This was a welcome stop after travelling through the Welland Canal from Port Colborne. We were lucky that there was one large slip available for us across from the fuel dock. We entered just as daylight was fading and we're aware of the skinny water in the area. Luckily with this year's high water we had no problem with our 6 ft draft. We made our way to the slip and spent only one night as we were travelling on to Bath. The facilities were clean and secure with great showers. The small chandlery in the marina had what looked like anything you needed for boating. It was open early and looked after our fee for the night's accommodation. We were underway before we had a chance to meet any of the facility staff but it was a nice stay.

Water water everywhere so lets all take a drink. What a beautiful marina with friendly unrushed staff and guests. Low key and easy going. If you have a boat this is a nice place to dock it or put it in the water. Gas prices are reasonable and the water depth is great.

In 2017 I had Marlons marine services, part of St. Catharines Marina put in a new automatic bilge in my boat. It was installed incorrectly and not hooked up to operate automatically Subsequently, due to incorrect wiring I had to replace it. I had left a message to that effect and that I refused to pay the bill for a unit I had to replace. I asked the girl to have Chris, the mechanic in question to call me to discuss this and the bill. No one called me back. Now, in the beginning of 2020 they are sending me an overdue reminder threatening collection! I will NOT pay this bill until they return the 2 calls I left with the girl to have this Chris call me. 2 and a half years LATER!

There is a nice walk along the pier here. It extends maybe a couple kilometres out into lake Ontario. There are some good views from the end of the pier, but there are mostly trees blocking the view on the walk down it.

I'd be cautious having things serviced there. Had my 19.5ft bow rider serviced the for some carb issues and a dropped flapper and it came back in very poor condition. Dirty greasy black hand prints on the seats, missing screws, and broken parts(flame arrestor) The wrappers from the installed parts Installed were stuffed into the side compartments and old gasket material was left all over the engine compartment. There were also all kinds of stones all over the floor. I called to complain and they did not seem very concerned. Took multiple follow up calls and a few weeks to get the broken flame arrestor replaced. The one good thing is that the repair they did seems to have cured my issue. Im Just extreemly disappointed In the condition of my boat when I picked it up. I will not go back.

We used this strictly as a boat launch. I found it poorly maintained. There's only 1 launch which made for a 50 minute wait to get our boat in the water on a Saturday. Even the public launch in chippawa has an attendee during busy times. An attendee could help prevent things like people launching and leaving it while going to park their vehicle. Or forgetting to take off their straps. We personally will never be returning for that reason. The metal stairs going up the hill are missing pieces on the treads that make it dangerous. To me there is an excessive amount of weeding floating on the water that could easily be cleared and not clog my motor up.

The launch is well cared for, good for small and large boats, staff was incredibly helpful and got us fueled up and even assisted with the launching!

Summary: I have never experienced anything quite like it. A typical rustic Great Lakes marina but without the usual friendly staff. Transient boaters should not expect helpfulness or friendliness from this bunch. The facilities are OK, a little bit rustic but I am good with that. I enjoyed my stay and after two nights I was departing and wanted to fill up on diesel and ice. Got help from a neighbor to handle the boat, since I was sailing solo. Sat at the fuel dock and waited. And waited. Twice I walked to the office to ask for help. FOUR guys sitting around having lunch and not one of them would help out. “Waiting for the fuel boy.” They tried phoning and texting him, but he wasn’t answering. I waited a long time and finally gave up. When I cast off it was unsurprising that no help was offered. My bottom line: A rustic Great Lakes marina but instead of the usual friendly and helpful staff they seem to employ the lazy, unfriendly type. Lunch is very important and should not be interrupted for trivia such as customer service, fuel sales, helpfulness or basic courtesy. Thank goodness this experience is unique among the many Great Lakes marinas I have visited.

Friendly people. Clean parkesque area. Lots of goose-dirt, but there's no escaping that around here. We only came in to take shelter from the waves for a few minutes. Nobody told us to get lost while we occupied an empty slip for 10 or so minutes. Will be back to check out the marine store and fueling services. Thanks for the shelter guys. My passenger was quite sea sick and he lived thanks to that break. Haha. If I had any recommendations for this place, it would be to have some signage showing where to turn for fuel or even transient docking. Otherwise, great place to visit even when it was under rough circumstances.

We made an unplanned boating stop here to fuel due to developing weather system which forced us to stay overnight ... The fuelling was courteous, the attendant helped us find a dock for overnight stay and the neighbouring boat owners quickly came to offer help... We were invited to a night fireside chat that they do, very friendly bunch and made us very welcome...next morning neighbours came again to check if we had enough food ... Facilites are very nice with a well equipped Marina store onsite and a cafeteria nice (where the owner offer us to pay next day if we didn't have cash as they don't accept cards...we did have the cash) very nice small town hospurality and would love to visit them again !

Excellent Marina, better staff. Greg and Chris are very caring people who show the utmost respect. Amazing customer service and everyone is approachable and helpful. The location is beautiful and only a few minutes to the Niagara River. I strongly recommend this marina for boating and they have a nice campground community too.
