This restaurant is located in the tourist area of Port Dalhousie, near a giant park, beach, and boat docks, making it a great place to visit and this restaurant is definitely worth visit. The interior is well decorated, quaint, and there is an intimate atmosphere. There are seats on their outdoor patio where you could sit with friends and have a drink. I went for Sunday brunch so I chose a dish from their Sunday Brunch menu: Duck and Waffles ($22.00), a take on Chicken and Waffles. The duck confit is succulent and cooked just right. The waffles are blueberry waffles. The dish topped with Canadian Maple Duck Jus, sprouts (garlic or onion depending on what's available), crispy shallots, and blueberries. Then is a small poached that has a nice runny yolk. The mix of colours makes the dish very appealing. The mix of duck, waffles, and jus makes it very tasty. I also ordered a Coke and it came in a bottle along with a glass filled with ice and a lemon slice. There is quite an assortment of wine, beer, cider, and cocktails. The waitress was so attentive and pleasant. During pandemic times, staff wear masks and tables have a hand sanitizer. The restaurant is quite ornate. The washroom sink tap is extremely high pressure so be careful when turning it on. There is free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There is one large gender-neutral washroom which is also wheelchair accessible. There is paid street parking with two disability parking spots across from the restaurant. The food was awesome! Tried the pretzel (get the cheese sauce, it's worth it) and the Haus Soup (cauliflower & dill soup) as appetizers. The schnitzel with spaetzle was outstanding. My dining companions had potato latkes (yummy!) and gravlax (not my thing but they loved it!). Too full for dessert - next time!

First try in here after spending time at the Port Dalhousie beach. We were surprised how beautiful the interior was. Small restaurant but beautifully designed from the paintings, wallpapers, table set up and beer glasses. Love the vibe! Staff were also very accommodating considering we have stroller to dine in. Food and drinks were excellent! We had mushroom sandwich and schnitzel. We also liked Niagara wheat beer, refreshing and light drink. Highly recommend and will definitely come back!

This was our first stop on our little Niagara weekend getaway, and what a delight! It started out with our server Michelle being an absolute gem of a person. She was watering the plants with some leftover water from some guests, laughing that she didn’t want to waste any when we walked up to the entrance. Michelle was honestly the star of the show, but the food was also divine. Huge portions made with so much love. The pretzel and cheese dip was some of the best I’ve ever had. Fresh out of the kitchen with a perfect amount of Maldon salt. We were lucky enough to come on Friday l, AKA fish and chips day. Crispy batter, flaky fresh fish, and house made dill tartar sauce. The goulash had a generous helping of beef and was perfect for the slightly chilly day. So sad we were way too full for any dessert. They thoughtfully place some blankets on each chair on the patio in case you get a bit chilly. Also, the washroom looks like something taken out of a fairy’s house. So cute! Will definitely be back.

The decor is beautiful! Such a gorgeous place and really great attention to detail-even the glasses are pretty! But don't go here for the look, go here for the food. The food is so good it makes you sad that you ate it and now it's gone and you can't still be eating it. The menu is difficult because it's small but everything looks great and you want to order it all. We had a pretzel with cheese sauce to start and it was so good I wish we weren't sharing it. I had the latkes for my main and every bite was just perfect. My fiance had the schnitzel and it too was perfect. The noodles on it were interesting and I loved stealing a few off his plate. We shared the crepe for dessert and it was the ideal ending. Fresh whipped cream, sweet pink strawberries, really good crepe and Nutella 🤤 During our meal, we saw meals being brought to other diners and everything looked amazing. Definitely going back so we can try the other things

My husband and I went tonight to celebrate my birthday. We have been looking for a new favorite European restaurant and think we've found it! A cozy little place tucked in Port Dalhousie, this place boasts excellently cooked European cuisine. I had the pork schnitzel plate with German potato salad and pickled cabbage as well as a crepe for dessert. Everything was cooked absolutely perfectly, the batter used on the schnitzel was beautifully light yet Crispy. The potatoes were well cooked and seasoned well and was a pleasant surprise for me. If I had any critique it was that I prefer my pickled cabbage a bit more vinegary and for the schnitzel to have slightly more Seasoning (but that is only me being very critical as this meal was near perfection). Portion sizes are huge and generous for the price point. The crepe consisted of strawberries, blackberries and Nutella topped with a generous amount of Icing Sugar and Whipped cream. It was a wonderfully balanced dessert and an excellent way to end the meal. I will mention the Star of the night was the apple strudel my husband had, it was one of the best desserts we've ever had; amazingly Crispy, Flakey and flavourful. If you get anything while you are there, make sure it is the strudel! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall recommend 100%

Myself and my friend Kristin ate lunch at this gem today. The place is small but the impression is big. It’s all the little details that make this a wonderful experience. From the decor to the staff to the plating, it is obvious that a lot of thought has gone into everything that’s done here. The menu is small but everything looks amazing and I had a hard time choosing. The beet salad was light, fresh and delicious and the latkes had a beautiful crisp on them. Of course I tried the strudel… an abundance of tart apples with a bit of crunch and very delicate and rich tasting pastry. Just heavenly! Amazing food, excellent service from Michelle and sunshine on the patio…what more could you ask for? I will definitely be back.

INCREDIBLE!!!!! Such a beautiful place!!! The vibe in there is just Zen! Small, quaint and the perfect atmosphere for a romantic dinner or a pleasant get together!! We did the romantic dinner for two and both my wife and I just love this restaurant!! The decor is subtle but has a beautiful traditional Germanic look and feel to it. Jackie (Jacqui, Jacky😊) the host and table attendant was just wonderful!! Took care of the whole floor and was just a joy to have there, she's a beautiful addition to this place! The food!!!!! OFF. THE. HOOK!!! Brilliant proportions, the display is artistic and creative. The taste is exquisite!! Prices are on par with what you would expect and so worth every bite!! We'll definitely be going back when we're in the area!!!! Just go!!! It's in Port Dalhousie and SOOOO worth it!!!!!

Our Airbnb was just down the road and the reviews and menu looked quite good. KaiserHaus did not disappoint. The wait staff were all very friendly, great decor/atmosphere, and the food was devilishly delicious! Some great wines on offer and they made a hell of a Pimm’s cup. Will be going back tomorrow for Sunday brunch and really looking forward to it. Can’t recommend this place enough!

I came yesterday and ordered the cheese and spaetzel and my dad got the schnitzel plate. They were both delicious meals and both waiters were super sweet. The drinks we got were very light and not too sweet, which was perfect after coming off the docks. The view was lovely as well! Will definitely make the trip from Toronto down there again for the food.

We hired KaiserHaus to cater our wedding and it was fantastic. Colleen and Jacob developed a menu based on their goulash and schnitzel offerings at the restaurant and it proved very popular with our guests. The goulash was richly flavoured, while the schnitzel was tender and served with spaetzle. The team's service and attention to detail was top notch and made our meal a definite highlight of the wedding reception. We cannot recommend KaiserHaus enough and look forward to enjoying many more meals at the bistro.

My husband, toddler, and I ate here for dinner. It's a super cute, intimate space, with beautiful decor all inspired by A Midsummer Night's Dream. The staff are very friendly and they were so accommodating and kind for my toddler even though it's clear they never have kids that young there (they don't have high chairs, though they do have a kid-sized schnitzel platter!). The menu is relatively small (which I like) but the food was just okay for the price and it took a really long time to come (we waited for almost an hour, which is a lot for a toddler!). The pretzel was super good and of course the kid loved it so I definitely recommend that. The schnitzel seems to be a kind of signature dish and it was okay but not amazing (a little dry). For the schnitzel sandwich, the bun is way too small for the size of the schnitzel so it all just kind of fell apart. Overall I'd say it's a nice atmosphere with okay but overpriced food. Note that there's only one washroom.

Such a nice place. Great atmosphere, feels cozy and comfortable. Great service and great food. I had the vegetarian sandwich and it was fantastic. They also have a patio facing the marina and blankets for cold days. Love the decor inside.

Our family chose this spot for dinner while on vacation and we are still talking about it two days later! Everything was authentic and delicious with the perfect little touches on every meal. We collectively tried and loved the schnitzel, the duck, the house salad, the fish and chips and the spaetzel and cheese... all were absolutely delicious. It felt like eating the perfect home cooked meal while being away from home. And the service was so genuine and friendly. If we lived here, we'd be regulars!

What a treasure to discover! We had the most wonderful dinner - the food was spot on (excellent Schnitzel, Spaetzle and red cabbage, not to mention the most delicious warm Pretzels!!!), service was friendly and knowledgeable and the space itself so charming and welcoming. So much attention to detail, including the most beautiful decoration on the drinks as well with some seasonal edible flowers. Loved it and will definitely be back next time we are into town!

Decided to go and try the Kaiser house today after looking at their menu online. Not the food menu, but the wine menu. For a restaurant to have so many perfect selections available I figured why not go try the food. Thankfully the food did not disappoint. We had the most delicious buttery pretzel followed with goolash and the biggest schnitzel I’ve ever seen. On the wine front we decided to have the Fogolar Cab Franc and it was a great pairing at a reasonable price. Thanks to Jackie and the team for a great evening. We will be back

Minutes away from Niagara falls, this lovely and cozy restaurant, has a fantastic view of the Marina. Jackie our server was fantastic, she prepares the best cocktails!! We enjoyed their fresh and tasty Haus Salad (order it with crumbled blue cheese!) followed by a couple of amazing, perfectly breaded flavourful Schnitzels. But, the king of the night was their home made apple Strudel. We would drive back from Toronto, just to eat here again!

This is a wonderful restaurant with great ambience and delicious food on the menu. Set in idyllic Port Dalhousie, this restaurant offers a wide variety of choices for any dietary need. The portions are just right and the staff are very polite and ensure that you have a great experience. The Sacher Torte is a must try.

Cozy place on the water with a beautiful and artistic atmosphere. And homemade German food, I can recommend the schnitzel plate! I will definitely come back here to try more menu items.

Delicious European food A hidden gem in St Catherine’s, great food in an unpretentious atmosphere. Large portions and reasonable prices. We took Jackie’s recommendations for food and local wineries to visit and she did not disappoint! Hopefully we will make it back again one day

We ordered takeout/curbside pick up through their online website. Super easy to do. The order was brought out promptly to our car at the time we ordered it for pick up and the food was still very hot and fresh when we got home. We got the Bavarian pretzel with cheese sauce, Hungarian goulash and schnitzel sandwich. Every single meal order was absolutely amazing. Very authentic and delicious German food. I hope soon to dine in as the outside looks very nice as well. But for getting takeout it was beyond great. I highly recommend it.

Had the goulash and it was exceptional! Very comparable to the genuine thing in Hungary. Cute little place, nice staff, love their logo.

Was really looking forward to eating here this evening, went in and gave my number around 5:30PM and was told the wait would be 45 minutes for a table, for a Saturday night that seemed not too bad! After waiting for over 2 hours without that notification text, we found somewhere else to eat. Some kind of message would have been appreciated.

A beautiful little gem in Port Dalhousie, very small and cozy restaurant, very friendly staff and great blend of German and eastern-European food. Everything was very tasty, but I would definitely recommend the pretzel and the Goulash.

. The atmosphere was really lovely - felt like we were stepping into a magazine. The food was delicious too. The schnitzel sandwich and fish and chips were cooked perfectly, and the portion meant that we have lunch today. Highly recommend this place.

The food at KaiserHaus is consistently excellent. The goulash is so so so good! My family came here to eat on the adorable patio for our first meal out since lockdown and we were thoroughly impressed. Excellent service with very informed staff, delicious food, interesting drinks, and a beautiful view! Thank you!

We ordered the HAUS SOUP (Cauliflower & Dill with Haus Made Spaetzle Noodles) and it was delicious. It was exactly what we felt like. Very good soup. The rest of the food on the menu also looked really yummy. Cute place and friendly staff! Definitely going back! Highly recommended.

Great friendly service at this cozy spot for lunch. Super tasty pork schnitzel sandwich and potato pancakes. I am not a beer drinker but the lemon charcoal radler was amazingly delicious! The schnitzel is moist and crispy and the salad was fresh and yummy. Have returned many times and will continue to do so. Make yourself a regular!

Excellent experience! My wife and I enjoyed a glass of wine and expertly prepared Schnitzel on the patio overlooking the marina, on a beautiful early-summer afternoon. Good wine list, awesome food, outstanding atmosphere and friendly service. A treat for foodies who know what to look for and recognize excellence. Go!
