My sweet 80+ Mother needed her wedding ring repaired. The quality of the work was excellent. It was done in a timely manner as it was needed for a very special occasion. The price was very reasonable. Thank you for making my Mom so happy!

I bought a paradot ring with small diamonds circling the paradot and thought it was gold until last week and paid about $800?!

DO NOT TRUST THE SALES REPS — I WAS SCAMMED I came in to buy a gift for my mother not knowing much about gemstones. I was “sold” a $600 “blue sapphire” ring (which was on sale from $840). I chose this stone because it sapphire is my mother’s birth stone. Got it evaluated and it turns out it’s AQUAMARINE, a substantially less valuable stone. For $600, I could have gotten an aquamarine stone 4x the size of what I was duped into buying. For example, the stone I purchased is 2mm, while Costco sells a 9mm aquamarine stone ring with a similar 14k gold setting with 0.2kt of diamonds for THE SAME PRICE). I suspect I was singled out because I am a young person who made the mistake of showing up in my university sweater. I implore other young people and couples to avoid this location and to not put their trust in the salespersons. UPDATE: My mother returned the ring today. I asked her not to be specific about the reason for the return and to ask the salesperson what type of gem it was. They are now claiming it is blue topaz, which is another cheap gemstone compared to the $840 blue sapphire I was sold. You can purchase a 10mm blue topaz ring at Costco for $530 dollars, which is a far cry from the 2mm stone I was duped into purchasing for $600. Luckily she was able to get a full refund, but I am still flabbergasted at the willingness of these salespeople to lie. A 2mm topaz ring could NEVER sell for $600 unless they were lying about the type of gem it was. I am INFURIATED that the salesperson’s comments below claim that it WAS sapphire. Less than two hours ago they told my mother it was topaz. I have also included a picture of the return receipt, which says BLUE TOPAZ on it. No wonder they conveniently “forgot” to give me my original receipt. Note that the responses to other poor reviews are all similar: deny the customer’s experience, and claim that it says something else “on the record”. Again, do not trust these scumbags, and ALWAYS make sure you ask for a certificate of authentication no matter where you go. EDIT 2: The “owner’s” reply to my review has conveniently been edited from “blue sapphire” to blue topaz. Too bad I took a screenshot of the original comment! LIARS

VERY DISPLEASED!!!! I highly recommend AGAINST purchasing anything from this jeweler! I purchased a diamond half eternity band before covid. I had brought it to their attention then that the prongs looked inadequate and they shot me down saying they were fine. A year later I lost a diamond and 2 more are VERY loose, I called them to inquire about getting it fixed and they told me I declined the life time warranty, which I in fact did not! I told them again how the prongs are inadequate because they are barely holding the diamonds in and once again I was argued with about how they were fine! Saying “The prongs are not the issue, they are fine, if that was the case, we would have people losing diamonds from bands all the time and bringing them in to be fixed. If you wear it everyday the prongs will wear down.” So basically if you buy a ring from them you can’t ever wear it! I’ve only had it for about a year. I have my great grandmothers half eternity diamond band that I wear everyday, it’s 100 years old and I’ve never lost a diamond, this one is only about a year old! I had another VERY REPUTABLE jeweler tell me they were NOT fine and the whole ring needed to be redone when it was brand new! This was when I brought it to their attention the first time and I was shot down. I am beyond upset I spent all this money on a ring I now have to get COMPLETELY redone else where when I could have bought a ring twice as nice for what I have to now spend. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I purchased a new Grand Seiko online from Kavar Jewellers in St. Catherines Ontario. I am very satisfied with the excellent communication with Natalie, prompt delivery and excellent packaging. The watch was perfect and the warranty card was correctly filled in. It was a perfect online purchase experience.

The one and only large Swatch brands dealer in Niagara. The amount of inventory they have is astounding. Pieces you don’t normally see in the flesh. The staff is highly knowledgeable on the vast array of watches from the different houses. Ibrahim and Alfie are the go to watch guys there. If you in the market for a new watch or are looking for a nice gift, they have great entry level Swiss offerings but also all the way up to hand decorated Grand Seikos. Recommended !

Received a gold anklet as an anniversary gift. The chain broke less than 2 weeks after it was purchased. Without warranty coverage you cannot get a refund/exchange/store credit. They offered to fix it, but the chain will most likely break again in a different location in the future if it has broken so soon after purchase. Disappointed with the level of quality for something worth hundreds of dollars and the lack of options you’re provided unless you pay extra for warranty for an already expensive item.

My fiancé bought my engagement ring here, and he didn’t feel that they had the right ring I wanted, so he brought in my Pinterest board and had my dream ring made and it turned out absolutely beautiful! A few weeks of wearing it and one tiny side gem did fall out (no one’s perfect, things happen) but we took it back and they couldn’t have been more apologetic telling me it should never have happened, and they would get it fixed asap. I was given about a 2 week turnaround to have the ring back, but I had it back in less than a week and have had no issues with it since! Amazing customer service.

While the customer service was pleasant they do not stand by their product. The force you to buy insurance on an item and my necklace was a gift he did not enough for insurance. He bought for Christmas last year the first time broke was caught in my hair I was ok with paying 50 bucks to fix then lasted 2 days broke in another spot just picked it up again in broke on day 3 in yet another spot. I will not pay for another repair and I will not buy another item from this store. I have had necklaces from the dollar store of better quality.

Super disappointed with how snobby the staff was when looking for a cheaper watch... The lady didn't give me the time of day until I took off my rolex from my wrist that was hidden under my sweater to try on a Baume et mercier.. I will definitely not be giving them my business in the future.

She wrote down the ring I had fallen in love with and gave it to us as well as the band my boyfriend and I picked out for the actual day. We wanted to go to a family run jewelry store because anywhere else, these rings are copied a million times. Being at Kavar and seeing a ring I know no one else will have, just adds to the incredible feeling of finding what we were looking for. 2020 has been an absolutely insane year. What Mary didn’t know was yesterday was my birthday and because everything is so restricted, it didn’t feel like the greatest day. So we decided last night to do that together and go ring shopping. Another great experience at Kavar Jewellers today! Not only do they have the most beautiful rings, their service puts everyone else to shame. I wanted some adjustments made to my wedding ring....and Kavar had it altered to perfection in 4 days while other stores send pieces away for 6-8 weeks!
