If I could rate them ZERO, I would! I called and asked if they are taking on new patients and the secretary said yes. She asked what kind of coverage I have and I said im on Ontario disability (ODSP). She said we are not taking ODSP patients. I said why? She said they have reached their quota for Disability patients. I said, you just told me you were taking on new patients but when I told you I was in ODSP you refused me? Why? She said, the government doesn’t pay their fees or wages so they will not take ODSP patients. I said that’s discrimination! I’m treated differently because I have a disability?!!! I've been a loyal patient at Fourth Ave for years, maybe even close to a decade! I have paid them $$$$ thousands for procedures out of pocket and been insured until a few years ago. I had a major setback at work and have to use ODSP. After years of dental service they cancelled my cleaning appointment last year due to covid. Now they told me policy suddenly changed and they no longer accept ODSP for my cleaning, regardless if I can pay for extra services in cash! I'm sorry to say this but it seems like a cash grab to me. Used to be a place I would recommend, but clearly it's only about the money not quality service or client experience. Beware!

Been coming here for years, used to love it, the staff USED to be amazing. That has changed and gone down hill. Made three appointment specifically stated the way they needed to be scheduled. When they called me a week prior to the appointments I confirmed that the schedule and times had not changed, they said no. Arrived for appointments to find out they changed them and messed them up. I don't know who did it behind the desk but the fact that instead of letting me know prior to you wait until I'm here and say oh we will just do this (a suggestions of which would not work or be plausible in the situation) is unacceptable.

Heildi was not helpful. She said her opinion was that of all the dental team that it’s not there policy to take ODSP dental cards. But they actually DO have an obligation to honour it. The Ontario government pays for it!! It’s not a handout!! I have never felt such disappointment towards how DISABLED means no oral health care for you, even though I get a dental card every month.🤬

Charged me 50.00 because my son (4 years old) was vomiting.... I called to reschedule at 2 am and once the office was open they said I have to give 2 days notice...when i asked if they wanted me to bring my vomiting child in..I was told no... so....I'm confused on how I would know my son would magically get sick.... when he fine 2 days before hand... ALSO told me all doctors offices do this... ( I worked for a doctor and grew up with family in the medical field) there are ALWAYS ALWAYS acceptions especially when it comes to children. Nice try guys I will never bring my son back here again.

I went there today for what i was told would be a much needed root canal and was given enough time to get what i needed done so i was told this morning when i called to make sure i was getting what i needed done as i have 8 kids one being 2 weeks old and in enough pain to make it hard to function and this dr comes in and tells me he wont fix my tooth so waste my time away from my children for him to get paid for literal 5 min appointment.. Worst service Ever!!

Had issues before and they were more than professional and kind when I was being treated. From wisdom to root canals to regular cleanings - this team is the best. No matter your difficulty they will always help and assist. no complaints!

This is the best dentist I've ever been too. Everyone is very nice and they don't make you feel bad if you haven't been to the dentist in awhile. The children's dentist is also great and very good with kids.

This clinic is the best I’ve been too. Had several procedures done there and although it’s never pleasant the doctor and staff there make it almost so. I want to highlight Dr Joshua he is the most kind and gentle dentist one could ask for.

I would like to thank Dr. Siddiqui again for taking care of my emergency examination. Now I feel so much better.. free from a tooth pain. Last 2 weeks were Hell to me. I need root canal done eventually but until then he helped me for get rid of infection as much as he can with antibiotics. He’s fantastic!! Reception was busy because of covid-19, they’re doing their best and sanitizing everybody. Upon your arrival they’ll come out and guide you. Thanks everyone :)

The doctors and crew are excellent. No pain and effective treatments that are tailored to your needs. Staff from assistants to front are professional and caring. I've seen a few dentists around the world and the technique and quality of profession for me is second to none. Simply the best in dentistry.

it's not the best, its like an assembly line and they don't really care about you. They just want you in and out and they want to make top dollar. Plus they make mistakes and never have the '"time" to fix it, they just keep scheduling you back in and they can't get it right. I'll have to go to another place.

Not transparent about work they are doing

A great dental office. Several years ago, we switched dentists after being patients here for a few years, only because we found a dentist closer to home. We were very happy with Fourth Avenue, but we thought, "Why not try somewhere closer?" But what we found out was that not all dentists are created equal. After some terrible work (that ended up costing thousands of dollars to fix) done by the other dentist, we ate humble pie and came back to Fourth Avenue Dental and Dr. Siddiqui. He welcomed us back graciously, fixed all the work done by the sketchy dentist, and remains as kind and attentive as ever (as do the other staff). We will be forever grateful about how they welcomed us back, and we learned a valuable lesson about switching purely for the sake of convenience. If you have a great dentist, STICK WITH THEM. It's worth the 25min drive to have our teeth cared for by Dr. Siddiqui and the other awesome staff at Fourth Avenue Dental, and we will remain patients there and recommend the clinic to all friends and family who live in the Niagara Region. I love this place ! Eveyone is so understanding and kind that I've delt with ,I had two teeth out today and it was painless. Eveyone is so gentle and kind. They also take care of my kids and same result !! Great place and staff

Dr.binner is the best he is always gentle and explains the process step by step so there is no surprises for someone who is terrified of the dentist he makes the trip a breeze

It’s too bad I couldn’t rate Dr. Joshua, Lisa; and everybody at Fourth Avenue Dental, with 7,777 ‘Stars’, instead of five. I was referred by a friend, who told me he’s been a patient for 25+ years…& that U can’t find a BETTER dentist…+ Team, in the universe, and he was spot-on! Dr. Joshua is the nicest, gentlest fella I’ve ever met…caring, compassionate…a masterful dentist, too. The man has a heart of gold, as well…and U can check out what he’s done for the less fortunate (on their site)…all around the world…truly, a RARE GEM, indeed!😌 Nobody made me feel bad/dumb etc…seeing how poorly I’ve looked after my teeth, of late. Yeah, I’ve been down-in-the-dumps since losing my Mom over a year ago…& just recently, my brother (now, no one ‘left’😞😩😭)…but no excuse, because the buck stops here. I wasn’t laughed at or belittled etc…not even one iota…just motivated and encouraged me…which means MORE than words can say, & I’ll never forget, either! Lisa, the hygienist, is da BEST I’ve ever had. She put the protective thing on me whilst taking an X-ray…special glasses before starting to clean (my disaster🤦‍♂️), and frequently asked if everything’s OK etc. Lisa has the touch of the master’s hand, & even though lots had to be done, I never felt any pain…and was guided throughout. There really isn’t a dental office that can compare, & I highly recommend Dr. Joshua, Lisa; and everyone at Fourth Avenue Dental, friends…simply The BEST…7 gazillion per cent…in every way, too! My family has been going to Fourth Avenue Dental for several years now for all our dental work and have had nothing but positive experience each time. Right from appointment booking, follow ups , hygiene to root canals and major restorative work, we have always got very good care here. All the staff and doctors are knowledgeable, friendly and proficient in their work - and also very accommodating in appointment scheduling :) Dr Joshua, who has been our primary dentist for years, as well as the other doctors including Dr Siddiqui have provided us with the best dental care. Kudos to the amazing team here for the great care you provide!

Just became a new patient. Great atmosphere and everyone in the dental office is very nice and made me feel comfortable.

I went in for a surgical extraction. Dr. Ammar Taimish was the Doctor that took care of it. I actually fainted before they did any work because I was so nervous. They handled it very professionally and made sure I was comfortable before proceeding. His assistant also did a very good job at keeping me calm. Dr. Ammar Taimish and his dental assistant have a very well rounded sense of humor so it helped me through the extraction. Dr. Ammar Taimish and his assistant get to know you as a patient, actively listens to your needs and educates/ explains things properly. Overall, I am thankful because they made it a very calming experience.

Been getting my teeth cleaned here for about 2 yrs now, love going to the dentist and getting a good scaling.

The newest oral surgeon, De. B... ruined my experience there. Cancelled my surgery, and after 10+ years at this location, I may never return for any of my dental needs. Respect toward your patients should be a priority, especially for a person who is about to pay you over 3Gs for one tooth. I would save your time and money if you're looking for a compassionate team with thorough follow through. Left me feeling insecure, anxious, and embarrassed after being rude in front of other patients, my kid, and the reception. Of course, he was nice as pie until I booked the surgery. Which was a hassle of it's own. They lost my appointment for the first surgery date, took me 4 unreturned calls before I had to go in and book the surgery and at the consult i wasnt provided with instructions for prep which I was inquiring about when he was rude to me.

Dentist flossed my teeth to hard between my front two gushed blood and hurt for a full day after. Tried to go back saying I saw a gap during that time after. Not even blaming them and they kept saying nothing was there. Now need a gum graph because he pushed my gums up into a buldge. Also they charged me cash for my visit and I never checked the details on the receipt and they actually ran it through a family members with the same last names benefits. Scam & terrible dentist over all. Do not recommend

I frequent fourth ave dental clinic. Over the past few years I’ve had cleaning and fillings done. My experience has been great with the hygiene and dental staff. My 7 year also had his tooth extracted by Dr. Siddiqui and he made sure that my son was comfortable.

Was booked with Debbie that I requested. But they put me with a young girl Rude that said what does it matter if you cant remember her name. Rude and unprofessional. JEN THE OFFICE MANAGER made things worse. Mocked and screamed AT. wanted to talk to Dr Joshawa but they won't let me wonder why.

Great staff!

My experience in the couple of times I have been here is mostly positive........ The only two things I really have an issue with,is with the hygienists being less than gentle,and make you feel bad or guilty for plaque and tartar buildup, especially when I'm only covered annually and have crowding in the bottom teeth. Everything thing else is fine.

Bottom back tooth on left side and whole jaw hurts after Dr. Qureshi did bad filling a month ago. Have to go to a different Dentist to fix it.

If the was zero stars they would get It staff sucks they don't care if your in pain they did a root canal in 2010 that caused my sinus to pop and had to go for emergency surgery in Hamilton to repair the sinus

I had all my filling fall out. They are about greed. Do not go there. 3 teeth broken, 10 fillings fallen out. Got go through more work. I have a great dental plan. Be warned
