Finally went on my first ghost tour at fort George last night with my son. It was amazing. Kyle was our tour guide and I think he himself made it even more amazing. He's hilarious and a very good story teller. He kept things interesting the whole time. Shout out to Kieran as well who followed and closed up and gave out masks to go into the buildings. He was amazing too. I would definitely go again and I highly recommend. I work at a hotel in Niagara on the lake and I will be telling my guests it's a great tour!

My boyfriend and I went on the first ghost walk of the season. We both highly recommend. Both of us live near the area, but neither of us had visited for the walk before. We didnโ€™t see anything paranormal, however the place definitely had an eerie feel to it even before you walk through the gates. Our guide Kyle was great, and told us a lot of different stories about the area and the ghosts that to this day still haunt it. Also, shout out to the guy who follows the group and goes into the buildings both first and last. We both agreed your job must be pretty creepy in such a place, going in alone! Weโ€™re looking forward to coming back another time to see if we have the opportunity to see anything (maybe around Halloween!).

From the moment my husband and I walked in, we felt an energy shift on the grounds of Fort George. We talked about our experienced on our Youtube channel: The Blairick Project. Our tour guide was enthusiastic, engaging, and spoke upon the history of the Fort, as well as personal experiences he and other employees encountered. It made for a spooky and entertaining evening! Maybe weโ€™ll just have to go back to explore the tunnel after COVID is over.

Took the 8:30pm ghost walk with my wife and we learned a lot with the historic site and ghosts that are still in the area. Sir Bob our guide did a great job telling ghost stories and he made us laugh as well. Over all we are glad that we went we had a good time. I would strongly recommend everyone to go and experience the tour and to support .

Kyle was a fantastic tour guide! Leading up to our private tour he provided consistent and clear communication and answered all my questions. For the tour itself, he was very enthusiastic and an engaging storyteller! We will definitely book another tour in the future!

Was enjoyable for sure. My only beef was lack of access to the creepiest places to be for example the upstairs in the barracks ( saw it years ago in the day). But the coolest building is the officer barracks and the powder keg. Not sure why we couldnโ€™t access those areas as they are the creepiest. Guide was awesome and told great stories. Wish more emphasis on the ghosts was prevalent. Id still recommend for sure.and would go back again if I knew I could see the areas that were restricted.

Ghosts aren't real, but you'll be pale as one after paying these prices... Still, the tour guide had a lot of historical information weaved into the tour so you get at least some entertainment. Response to response: I typically don't leave reviews right away, especially if the experience was bad. I'm not a raving lunatic who needs to instantly complain about bad service. I just don't return. I saw your location advertised on google and remembered my bad experience and posted it for all to see. Or are you now going to say you have never opened before this year? /s

Tour was great! Fun filled candlelight night in the Fort. Kyle was a great story teller and made the experience so much better. Highly recommend this historical yet fun experience as you learn about the region and inhabitants of Fort George.

My husband and I did the Fort George ghost walk on October 13 and had a fabulous time! Pete was absolutely magical - super engaging and a very thorough storyteller. This was a different experience from other ghost walks we've been on because we were able to sit inside the various buildings as Pete was telling the stories about them, which totally amplified the mood. Thanks for a spooky good time!

Our team went on a tour with Kyle and it was INCREDIBLE. He was knowledgable, charismatic and a fantastic story teller. A few of our team members had paranormal-ish experiences but mostly we enjoyed the stories, the history and the bat friend that we made in the tunnels. Could not recommend this experience more highly!

We had a wonderful discussion about the story behind the tours with them. They were very knowledgeable about the history and we look forward to having another tour soon!

Had Kyle I believe, awesome speaker/guide. Well worth the trip and money. Loved learning the history on top of the ghost stories. Tunnel is very creepy. Didn't encounter any activity but hope to one day, went twice last year and hoping to go again this year.

If, like me, you are fascinated by the paranormal and history, then this ghost tour is a must! I've done it twice, the last time just before Hallowe'en, and will definitely go again. The guides are very knowledgeable and entertaining, and the stories fascinating. Although I personally didn't see or experience anything on my visits, I'm hopeful that I will one day! The tunnel is very cool and certainly creepy when inside. Looking forward to the 2023 season!

Went there last night on a date. I forget the name of the tour guide cause I have short term memory loss, but he had some bitchin sideburns and he was very well spoken / authentic / enthusiastic! I actually enjoyed what he had to say lol. Great tour!! Much recommended!

My boyfriend and I had our first ghost walk here. Our tour guide Kyle was fantastic! His passion and connection to Fort George immediately provided us with a sense of connection to the surrounding environment. If my history teachers taught history the way Kyle lead us through it, I would have been much more interested! We unfortunately didn't have any sightings, but Kyle ensured to keep the "creepy" reminders coming lol! He kept a great balance of charisma throughout the night alleviating some tension that his stories caused. The fog at the end was crazy and couldn't have been better timed. I would love to enjoy this ghost walk again. Shoutout to all of the staff that take turns facing the ghosts alone, you're the real heros!

I guess I was expecting something else. What I wanted was a tour of the fort, focusing on the people who lived, worked and died there, and perhaps some connections to sightings as a bonus. What I got, was a very abbreviated fort tour, with limited access to a few buildings, focused primarily on telling stories about previous ghost tours or employees and what they encountered. Guides were professional, entertaining and enthusiastic.

Very fun and entertaining evening with Kyle! We didnโ€™t see any ghosts but learned a ton of interesting history about Niagara and ghosts!

After reading reviews of some people experiencing paranormal activity I decided to attend the tour on Halloween day. Although I didnโ€™t experience any paranormal activity it was definitely a fun and creepy experience. Thank you to our guide Kyle for his amazing storytelling!

Unrelated to your tours but I'd like to share my experience. Couple years ago we had a grade 8 over night trip to fort George. Sleeping inside the barracks that are so claimed to be haunted. That night around 3 in the morning me and my buddy heard the sound of heavy footprints / stomping coming up from down stairs, we at first thought it was a security guard until we realized there was no one there and the guard didn't have access to were we all were sleeping, that brings me to the second encounter of a little girl, throughout the night we heard what we thought to be laughing and what sounded to be someone light/small running around yet when a light was turned on, no one was there. I definitely would suggest people take the tour, the encounters are real, and you may just have one if you are lucky enough

Just came back from a grade 12 trip on Halloween. Site: Fort George is amazing and the care put into the fort is obvious. Everything is well preserved and as clean as a historical site can be. What stands out is how imposing this place is at night. Guides are clear that this is not a place where people will jump out at you and it is obvious when you go there because there is no need. The entrance to the fort alone sets the tone of your tour. Based on that alone I cannot recommend this place enough but the guides also need some props. Guides: The guides are extremely knowledgeable, we had Heather who was phenomenal. She knew her history and effectively balanced historical information with the story of the resident spirits. While it was my first time on this tour I cannot speak to any other tour guides however Kyle introduced our group to the site and he also seemed awesome. It simply means I will need to go back for another visit. If you are looking for something to do in Niagara on the Lake or class trip ideas, I cannot recommend the Ghost Tours enough. It was an awesome experience and I hope to find myself back soon!

I wish the guides had a speaker of some kind so they could be heard in the crowd. I didn't want to ask the guide to speak louder because projected speaking and singing spread breath droplets farther. We are still in a pandemic. I'm sure the guide's storytelling skills were fine. I just couldn't hear them.

I was skeptical at first but wow, it is a SPOOKY haunted town. The facilitator was outfitted in cape, top hat and lantern. He was knowledgeable and told some really great ghost stories! I recommend this ghost Walk!

I went on the tour yesterday and can say it was an enjoyable time. Stories were interesting, architecture of the inner fort was nice, even though it was really just few structures and the tour guide was a funny and engaging fellow. I had believed that stage three of the province reopening would have allowed for more inside exploration of the fort's buildings/tunnels but unfortunately there are still restrictions with that. Foiled again by Corona. Despite that, I still enjoyed the tour and would recommend it. Once I know restrictions have been lifted I plan to hopefully revisit this tour in the future.
