both blown away by their selections and are still talking about it! We did the Farm Tour as well and I cannot recommend it enough! We had an absolute blast touring the farm, getting to know more about their process, and we even got try some plants/veggies before our meal. Overall, we would come back here in a heartbeat, do the farm tour and the wine pairing again! The service was absolutely impeccable, the staff is thoughtful, knowledgeable and took the whole experience to another level. Truly grateful to have dined here, definitely an experience we’ll never forget!

Such a beautiful restaurant - the layout was aesthetically pleasing and the view from the restaurant was lovely - you can see the vineyard stretch out from the windows. We had a special event dinner with the Skippa chef, Ian Robinson, and it was amazing. The best tofu I've ever had. The meal as a whole was delicious; the pairings were a variety of Pearl Morissette wine, international wines, and sake; and the service was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and personable, we had a fantastic experience for our first time! Will definitely be back.

My husband and I were very excited to try PM and were definitely not disappointed. Each farm to table dish was incredibly flavourful and although each portion is small, we left more than full. The service from everyone was top notch and the wine pairing added to our exceptional experience. I also appreciated that the kitchen was able to accommodate my vegetarian request.

My husband and I have been wanting to dine at RPM for many years, with the pandemic getting in the way and life, we were finally able to attend for our one year wedding anniversary. First off, Robin whom I had communicated with years ago with our original reservation, honoured our previous deposit and went above and beyond to ensure it was reflected on our reservation, bill, and to our server. We attended the garden tour with Shane, and it was unbelievably informative. Shane was down to earth and extremely knowledgeable, I was blown away by his passion and dedication to the property. The ability to taste, smell, and touch almost everything truly made the experience dining later that much more special. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND attending the tour before dining to get the full experience. Upon entering the facility to dine, I loved the decor & atmosphere. Everyone was kind and welcoming. The food was phenomenal and again understanding the farm to table concept made it that much more enjoyable. The flavours incorporated into the dishes were unique, fresh, and seasonal. Hats off to the kitchen. Our server Jessica was EXTREMELY knowledgeable, she guided us through our meal with her drink suggestions and truly made this experience special. She is passionate, warm, and a delight. Overall. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and have already started planning our next visit! Thank you RPM

What a wonderful dining experience. Every dish was beautifully presented and introduced by staff. Everything tasted so flavourful and well thought out. Standouts for me were the mussels with fennel and caviar and sablefish. No misses, everything was delicious but those were my favourites. Definitely want to come back!

A really beautiful experience from start to finish. We went for lunch on an unseasonably warm November Sunday. We wandered the farm ahead of time and it was very charming to see the ducks, chickens and cows. The service was attentive, but not pretentious. They were accommodating to my husband's dislike of fish, subbing out beef. I enjoyed listening to the servers explain the dishes and wine pairings, they have lovely attention to detail. It was a very decadent experience and I would recommend it.

I enjoyed a lovely dinner at Restaurant Pearl Morissette, it is a French inspired fine dining restaurant that serves up a tasting menu using regional ingredients. The atmosphere was very intimate but not over crowded in the Scandinavian style renovated barn. The food was well prepared with a complex use of ingredients, some of the sauces really elevated the dishes. Highlights of the evening were the bison tartare, west coast mussels and pasture raised pork. The standout dishes were the warm sourdough bread and pear tart the sake rice ice cream was next level. Overall everything else was good but there was room for improvement, for example the halibut and lobster was a little overcooked. I understand that food costs have increased significantly, the scallop and beef dishes I felt were a bit small, I personally would have preferred to be charged more to get more protein to really balance the dishes. The service was very professional serving food at a good pace and taking the time to answer any questions we had. I really appreciated the attention to detail ensuring our water glasses were never less than half full, asking if we needed a refresh on our drinks or bread and my favourite touch at restaurants the cleaning up of crumbs. One minor nitpick was we felt a little rushed at the end of our meal, our bill was brought to us before we were offered any coffee or tea, we were hoping to be caffeinated before our long drive home. Overall it was a great dining experience and a few improvements would have made it spectacular.

RPM ... one of the best dining experiences we have enjoyed in a long time. If I could give them 10 stars in every category, I sincerely would. Or even better yet, can somebody notify the folks at the Michelin Guide, and inform them that this treasure of a restaurant deserves a star or two? Our dinner at Restaurant Pearl Morisette was one of the most sublime dining experiences, which we were ever part of. Our senses were not prepared at the gastronomic onslaught, which was presented to us all throughout our meal. The tasting menu consisted of around ten “smaller" plates/portions (those who have dined under “tasting menus" at other establishments, are familiar with this concept), and every single offering was perfectly prepared and presented. I accompanied my meal with their wine pairings, and both were magically matched. I do not recall the names of the dishes, which is not even all that important, as their menu changes rather frequently, and I am certain it is already different from what we were presented with. Abandon all expectations of what you are used to, and do yourself a favor (perhaps when you wish to celebrate a special milestone or achievement) … and be ready to be amazed by visiting one of the best restaurants in Canada. We drove down from Waterloo just to experience RPM, and we would gladly do it all over again. Bravo, RPM … Bravo. PS. Save a little room for their sourdough bread. It is baked daily at their sister establishment "RPM Bakehouse", and from the taste, flavour, and quality of the bread (and their to-die-for butter), you would think that they have angels baking their bread. We didn't have time to visit the Bakehouse, but we will next time we're near Jordan, and we'll grab a loaf or two.

What an incredible experience! The food and service were exceptional. Was so happy they could adjust the menu for dietary restrictions. Myself and my husband will definitely come back. Would love to experience the menu during a different season!

Wow, what a glorious experience! Since moving to the region, Pearl Morissette has been on my list (obviously) and the timing finally aligned so my husband and I were able to visit on my birthday, October 12. From the moment we walked in, Tony greeted us with the local warmth and hospitality we’ve come to love in the area. His presence showed ownership and yet a gentle demeanor that was happy to be making the nights of every diner. The food was undoubtedly some of Canada’s best. Full of flavor, creativity, and thoughtful presentation. We had some incredible wine that the sommelier helped us pick out, as he generously spent some time also showcasing some of Pearl’s own wines. Thank you so much to Tony and the team for all of their hard work and kindness! While the restaurant itself is enough of a draw for a return visit, it’s Tony and the other team members who made the night so very special.

RPM has been on my list for well over a year and a bit but never got the chance to make the drive out until today! Luckily, they did a collab with the Aburi Hana team a couple of months back which really spurred the need to dedicate an evening to drive and have dinner under their roof. As they showed in their collab event, they truly are a wonderful experience. They follow a rule of thumb of only using Canadian-sourced ingredients, many of which are grown a couple of meters away! We had a 10 course meal and absolutely loved it. Among the highlights included their mains of pork and trout, as well as the mini potato appetizer. The pork was especially good, the texture was unlike any tenderloin I had so far! We opted for the non alcoholic beverage pairing, which paired great with their dishes. The staff are a delight and you can tell how proud they are of the culinary experience they deliver! I was hoping they’d be introduced in the Michelin Awards this year but I guess the inspectors have yet to truly look at the restaurants outside the GTA. If they did, I believe RPM would be at the top of their list!

Had the spring tasting menu (7 savoury + 3 sweet) and it was easily the best fine dining experience we’ve had in Canada. From view to food to service all top-tier.

One of the best tasting experiences in town. Love how everything is locally sourced, seasonal and freshly made. Definitely reco to add in the wine pairing to elevate the experience.

Lovely restaurant if you are in the Niagara region. You have to look out for the large red cardinal on the side of the round. They don’t have a sign on the round so it’s easy to miss. The interior is nice with a simple chic vibe. We had lunch so it was very bright inside. The waiters and waitresses are great. The food is really good especially the deserts. Would definitely go again.

What an exceptional dining experience! This was our third dinner and, although each visit has been wonderful, this one truly blew me away. Each course competed with the last and was accented superbly by the wine pairings. Some of the pairings truly elevated the flavor palate. The sommelier and chef are game changers. They are taking food culture to another level. Very grateful to have this caliber of restaurant in Niagara.

A unique experience where they took a simple farm to table concept and turned it into a fine dining experience. The service, presentation and atmosphere was immaculate! If you are looking for a restaurant that throws truffle and caviar on everything this is definitely not the place but if you want to try something creative, highly recommend.

Without a doubt one of the best meals you have. Every time a dish came out I thought “this is the best dish”. Not a single disappointment. My personal favorites were the geoduck with wild rice crisp, the celery root and the quince tart. But choosing favorites was next to impossible. The meal was constructed perfectly from start to finish. The whole experience from the land/property to the staff and restaurant itself. With all the high class “top 100” and/or Michelin restaurants I’ve been to its easy to blend in sometimes. Not Pearl Morissette. They stood out amongst the best of the best. I will be back.

This restaurant deserves a Michelin star! Prefixed blind menu that takes you on an exciting journey! All the plates were fresh and amazing. The wine pairing is optional but highly recommended.

…a true farm to table experience in the middle of wine country. A thoughtful menu of carefully crafted dishes make this tasting menu experience the best dining experience in Ontario. Indulge in the wine pairings; it’s a must do.
