We are so happy that we located this gem of a bed and breakfast. From the warm greeting through the beautiful location and charm from hostess Joyce our day and evening could not have been better. Lovely upper and lower patios to relax and enjoy the scenery of the lake while sipping on a glass of wine. <br/>A very lovely treat of homemade shortbread along with a dram of scotch. As for breakfast we really enjoyed Joyce's spin on French toast after a bowl if fresh fruit followed by a great conversation with Joyce. We shall return here without hesitation.

Joyce was a great host, very organized, room was great and breakfast tasty. The wee whiskey at night was a lovely touch.

Best B&B I have EVER visited. Joyce is definitely the hostess with the mostest. She is very welcoming, makes you feel like family. Very clean. Beautiful view of lake Ontario... Fabulous sunsets. 5 star all the way. Thank you Joyce.

Joyce is an absolute fabulous host! Her breakfasts are delicious, and her company at breakfast makes you feel like you're at home. Rooms are lovely and clean, and the nightly homemade shortbread and dram of whiskey is a real treat! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and highly recommended Tigh-na-Mara. We'll be back!!

What a wonderful visit! Joyce was a superb host and her accommodations were excellent! We spent two nights. She communicated well ahead of our arrival and she welcomed us in with a nice glass of red wine. She offered great input about what we could/should do and when/how to do it. Her advice was spot-on. We were served a delicious breakfast each morning and, each evening, she treated us to scotch and her homemade shortbread. Joyce has a great sense of humor and tells good stories. If we return to the area, we will stay here again. We highly recommend!

Joyce was an excellent host; very warm and welcoming. She has a lovely home and her breakfasts are top notch. The shortbread and whisky each evening are a great bonus too. I would 100% recommend Tigh-na-Mara and I hope to make a return visit soon!

The lady running the b&b is so sweet! My Friends and I (all 19) stayed one night. She had no problem at all with us being that young compared to some other places we called. Furthermore my friend got a bit sick that evening and didnt feel very well. She helped us and even let us use the kitchen to cook burges, which can be quite the mess sometimes. And dispite our offering to clean after we'd eaten she did everything. Not to mention the bathrooms and bedrooms where skeaky clean and the balkony amazing! You couldn't feel more at home outside of home anywhere else.

Absolutely wonderful! This was my husband’s and my 1st ever stay at a B&B and we fell in love. Joyce is wonderful, room was great, and the sunset over the lake was spectacular. Also very close to a beautiful little village with restaurants and shops. Convenient location to Niagara Falls and local wineries. 10 out of 10 would stay here again and highly recommend this B&B!
