Fabulous outdoor patio with a simple but really good food and great beer. Really unique and highly recommended, and also dog friendly, dogs are welcome both inside and outside in the garden. They can sit inside with you when the weather gets cold. Starting in March 2022 they have added food from Odd Bird. Their burgers are great as are their Fried Chicken Sandwiches. Really great food and service, and this is a brewery with a good selection of beers, and other beverages as well. They have recently added cocktails, we have tried several and they are excellent.

Nice ambiance in the heart of Port Dalhousie. We had a round of beer followed by dinner - party of five. Service was friendly. Food was very good and prices were fair - what more could you ask?

Great brews and good distillery options. Try the Crosscut Barrelled Mocha Liquor! If you like Cider try the Velocity Made Good.

Super great space downstairs... upstairs.. balcony / patio front and back. Very cool. The beer was great. Jasmine our server was super knowledgeable about beer and the local area offerings. She was a delight to chat with. Jasmine made our visit even better.

The beers were pretty tasty! The food was okay, but not worth the price, IMO. I would definitely grab some of their beers again. Super cute setting and the beer garden is dog friendly 😊

Great Beer. Great Food! We stopped in tonight and had a flight, a beer and some food, and we were very pleased. Great beer, with a nice selection, not huge, but enough to hit most palates. The food was prepared by Oddbird, with make amazing poultry based offerings, with a few other mixed it. We had fried bratwurst slices as an appetizer, with a curry ketchup that was really tasty. The service was super friendly and helpful. Eating out in their biergarten was a pleasure, give the weather. We will definitely be returning/

It’s ok. Not really worth the price. Flavors need some work. $17 for a very standard schnitzel sandwich it just too much unless you’re bringing something really special to the table. In a city with so many good places to eat you’re better off going elsewhere.

I almost don't want to review Lock Street because as Port Dalhousie's Hidden Secret, I sort of want to keep it that way just for me. I've always had no problem finding a seat in the biergarten (one of very few beirgarten-like spaces in the area). The beers are good, and the locktoberfest beer is a personal favourite. The food is good, the service is good. One of my favourite breweries in the Niagara region. Just please, don't tell anyone, ok?

A lot more seating than first meets the eye! We sat upstairs and enjoyed a great meal with many vegan options, along with beer and non-alcoholic drinks as well.

Absolutely love coming here! The food is so good and the atmosphere is great. Definitely worth checking out! EDIT: I’ve been coming here on and off for 4 years and the quality has gone extremely downhill. The service has been awful, my table was barely acknowledged in what was an almost empty bar at 9pm on Saturday… the warm, local atmosphere is completely gone. I’m sorry Lock, you guys need to make a change. Get rid of your FOH manager and start fresh. The high turn over in staff just reiterates my point.

Good beers. Neat little place. More here than what it seems. Try the bratwurst chips. Delicious little bits of happiness. If you like sausage and bacon, you should try this. We didn’t want to eat a lot as we were going to dinner in an hour or so, so we tried this. No bacon, mind you, but it reminded me of it. Comes with barbecue dipping sauce and chives.

We found this little jewel of a pub with beergarten because we looked for a pet friendly restaurant to accommodate us after a hike. It is not only a pub, but a microbrewery which crafts some very tasty beers (tried several varieties, which were all delectable). We enjjoyed the atmosphere, and loved the food, which was tasty, nicely presented, and quite reasonably priced. The staff was super attentive as well, so it was an all-round pleasant, positive experience for us. Highly recommended if you find yourself in St Catherine's.

Beer was really good, however, we sat for 40+ mins waiting to order food. We got a flight and then our server disappeared. The view and general atmosphere is really nice. Menu looked decent it would have been sweet to have tried some food... We were frustrated so just paid for our flight and left.

Was awesome! The Biergarten was such a great atmosphere. Service was incredibly fast and friendly. Beers were tasty and the food was really good. Maybe the best gravy I've ever had (on tater tot poutine). Will definitely go back and would recommend.

Came here for our first time and very disappointed. Waited 40 minutes and they still hadn't put our appetizer in. Waiter said it was a mix up between waiters, yet he was the only one who served us. Never again!!!

Went in today to pick up some takeout beer. Great location and really nice staff, one of whom described all their beers, showed us the back patio, and talked about their brewing set up and events that they host. Looking forward to having a beer in their back bier garden this summer.

Great spot for drinks. Back patio is lush and green. Decent selection of beers on tap and huge selection of local bottled wine. We had the fries and hummus plate and they were both great.

Highly highly highly recommend for some great food and beer! Awesome atmosphere in the backyard, which was well complimented with their delicious sour IPA and hot chicken sandwich. I'll be back!!

This is the perfect place to spend a couple of hours after a long walk through port or on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Pet friendly and sheltered the backyard beer garden is almost doable in all 4 seasons. There are always new creative blends to try and flights are well presented and reasonably priced. The “jealous mistress” is a personal favourite and the “seasonals” are very well done. The oddbar express has been a wonderful addition. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful.

Service was good, the double IPA delicious, but the burger was very disappointing. I was surprised to see (and disappointed to taste) processed cheese slice on the black sail burger. The burger was over cooked, and overall messy to eat without a lot of depth to the flavour.

Dropped in for an afternoon lunch on our way back from Niagara Falls. We shared a pretzel and some tater tots, which were great, and everyone seemed to like their mains as well (my sandwich was delicious). We all loved our beers, and I ended up getting some to take home. Finally, the person serving us was amazing and even brought us coffee from next door since they don't serve it themselves. How nice is that? If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely make it a point to come back.

Lock Street Brewing Company in St. Catharines is simply amazing! I recently had the pleasure of visiting this brewery with my family and it was such a fantastic experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. One of the highlights of our visit was trying some of the delicious beer. The selection was impressive and there was something for everyone in our group. The beer was expertly crafted and had just the right balance of flavor and aroma. We even got to try some of their seasonal offerings which were truly amazing! Aside from the beer, the food was also top-notch. We shared a few dishes between us and everything was cooked to perfection. The menu was diverse, and we had a hard time choosing what to try! The overall experience at Lock Street Brewing Company was fantastic and we would highly recommend it to anyone who loves beer and good food. The combination of excellent beer, delicious food, and a warm and inviting atmosphere made it the perfect place to spend an evening with family. We will definitely be back!

We booked the upstairs room for a private birthday party. It was great! We were able to mingle and use the outdoor balcony. Kids played games and guests could move around to chat and eat. Staff were great and food/drinks were delicious. They even accommodated our many food preferences/sensitivities (vegan/gluten free). Highly recommend for a private event.

This is our third time here and we have always enjoyed their beer. The reason for the 4 star is because their customer service is a hit and miss. Will definitely return though.

Came to work in the upstairs area. Said it was closed off but they accommodated and totally didn't have to do that. Thanks for being awesome people and taking care of your customers. Also, this Jealous Mistress is quite tasty!

A great score through the Mega Rotary TV Auction resulted in our first visit to Lock Street Brewing Company. What a treat. We arrived at a quiet time so it was like we were dining and sipping in our own very cozy and tasteful loft apartment. The food is brought in from right next door through Chz Plz and it's delicious. I loved my chicken pesto and brie sandwich mainly as the bread was spectacular but we both agreed the the cauliflower wings were the highlight. After a few tastings, my personal favourite beer was definitely the pumpkin ale - hurry in while they still have some! Kyle, our server, was so helpful and friendly that it made the experience all the better. One little caution if you haven't been before: make sure you look at the Chz Plz menu if you look online. There are some other food options attached that aren't part of Lock Street.

#FunFact We have been here 3 times...and EACH and EVERY time, my mom and I have had such a good time. I love supporting local and giving back to these types of business'. Our most recent visit was today and had a dude, whose name I regret to have asked, who was extremely passionate for beer and also taught us more about this new town we just moved in to. Last time I was served by Alexis, and she is the reason why I came back. The best part is... I can bring my doggo in there!!!! So I can have a beer, great company from the staff AND eat great food from the place beside them. I am a forever fan of this place, the beer, and the staff! Thank You to the staff for being beyond accommodating and extremely hospitable 🧡

Very awkward dining experience. Food was delicious, but service wasn't good. Was looking for a fun place to visit, but we were the only ones in the restaurant and for majority of our visit there wasn't even music playing so it was just dead silent. We went to Twisted Pig after and it was so much better. Definitely wouldn't go back after a disappointing experience.

The patio is terrific. Great spot to grab a beer. They have fire pits which will probably be awesome in the cooler months (it was 28 degrees when I went!

The team there are always friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. Great food along with a wonderful beer makes it a terrific place to pop in. And as they are dog friendly, it is hard to have an excuse to not pop in after a long walk with my four legged companion.

The Lock Street Brewing Company sells some excellent beers, has a very nice and unique interior and it is located in the lovely Port Dalhousie neighborhood. They also let you sample before you buy which is very much appreciated. Staff is very friendly and quick. The only downside is that it is somewhat pricey (although not absurdly overpriced).
