It's like going back in time and walking into a hardware store with people that not only want to help but know what they're doing as well. I was in the store for 10 seconds before someone approached me, offering help. Ultimately Adam helped me with a a 40 cent repair job rather then sell me an new door handle, I will be back! Worth the drive!

Very helpful staff at the plumbing section. I had to make two trips because of my own fault as I didn't get the complete assembly I needed to replace with me. They helped as best they can and when I returned, there was no issue to swap with the actual part I needed paying just for the difference.

Very disappointed that I could not pick up my CURBSIDE pick up order without waiting in a line up that wasn't just for curbside pick up. There should be 2 lines, those who are shopping and those that actually ordered online and just need a quick pick up. Not thought out at all.

I love browsing or shopping in any of their stores. The service is excellent. You don't have to look too far for a staff member, for help. If there is something you want and it isn't in the store, they most always look to see if the item is in stock or it can be ordered.

I have been shopping at this store for the past 20 years. This is a really good store. Employees are nice and helpful. I had a bad experience with only a woman cashier. I purchased 4 bags of 20 kg ice salt. She charged me $14.49 each bag telling me the price went up. A week later I went to purchase 2 more bags. She had a hard time finding the item number and there was a young employee and he told her the item numbers by head, and the price was $6.99. I asked why did you charge me double the price a week ago? She said she can not memorize all the item codes. Which I understand but how many customers have been overcharged to buy this cashier? I asked her to fix my previous purchase. She said it was too late and I have to talk with the owner who is not in today, however Joe helped me out. I am wondering if she does it with intention or because she doesn't know anything.

This is my local Home Hardware store and I have been dealing with Wayne for a breaker that I was looking to install on my panel at home. I would have preferred a 40 AMP breaker but you can’t find one anywhere. Wayne was very helpful and I came back to his store specifically because of his friendly demeanour to buy a 30 AMP breaker. It will still work for my application and he was so helpful that I cad to come back. I would recommend this local store to anyone.

This store has been a staple in the community as long as I can remember. Great staff, I would rather go to Home Hardware as opposed to Home Depot. Keep up the good job

One of the last "family" stores in the area. The staff are amazing! Prices are on par with the big box stores and the staff actually know what they're talking about. Highly recommend stopping in!

This is one of the best home hardware stores on the face of the Earth. Went in looking for somethings I needed and I asked a random gentleman with a snazzy home hardware shirt on and he helped me get what I needed was super polite and handsome and I was on my way out. The cashiers were also very lovely and had me out of there in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this store to everyone even if you don't like hardware.

I would like to comment on both Home Hardware's we have two in St Catharìnes, one on Scott Street, and one on Hartzel Rd. They have everything you need for home repair and more. I visit both stores depending on witch end of the city I'm in. Also the staff at both stores are knowledgeable in whatever you need. And very kind, they treat you with respect I enjoy either store. I called about 15 different places in the Niagara Region, looking for a product to test paint for lead. I finally found a kit at this Home Hardware. I have 37-year-old oil-based cement paint on the floor of my basement laundry room. I need to remove it, but wanted to make sure it was safe to do so. This store had several lead test kits available, and the young man I talked to on the phone kindly put one aside for me until I could drive there to pick it up. Great customer service!!

Great service. The sales rep that assisted me wasn't able to provide the product I was looking for because it has been discontinued. However, he did phone their other locations and eventually recommended me to another store that did have what I needed. I appreciated the willingness to help me until I was able to acquire what I needed even if it did mean sending me to a different store.

Came from Niagara Falls because this store was supposed to have item I needed and our local HH did not. Arrived at 5:30pm and store was closed. No explanation posted. Posted store hours till 6pm. Do not waste time with this location, find other HomeHardware.

Usually they are pretty good here, were all out of porch and floor paint,had to go to Grantham home hardware

Ordered four pails of paint over the phone and was ready for pick up in one hour. Contactless payment made it easy to check out at curbside pick up.

Nice little store. The more I shop and home hardware the more I like over the big box stores. They have everything you need for your basic home improvement and construction. Staff is more helpful and friendlier than HD. I find myself shopping more at HH over HD this year. Quicker shopping experience and selection is not sacrificed. Must try.

Took a VERY long time to get my order. One phone call and 12 days later, I got a phone call from them telling me my order is ready. Still no email for that, but we head in. It still took the poor guy at least a good 30 minutes just to find the items! Just a very very long wait for an items that is not in high demand... and thats annoying.

I love supporting Home Hardware in general, but this store is a bit of a mess. As in - it's messy, and likely needs a reno soon. Staff are alright, retail jobs suck and I don't judge them for not being super excited to help a customer. The older staff are great, very helpful and skilled.

I put an I on reserve and the attendant was nice and I told her that my wife would pick the item the next day. The lady I spoke to said no problem it would be there for her. My wife came home with the item but said the store clerk was very rude to her. I do a lot of business at home hardware, just might rethink where I spend my money.
