We had a fantastic lunch in this very elegant restaurant. Each of the nine courses was delicious and splendidly presented. The service was excellent and the servers informative without being overbearing. A completely enjoyable experience.

Updating this review. What an exceptional dining experience! This was our third dinner and, although each visit has been wonderful, this one truly blew me away. Each course competed with the last and was accented superbly by the wine pairings. Some of the pairings truly elevated the flavor palate. The sommelier and chef are game changers. They are taking food culture to another level. Very grateful to have this caliber of restaurant in Niagara.

Incredible experience at Pearl Morissette just now. Lunch was FANTASTIC. We celebrated my birthday and loved the uniqueness of the place: ambience, service, FOOD, the pre set menu, cheese as a highlight along with the desserts, all was fabulous. The only thing is that they don’t do anything special for birthdays. Yet, I guess being there is already very special 🥳 Thank you, PM, for a fantastic experience. Service is fabulous. Anna & Family

One of the best meals we've had in Ontario. The staff was attentive without being overbearing, the setting was stellar. We had previously tried one of the wines at a Hamilton restaurant that was fantastic, however the viognier that we tried at the restaurant was on a whole other level. The chef came out to present and talk about what each dish was comprised of which was a great touch. My girlfriend is a chef and i'm a food photographer so we eat out a lot and this was all in all one of the best places in this country we've ate at. Between the quality of the wine and the attention to detail of the whole experience it's was great all around. We will definitely be back, many thanks to the whole Pearl Morissette crew and thank you!

After trying to get reservations for months, our party of 4 were excited to experience the restaurant. We chose to do the wine pairing with the 10 course meal. The entire experience was totally overblown and over rated. Out of the ten courses I would say we truly enjoyed half of them. The bread from their bakery was probably the best item for the evening. That’s was really special! Although our server seemed very knowledgeable we felt she was extremely condescending throughout the entire evening. We were there to have fun and it seemed to be frowned upon and even irritating to her when she popped by our table and we talking and laughing when she wanted to check in. The wine parings were quite uneventful for the cost of 115 per person and not adequately explained as to their relevance to each dish. Each plate was literally a bite and although I didn’t expect Olive Garden portions I certainly expected to leave satisfied and full. We popped over to the Jordan Tavern for Pizza afterwards because we were all still hungry. We paid over $ 1400 for the 4 of us and we won’t be back. We have definitely checked this off the bucket list. If you are looking for a better level of service, food quality and presentation, I would strongly suggest you experience Langdon Hall in lieu.

Pearl Morissette is a darling, rustic winery and restaurant. We went there for lunch to celebrate an anniversary, and it was a nice chance to get away from the city to the quiet countryside. The restaurant is set on gorgeous vineyards. The building itself has large windows all around so natural light flows in beautifully. The decor is rustic, and there is just a subtle beauty to the ambiance of the restaurant as a whole. Service was really great - our server was really personable, knowledgeable and patient (even to take photos). Then there was the food - each course was better than the next (Though savoury courses were definitely better than their desserts). Hearty, seasonal farm-to-table. Well seasoned vegetables, and well-cooked meats. All the flavours made sense. Presentation was immaculate, and for what you get, the pricing was really fair. One of our favourite experiences this year!

We were out for an impromptu drive and I had heard the Pearl Morissette winery was lovely, so we found it, and pulled in. Had no CLUE this incredible restaurant had opened just three weeks ago. Tasting menu only....$48 for a 3-course lunch, $78 for 5 courses, includes gratuity! The food was simply phenomenal, as were the space, and service. This is a phenomenal find and we will be back for sure. Make a resi. It's going to be a busy one :)

I would summarize Pearl Morissette as a great food experience. First, the location is very unique and if you come from out of town I recommend staying close overnight, e.g. Inn at 20. The barn and restaurant inside are beautifully designed and warm, yet modern. The atmosphere is welcoming and compared to Toronto so refreshingly normal and different. It is all about the food. Food: fantastic farm to table dinner. Amazingly, changes almost daily. Service: excellent, friendly, attentive, just awesome. Atmosphere: don't want to leave. Drinks: well, the only slight downer, only minimal bar availability, wines are ok. Summary: unique and great food experience. Absolutely recommended.

After much anticipation and hearing so much about this restaurant, my husband and I had our first dining experience at Pearl Morrisette last night. We dined with two other couples. My husband and I are both vegetarian and were told that the chef would do an amazing job to accommodate our dietary needs. This was not the case. Out of the nine course meal we were offered protein options only once. The meat eaters in our group were given a protein in every course. I am accustomed to going to many high end restaurants offering multi course farm to table cuisine and they have ALWAYS been able to creatively provide us with protein options. I asked to speak to the manager last night and he was not very receptive to our dietary needs. His response was that the restaurant is on a summer menu and only offering items that are locally sourced. I didn’t realize that vegetarian protein options can’t be offered on a “summer menu”. The meat eaters in our group were offered fish and scallops from the East Coast, since when is Nova Scotia local ??? If his understanding of local is Canadian, we’ve got Canadian companies that supply TOFU, Beans, lentils etc. The manager proceeded to get defensive and asked me what I would like to be offered…. SERIOUSLY??? I cook and meal plan at home… I didn’t think I’d need to meal plan at a high end restaurant. If Pearl Morrisette claims to be a high end restaurant offering creative dishes they are lacking of insight into a high demand of healthy balanced vegetarian cuisine that adheres to the Canadian Food Guide. Finally after much discussion, the manager asked the chef to see what he could do as an EXTRA course. This is not what we wanted, but he insisted and we were presented with a sunny side up egg in a tart shell, ridiculous. To top it off we were sitting in a tent facing the parking lot, could barely hear the servers and the ambience was a TWO STAR. They could have had candles on the table to make the setting a little nicer. So after my experience last night, I would never go back and would never recommend this restaurant to any vegetarian. Our $500 meal was not worth it .

I went for a multi course dinner with wine pairing, food was okay, some courses were not up to what i would expect. Having been to several Michelin rated restaurants, i would say this place has a ways to go Wine pairings are also not inspiring, some of their wine is just mediocre. Will not be back.

My husband and I enjoyed celebrating our anniversary at this unique culinary restaurant. We loved the blind menu with foraged local foods, fresh vegetables, amazing wine pairings and knowledgeable staff to explain the finer details of the meal. The setting is incredible at a refurbished barn in the beautiful countryside of Jordan. The wines were exceptional. We heard many comments about the small serving sizes and we have absolutely no complaints as we were fully sated “rolling” down the stairs at the end amazed at our fabulous food experience. Congratulations on such a fresh way of looking at providing a meal. We will definitely be back. Back today with my sister and still incredible. What a unique place to visit. Enjoy the food and wine pairing immensely.

If you're in Niagara this is the spot to go. The final bill would probably be similar to any restaurants by the Falls. Beautiful presentation and delicious flavours. However, portions are on the smaller side so you may leave with a not-so-full stomach.

My family have been coming here since opening up . It is the best food experience you will have in your life and add the wine pairing also . I have been around the world and all over the US and Canada . No comparison anywhere . Everyone involved from the gardeners to the chefs to the hostesses etc , it is a team of very passionate people . Must try this place .

Getting a reservation may prove to be a challenge. Rated the fourth best restaurant in Canada. Great ambience and atmosphere. Good front end service for screening for allergies, etc. We choose the wine pairing for the 9 course meal. Wine pourings were disappointing and no real connection was made as to why each wine was chosen for that particular food dish. Service was professional and friendly. The 9 course meal on balance would be a 6 out of 10 ~ and that is being kind (this was the consensus of the four guests at our table). Outdoors fire pits added a nice ambience. It is an experience but once only. Way too expensive for a do over. Sadly not recommended. This would have been 3 star rating if price was commensurate with food value. Hence only 2 stars.

A wonderful staff made this evening exceptional. A few hiccups along the way cost a star but mostly unavoidable due to the wind blowing heavily. Overall so enjoyable and more than I expected

Service is incredible. 5/5 Best service ever. Timing of when things are brought out is amazing 5/5 Ambiance is amazing. 5/5 Wine is amazing 5/5 Areas for improvement and I’m not a foodie but food was more pretty and not yummy. The seafood dishes smelled overly fishy and every dish would offer a larger than life punch of flavor which can be overwhelming. I feel as though strong flavors should be paired with complimenting flavors otherwise the dish knocks you out. Desserts were all goat cheese based. The best food was the sour dough bread and puréed carrot and brown butter dip. I could not even finish the small plates because the flavors were all competing and overwhelming. I would expect dishes to be hot or cold. Not lukewarm. Again I’m not a foodie so I could be off.

😠 Waste of time and money! They were great up front and efficient in booking my appointment. If you need anything extra or if your need is beyond something very basic - they are useless. My initial contact with them was in July 2023 and I’m still waiting for them to follow up and deliver on a service...
