TLDR: Poor scheduling and time management. Friendly front desk. Expect to wait an hour plus regardless of walk in or appointment. Expect to see a physician assistant not a doctor. Expect physician assistant to make mistakes. So ask questions. Great front desk staff. Kind, friendly and listens. I have been here many times for walk in appointments and scheduled appointments. Regardless if you are on the schedule or not you will be waiting here for an hour plus. Even if it is a follow up that takes one minute. You wait an hour for a one minute appointment. Maybe flag the appointments that will be super fast so the ones that are required to take longer can have their health concerns actually helped in detail. As some of the other reviews comments say attention to the patients details is not experienced a lot. Also to mention I don’t think I have ever been helped by anyone except a physician assistant, never a doctor. Which was fine for what I needed but I doubt acceptable for most patients needs. Some of the assistants suck a they don’t look at your chart before hand and have you explain what you are there for again. Also one time I went I was injected with vitamin B12 shot instead of the actual shot I was there for. And had to go back … imagine if it was something dangerous. It was also from a physician assistant.

Horrible experience here today. Brought my toddler in with a rash, after waiting a doctors assistant came in to see us, she asked a few questions, didn’t take his temp until I mentioned it, or look in his ears at all. She barely looked at the rash and said it looked like the eczema he has always had on his arm. Had she actually taken a good look it is very obvious that it is not the same at all. I asked if we were going to see the doctor and she informed me that she was virtually speaking with the doctor. I was very frustrated and left, I will admit not my best moment. Had I known that there was no doctor on site I would have went elsewhere, now after waiting it was too late and all other clinics were closing. Here is the kicker, my husband went back to get the cream she had prescribed and was having it filled at the pharmacy there. The pharmacist then informed him that the cream that was prescribed was for a fully grown person and he would not recommend putting it on a toddler. We ended up leaving with an over the counter cream suggested by the pharmacist and will be taking my son to see an actual doctor tomorrow. Needles to say we will never go back there.

I am a current patient, and very unhappy with how they "do" things. Telling you one thing and doing another. Refusing tests that you need to get done. Yes they do have a couple nice nurses, but the rest are ridiculous. I will be leaving this office and switching over to Quest as I've never had an issue with them and they got beyond their means to make you are looked after well.

Horrible experience today. I went to have my ear seen. I had to bring my toddler with me. He coughed ONCE while in the waiting room, and they told us we had to leave! He wasn't even the patient. I offered negative COVID tests but they refused. They comprised my medical care for a completely obtuse reason. I will be following up with my recourses for this, because it seems to me that what they did was not right.

I had heard they had bad reviews but googled walk in clinics near me that were open on a Sunday. They were the only one. I looked At the website because of pandemic to see if i had To call before going in. It said walk ins welcome. Went down there, got inside and stood at the counter for 7 minutes before someone came out from the back. She didn’t acknowledge that i had Been there for a while, didn’t greet me, just sat down and said “can i help You” in a snarky tone. I went Up and asked if i was Able to see a dr because i felt I had A sinus infection. She said they weren’t seeing patients with those symptoms at this time, which was understandable but it was like i had To ask her questions to get any type of information out of her on what i should Do next. I get Sinus infections pretty often so I’m aware the nasal spray that works for me is prescribed. She informed me i could have it sent to my pharmacy. That’s nice, but how am i to Get a prescription without seeing anyone? I had To ask her what to do next. That’s when she said i could Make an appointment to talk to a dr. That’s nice… where do i do That. She looked at a pile of flyers and said you can call from there. To which i left And did that, made a virtual appointment And surprise surprise, no one called me back. Anyways. Over all terrible customer service just from the receptionist alone. I will Never step foot or call this clinic again for help.

Worst walk in clinic. This is my second time having issues with this clinic and I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt because I myself have worked in a healthcare setting and know situations do occur. However, this clinic is unorganized, unprofessional and doctors are doing their own thing. I waited 3 hours before being seen by a doctor and diagnosed with my 7 month baby and 6 year old. I was told during the initial check in it would take 1 hour or maximum 1.5 hours. I strongly suggest telling your patients the truth so they can decide to leave and come back another day or go to urgent care. I checked with the receptionist many times how long it would take so that I can leave and they kept repeating 5 minutes or it shouldn't take "long" the doctor is finishing up her notes. I'm sorry how long does it take for a professional to finish up her notes when there are sick patients waiting to see the doctor? I kept telling myself I waited this long, why not just 5 more minutes and see the doctor - only to be told OTC medication will do the trick. DO NOT recommend this place at all!

This place is literally the worst and I don’t say that lightly. As an international student, the only form of health insurance I have is UHIP and they don’t accept it which is fine I guess. You have to pay $120 each time you go in there even if it’s to get test lab results and then file an insurance claim yourself. But the issue is when it’s time for them to give you the information you need to fill out the insurance claim form, they will actually drive you crazy. I called multiple times and sent multiple emails and only eventually got the form back almost a month after and still had to pay $50 on top of the $240 I had already paid out of pocket for two visits. One of the receptionists in particular (I don’t know her name) is quite rude and very unpleasant to deal with. She gave me a headache every time I interacted with her and she acts like you’re a bother each time she attends to you. Cassie is another receptionist who I dealt with but only over the phone and she was the only person who treated me like a human being which is why I’m giving two stars as opposed to one. Honestly I would rather get sick and stay sick than visit this place again. Please avoid at all costs if you want to protect your sanity.

Despite the fact that the Ontario Government has stated that doctors are NOT ALLOWED to refuse to see patients who have any of the covid symptoms, we were turned away for not having a negative covid test. My under 2 year old has a cough with no other symptoms. And they refused. She does not qualify for a covid test as she's not in a specialized high risk group. How do they expect people to get care. Will never give them my business going forward.

I had no problems here. Got here at 11am on a Thursday, didn’t know if I had strep or whatever illnesses is going around, was told it was about an hour, hour and a half wait. I came prepared - got my podcast out and waited. The female doctor was really nice - she listened to all my symptoms, and gave me the peace of mind of knowing I just have a virus/infection. We need to be more patient with our healthcare providers - they’re overworked. Really appreciated all staff, from reception to the doctors, stay safe.

This clinic is absolutely ridiculous. I wanted to be informed about my results over the phone however, they refused to allow that option and said that I must go in person just to get a one word reply for a positive or a negative response for my results… I arrive and the wait time is over an hour and these people are so slow… unbelievable, this could have been done over the phone…

RUN FROM THIS CLINIC FAST. Went to this clinic because I thought I had a bladder infection. I was also interrogated by the female doctor on why I thought I had one as if I was incompetent as if I had not had one before and didn’t know my own body. She did not recommend any further tests or options for the pain in my stomach to get to the root of the problem, and 3 days later, ended up with a severe kidney infection that needed a injection of antibiotics and pain medication. The wait time is also quite long but the front desk staff are pleasant. They also offer cosmetic injectables which is probably a good indication they’re a jack of all trades.

My husband brought in our 4 year old because she had a fever and a sore throat for a few days. I called ahead of time and the receptionist told me my daughter would have to be rapid tested before she was able to see the doctor. I was a bit hesitant because she doesn’t like getting tested (what kid does) and I was worried how far up the nose she would go. Little did I know my daughter would come home with a big smile. She told me Gabby was super sweet and kind. My husband also informed me that she started the swob when my daughter was comfortable, she took her time and made it fun for her. I wish I could of been there to tell Gabby thank you she made the experience sweet and easy. The doctor took his time and examined her properly turned out to be a throat infection. The wait time was about 45 minutes but it was going by quick. My husbands says the clinic was nice and clean and the room was wiped down before going in. Will definitely be back!

Have regularly seen people turned away starting about 5:00p. Reception informs new walk-ins the clinic is at capacity two hours before closing with an empty waiting room. Based on previous responses to other reviews this is blamed on high patient volumes. This is a chronic problem and has not been addressed.

If I could give this clinic a zero I would. Absolutely terrible level of care. I have the flu and just needed to be assessed and probably prescribed antibiotics. The receptionists feel they can screen patients when they aren’t healthcare providers. The office manager also does not allow forms to be filled out for patients that are true walk in patients and need forms for work. Do not waste your time here. Update: I was able to get seen by a doctor and have my return to work forms filled out at the promptdoc urgent care clinic on lake street. No issues at all there. I recommend that clinic over this one.

Last time I walked in I had lost my voice and it hurt to breath, swallow, eat, or talk. I took a rapid test before going in and took a pic with a time stamp. They said I had to do an over the phone appointment because it could be covid. I offered to do a test they said throat stuff is over the phone only (it wasnt covid as per my rapid test i has strep throat.). They rapid tested the kid next to me. Today I walk in. To the walk in clinic. To be told they're at capacity. 2 and a half hours before they close. With two people in the waiting room. I suppose they can be quite busy in the back but the I've always assumed the point of a walk in clinic was so you could go some where that you didn't have to make an appointment for and wait to see a doctor about something that's concerning you now without clogging up ERs for something that isn't an emergency.

The only reason why I'm giving one star is because the lady at the front desk is super nice and patient. i've been now waiting three hours to see a doctor for my strep throat. people that were behind me the doctor is seeing first.. i feel like garbage and I want to go home.

This is the worst place I have ever visited. I've had shoulder pain for a year. I was originally seen by a male doctor, end of August or early September, and he sent me for an x-ray and an ultrasound. He was good. He explained why he was sending me for these tests and what he thought the issue was. He told me if the results came back normal, we could discuss what else the issue could be and what he could do to help; send me to a specialist and a physiotherapist. The x-ray was in September. I was advised to wait for the ultrasound for the next steps. I received my ultrasound October 17th 2022. I did not receive my results until today, December 7th 2022. I was told they would call me when they had my results but they never did. I called once in the middle of November and was told to wait for them to contact me. After waiting almost two months, I began to call them everyday for the past week to inquire about my results. They did not answer the phone once. I decided to chat them via Google and was told they still did not have my results. Yesterday, December 6th 2022, I asked how long it would take because I had been waiting two months for my results and was told they would have the clinic manager call me the next day. They did call me today and magically had my results. I went into the clinic at 5:30PM and was not seen until 6:40PM. I was seen by a female physician assistant who was completely rude to me and rushed me out of the room. She said the results were fine. I asked her what the next steps would be and she said "What? You're still having pain?" I told her my pain has worsened and it has become harder for me to do household tasks such as fill/empty the dishwasher or lift my laundry basket and I was having trouble at work; which I then told her what I do for work and how I've reduced my hours and my responsibilities but still encounter pain. She said "so you don't want to work or what do you want me to do? You should just see your family doctor if you don't want to work." I explained being off work does not give me an answer and the doctor initially told me he wanted me to see a specialist and a physiotherapist. She said "okay, I will send you to a specialist go to reception" and left the room. She did not tell me what specialist I would be seeing or when. When I got to the front, the receptionist said I have to pay $30 for a physiotherapist referral and there was no specialist for further investigation of my pain. I started to cry in the waiting room while I paid for the referral, which was clearly rushed. Here is what it says "Dear Physiotherapist: Please see (patient name, me) chronic for Rt shoulder pain. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions regarding the care of (patient name, me). Sincerely, (Her name.) I have never felt more humiliated, unheard, and rushed in a medical facility than I have today. The appointment was barely 5 minutes. This clinic does not care about their patients at all. Avoid at ALL costs.

Called ahead to this clinic and their sister clinic on Scott St. Was told to head to this one as they have the tetnis shot. My partner had a metal sliver in the leg, they were told this over the phone and in-person. After about an hour of waiting they told us to go walk around Walmart as we have a pager, my partner, not comfortable with walking, kindly reminded them the reason we are here. After disappearing and abandoning the front desk for 10 minutes they come back around and explained that despite receiving payment from me after we waited for an hour. They would not treat my partner and that we had to go to the emergency room. Fine, I'll just take a refund, right? After spending 10 minutes to search for someone to issue my refund I was told that refunds are only issued once a month at the end of the month. So now, during the Christmas holidays, I'm out 120 dollars that I SHOULDN'T have been charged until we had seen a Doctor. Please be wary of you do not have a health card when you come here. They will take your money, hold onto it of upwards of a month and provide no interest on a refund(2% per month, 24% annually).

This place is very iffy they hardly get back to you with results sometimes they don’t even know what happened to your results. Take a test and wait one month and they still “investigating” . Can’t trust the “physician assistant “ they seem very unsure of what they doing. Don’t recommend joining this spot. Only positive is there timing and the place is kept Very clean other than that the fundamentals of this practise does not give confidence to patients

How can a walk-in clinic take appointments?? Ontario is the worst place for doctors, I guess you get what you pay for. I would rather pay for a doctor visit than watch a doctor run from room to room just to make a buck. Our care in Ontario is a disgrace!

I visited this walkin twice, physicians and staff are very well educated and a pleasure to deal with,My recent experience with Ramandeep the receptionist was amazing. She is accommodating and really cares about the clients of the walk-in. Five stars for Ramandeep's customer service skills. Thanks for taking great care of me.

I have used the services of this clinic provided by Dr.Sarah for many years now. I would like to share what I think of her services. Appreciating quality work is something I like to do. Dr. Sarah has her heart on what she does, as a patient I always feel heard and welcomed (which is quite not easy to find now). She is very knowledgeable and highly confident of what she does which reassures me as a patient. There is no rush and full attention is given to all the details provided. She communicates her mission through her actions ensuring that the customer receives the treatment he/she seeks and needs. This comes with great preservation of time and practicality. I really find Dr. Sarah an added value to this clinic and I hope that her services will always be available. Patients' ultimate well being is her core value and it is admirable.

Just want to start by saying the woman at the front desk was suuuper nice, seeing the empty waiting room and being treated nice was a good way to start considering the reviews are so bad. However, once in the room I was waiting for 50 minutes to see a doctor which surprised me because an empty waiting room seems like the visit wouldn't be too long. The male doctor came in rudely, and very abrasive. I have come to this location before and the female doctor I had was amazing, very kind and courteous. My recommendation for this clinic is have people wait in the waiting area until they see the doctor that way when more people come in they can better gauge how long the visit will be. Being in the room alone for almost an hour to see the doctor for less than a minute is ridiculous, because you're already in the room you can't leave at least I was uncomfortable to. Anyways it seems that waiting in the rooms for a long time is a consistent thing for this clinic, so don't be fooled by the empty waiting room.

I don't really leave reviews but I will here. My first visit was really nice and professional, the young receptionist (I'm not too sure of her name, might be Cassie) was extremely nice and welcoming. Made me feel like I was talking to a friend rather than a receptionist. I'm very excited to see how the meet and greet goes with the Doctor so I might add another review afterwards if it's possible. Overall a good experience :D

Absolutely the worst walk in I've ever been to. I called them and asked if I can get a prescription refill and the very nice lady said that was no problem. So I'm thinking yay that's great (my doctor had been on vacation so I wasn't able to see them) I go down there on the Monday as I wasn't able to go over the weekend and thankfully they fit me in. I get in and see the doctor after waiting an hour and a half witch was totally ok except in that time never mentioned to me that I would need proof that I was taking this perception. So the doctor tells me to come back tomorrow and that I wouldn't have to wait in line. I come back today and guess what, they can't take me. What a great place

I came to this office this morning after being sick for 4 days, due to my symptoms I needed something close to home. As I sat in the office I was reading the reviews. Lots of negative comments, seeing as I work in health care, I feel the need to add my experience. There were many complaints about the wait time. But unfortunately that is health care right now! There are not enough nurses and doctors in Ontario, and the population is growing, so please expect wait times anywhere you go, it’s not just this clinic that will have wait times. 1-2 hours is really not that unexpected. The reception staff were very kind and very busy! Probably 10-15 people came in after me, and headed into the mall, so it’s not clear how many people are actually waiting and there are several rooms that are likely full of patients, so comments about no one in the waiting room and wait times is not entirely fair. I watch a few people give the reception staff a hard time, and I felt they handled it gracefully and respectfully. Given what I read I was partially expecting to be rushed out when I saw the doctor, but this was not the case at all, I felt she asked all the right questions, didn’t rush, and did her exam as required, I felt she listened to my concerns and worked though several different things that could cause my symptoms to treat the route cause. She was very pleasant and kind. I understand when we are feeling awful or scared and want immediate solutions it’s hard to be patient, and it’s easy to blame others and write an unkind review, but truly I thought this clinic provided me excellent care.

I am delighted to share my positive experience with Raman at Dr. Nathan Health Medical Center. Raman's extraordinary dedication and resourcefulness were evident when she went above and beyond to arrange an Adacel 0.5mg (Titanus) injection by talking to her manager, which was unavailable at any pharmacy store. Her exceptional service and commitment to patient care truly set a high standard. Highly recommend her for her outstanding professionalism and patient-centered approach.

They don't know what they are doing at this clinic! I called a few days before coming in, and they told me it was okay to do blood test anytime before 6pm because they can store for pickup next day. When I went in they said no only until 4pm??? They have a fridge to store blood but apparently arent willing to do the work. The receptionist couldn't even talk to me alone, had to get another assistant to come and gang up on me. I don't need your b***s*** excuses. If you're doing the job, maybe learn how to do it properly so it's not like one person says something, and the other says something else. Really not happy for calling ahead of time that I had to waste an hour and a half of my time. Terrible location.

I honestly don’t understand all the negativity towards this clinic. I had to get the standard TB test for work and the clinic was fantastic, I came early and was in and out within a hour , came back 48 hours later for my results and was in and out . The staff are more than welcoming and the Doctor that seen me was absolutely fantastic. Thank you to the Staff and Doctor!

Always get turned away (today at about 4pm). Poor follow up, been waiting over a year for a referral to a specialist I'm pretty sure they forgot to refer me to, and although I've been a patient for a couple of years, I still haven't received my appointment for a physical. I switched here because of the convenience of a walk in with the benefit of them being my family doctor, but it is increasingly frustrating to get care here. Update... showed up today, asked about my referral, and they told me my appointment with the specialist was last February. An appointment that I was not made aware of, and that didn't take place. This place is beyond useless.

They're more interested in finding excuses not to help patients than they are in providing healthcare. Service has deteriorated severely over the past few years. They fill out referral paperwork improperly, lose lab results, claim patients who registered with them as a family practice didn't, etc. until you argue otherwise and they look it up again and verify the truth. It's a struggle to get them to actually do anything. They're unfortunately very focused on getting people out the door even if that means they don't get the care or followup required and their issues aren't addressed. Not that they actually accomplish fast turnaround, either, their wait times are still hours long. They'll happily refer you to other places that don't communicate and don't take action and won't do anything to help when you point out any problems.

Been coming here for a few years now. The reception staff has always been kind, friendly and greets me upon entering and registering. The PA and doctors listen thoroughly to my issues and requests regarding my health and extended health care needs. I've never really had to wait very long either compared to other health care facilities.

Should you have several issues, I would not go here. Training day is every day. It is more of a business rather than a doctor office. Sure it offers some accommodations, however mine have been like a human rights violation. They have no training in adhd nor ptsd, but they will disregard that for you. And it goes on the record too. Nice to use my disability to make some more work. Tinnitus? Why worry about that? You generate the tone for them to hear and it annoys them. So after three years, again I have to search for a new doctor. A big NO for me.

Will never return.Absolutely horrendous, I have been here multiple times for a work injury. First male doctor was fantastic. But the female doctor I have been dealing with seems to have zero empathy for patients in pain. I came in as physio requested I needed an MRI due to obvious issues in my knee revealed in a ultrasound. Instead of referring me to one she said come back in 4 Updated review!! Because of the review I left, and because in April I no longer wanted to be seen by the female doctor, they will no longer see me at this clinic. Denied medical care because of an honest review towards one doctor.

I have been going to this walk in since it opened. The physicians and staff are very well educated and a pleasure to deal with. My recent experience with Emily the receptionist was amazing. She is accommodating and really cares about the clients of the walk-in. Five stars for Emilys customer service skills. Thanks for taking great care of me.

Although my this is my family practice, they are terrible with their response time and in overall follow up with care. I gave a urine sample and swab sample for them to test back in December 13 and they still, a month later, have not gotten back to me with the result. I've had to do my own due diligence and call and follow up on numerous occasions to see if there is even an update. They are like this with everything else as well, slow and unresponsive.

Recently came in to get checked out, as I had/have bites all over my body. The doctor I seen seemed very rushed, and told me that I had hives, not bites. Not impressed, as I've discovered that they were/are bites, and I now know where they came from and what kind of bug it is. I feel like these doctors should double check their facts, before prescribing medicines that aren't needed.
