    Love this place. The staff are top notch, always friendly and helpful. I couldn't find a toy for my son and the went out of their way to spend 20 minutes checking the backrooms and called another store when it couldn't be found. St.Catharines is lucky to have this gem.

    Very impressed with the customer service at this store. I called to ask about purchasing a bike during the lockdown for my son. Kim went out of her way to check if the bike I wanted was in stock, took his measurements and checked to see if the bike we wanted would be appropriate, and then even had someone assemble the bike and let my son sit on it in the parking lot to make sure it was the right height before we purchased it. To be honest we also called Canadian Tire to ask about one of their bikes and they wouldn’t even give us the time of day. Thank you so much for going out of your way to ensure he got the right size bike!

    I just wanted to share my shopping experience at the Baby's r Us store in St Catharine's. I have been attempting to purchase a stroller for my daughter who lives in Tofino BC. It was impossible to navigate the purchase. I attended the store here and was assisted by two employees, (Sheri & Lara) Their expertise and assistance was exceptional. They found the product and it was ordered without incident. If every store had employees such as these, the retail experience would be enjoyable.     Better locations. Staff in the baby department circled around talking most of my browsing time. When it was time to find someone to help with getting me a car seat they were no where to be found until they were and then it was almost burdening to them to get the car seat. Ordering online is better for selection anyways.

    Large store with lots of selection. Great toy selection, large boys and girls section and huge book area. Good size baby area with lots of clothes and care items, carseats and strollers. Friendly and helpful staff.

    I didn't interact much with the employees while I shopped but when I was waiting in the checkout line I witnessed some gross behavior by Carrie (her badge said leader). She was being so rude to the other women working at the cash register. There was a fairly big line and she was called for backup and she came storming in barking at the other staff. A leader should not be treating other members of their staff like this and should not be acting like this in front of customers. It is not a good look on the store or of management.

    Tiffany was a huge help today. I was looking for a specific set of crib sheets and couldn't find them. She looked the number up on the computer and saw that they just came in on today's shipment. She went into the back and found them for me. Great customer service at this location. Thank you!!

    A huge shout out to the staff at Toys R Us in St. Catharines today. Store was extremely busy and all staff were assisting with enthusiasm and efficiency.     Great service by a manager in St. Catharines location. I purchased something for a discount with the combo of purchasing a gift card instead of another item same time (which they normally don't do), but the manager made it happen! In today's world, saving costs where you can is helpful. Thank you and Happy New Year. 🎉

    The aisles were clean and shelves fully stocked. All the discounts were very clearly posted. All of this made my Christmas shopping take less than ten minutes in the Lego aisle. Being an uncle my holiday shopping isn't as challenging as some, but nevertheless I found the entire experience a delight. I also found the associate Heather at check-out did a fantastic job of patiently helping me bumble my way through the cashing out process.

    Amazing customer service at the St. Catharines location. Every single employee we came in contact with was very helpful and friendly, even though we were coming in closer to closing time. Danielle was our cashier and she was so sweet and pleasant. Love shopping at the St. Catharines location.

    Yesterday, I was nicely surprised to receive outstanding customer service from seasonable professional Sherri with lovely assistance of Tiffany. They helped me to pick the right stroller for a special boy of over 4 years old. They not only showed and explained its use to me but also provided with a great sale's discount! Please come there and you will be helped and served on the highest level of service ever possible. Thank you, Sherri & Tiffany!!

    I was in the St Catherines store recently...shopping for my 5 yr old granddaughter. My daughter gave me some of her Christmas wish list items. Well I found the item she wanted on a shelf so I got the colour she would like....picked up a few more items for her & proceeded to the checkouts. To my surprise the item that she specifically wanted that was on a shelving end unit marked at $20.97....rang up as $34.99. Apparently it was on the wrong shelf.... the shelf above the item was the $20.97 item but a different model. To my dismay...the cashier Alana had someone check the shelf to make sure....he came back and explained that it was only the shelf above where my item was and confirmed the $34.99 price. Something I couldn't afford.... so I said I'll just have to shop around and hopefully find it elsewhere on sale. Well to my astonishment Jon ( I believe store manager/ supervisor) said absolutely not!! I won't have you driving all over to get a better price elsewhere...you will get that price...here at Toys R Us...today!!! I almost cried! I am a minimum wage worker and try to do the best for my family especially for my granddaughter. It means alot to have someone be so kind and understanding & help make your day!! Well Alana & Jon made my Christmas and helped me make my Granddaughters even more special!! Thank goodness for great people!!

    The manager named Pat told me that I could exchange a halloween costume I bought the day prior because I got the wrong size. When I got to the store, they told me I couldn’t exchange the costume. What a mess toys R us. You didn’t just waste my time, you also broke my child’s heart. What happened to making kids happy. Go back and read your mission and vision. Very unprofessional.

    Had a great experience in store today while doing some Christmas shopping for my kids. I was overwhelmed in the store looking for help, and although an employee named Carrie was busy, she stopped what she was doing to approach and help me. She took it upon herself to go to the back and dig through skids of products just to help me find what I was looking for. Shopping around Christmas gives me so much anxiety and Carrie’s approachable and friendly personality changed my whole experience. The manager John and cashier Danielle were both lovely as well, and helped make my shopping experience exceptional today. Thank you very much and happy holidays !

    Canadian veteran just before leaving for Dominican republic for Felix Navidad and honestly I love the look in there eyes when they get there gift..hate shopping...Staff St Catharines honestly explained my mental and shopping struggles..with out a blink was aware of your boundaries and needs a guided me to your needs..with love honor and a mom's honesty..veteran appreciation for your support truly ❤️

    I get that you want to prevent shoplifting but it’s really off-putting when staff follow you around the store, watching you. I’m an autistic adult and I already have enough problems with self esteem and fitting in, and I really don’t like being looked at and interrogated like I’m a shoplifter. Guess I’ll stick to Amazon. Sad because I used to love this store as a kid.

    I haven't had many experiences at Toys r' us / Babies r' us, but I just did this evening and it was great. The entire staff was kind, friendly, knowledgeable and very very helpful. I received some extra help from Jill (who assisted me in the babies r us side). Jill was very very helpful, continued to do her best to get me more and more info for products I was getting for my wife and newborn. The assistance was so greatly appreciated. On top of that, due to my later arrival, they stayed open a couple extra minutes to make sure that I found/got what I needed with no pressure or rush. A great store and great staff. Definitely would recommend.

    I visited this location on Sunday and I have to say my experience was amazing. I called to see if an item was in stock and spoke to Lynn, she said there was 1 left. I asked if they could hold it. She said they aren't supposed to. I was in the car and didn't want to drive half hour only to get there and have it be sold out. So she kept it on the side for me. When I got there she brought it to the cash for me, it was a pretty big and heavy box and I had 2 little toddlers with me. The cashier was also super friendly, she actually apologized while they were making sure to scan the sale price. Like no thank you for making sure to scan the sale price. Lynn then helped bring the box to my car and tried to help me get it in the trunk, which it didn't fit. Then tried to help me put it in the front which again didn't fit. She then helped me open the box and put it in the trunk and fold up the box. What an awesome experience. I would definitely come back.

    Mary in Babies R Us is the best. Ask for her if you need anything. She is so knowledgeable and patient. She helped me with issues when I could not get the right help with the chatbot due to online server issues. Great person!!! Thanks Mary for your help.

    Went last weekend so my 6 year old could officially become a Toys R US kid. What a wonderful experience, friendly staff! Worth the trip to Canada just to see the full sized stores again!

Pat went out of her way to help me find exactly what I was looking for in a new double stroller that would work with my existing car seat and helped me find the best price in my budget!     I was assisted by Pat in regards to a purchase I made for my new grandchild. We had just bought an item and was having some issues with it. I called the store and Pat was kind and understanding, she told me to come into the store, ask for her and she would resolve our concerns. She was able to fix the problem and we were very pleased with her professionalism and desire to help the customer. Now my husband and I can just enjoy our time with our new grand baby. Thank you.

    The more I go to toys r us, the more I realize it’s harder to find good toys. I did 3 laps and I literally had to force myself to buy something for my kids. The toys aren’t the greatest anymore in general.

    When your friends and family have little ones with birthdays and you have no idea what to buy them, toys r us is the best. There's stuff for every age in here and the staff are very helpful if you ask them questions. It usually takes me at least ten minutes to get through the purchasing part though. Either there's too few cashiers or they don't know how to give a gift receipt or something... Also when I did my baby registry here they claimed there were a bunch of benefits that I wasn't able to cash in on due to some hidden rules that were not communicated to me at the time. Maybe I'm just unlucky.

    There are a lot of options here, but I could find any batman colouring or activity books. Needed for a 4 your olds 2 day car ride. Batman always has been and always will be his FAVOURITE super hero.

    The manager Jill and her staff are wonderful! There was an issue with a jogger travel system we purchased from our registry, and Jill and the team were a huge help ensuring we could get an exchange for the travel system! The staff are very kind and knowledgeable on the products they supply, and always provide prompt service at checkout as well!

    I had the good luck of dealing with the same cashier twice in 1 visit on december 18 - Victoria. She had this very happy aura about her! Her attitude and interaction with me both times exuded an "I'm so happy to be here and help you today" appearance. So refreshibg these days! And of course she was very helpful and knowledgeable and quick! Love Toys R Us and Victoria is one of the reasons why!

    Visited St Catharines Toys R Us at 11 am intending to buy my great granddaughter a doll that I had seen online. I'm a senior and that store is huge. I asked Megan who had a toys r us name tag if toys online might not be on the shelf - her response was probably. She didnt ask what I was looking for or if she could help. I walked up n down aisles but left empty handed.

    Three weeks ago (12 May 2022) I called the store and spoke with Pat, a store manager, to inquire about the availability of a helmet made by Hasbro. The store did not have the item, but Pat could see in the inventory system that it was available elsewhere. I explained that I live in Whitby, that the store in Whitby did not have the item, and that I was anxious to find one, for it was to be a birthday gift for my son. Pat said she would look into it and would call me back. 30 minutes later, she did. She said she had tracked one down and would arrange for it to be sent to the Whitby store. Today the helmet arrived and soon after Pat phoned me to ask if I had received the helmet. I told her how happy my son was that he got what he had been dreaming of and how impressed I was by the outstanding customer service Pat provided. Thanks so much, Pat! I appreciate your help very much!

    I have been here a few times and the supervisor aimee is absolutely amazing! She plays with my kids and entertains them while I’m cashing out or if my toddler has a tantrum she goes above and beyond to make them smile and has very good conversation with me. Today I was on the hunt for a stroller that’s a certain size collapsed and Lynn had helped me and she was absolutely phenomenal! She spent at least half an hour with a measuring tape and strollers. She was taking every stroller that’s more compact and folding them and measuring every little one and comparing pricing and not once did she make me feel like a burden. She played with my son and we had a lot of great conversation and she was genuinely happy to help me and show me options and give me details about the options I didn’t even know existed! She was amazing and I can’t thank her enough for her help! I’ve had experiences where staff (at other locations) huff and puff and treat you like you’re wasting their time but here especially with Lynn and Aimee that would never happen. They’re so sweet and genuine and I’m beyond happy! Thank you Lynn and Aimee!

    Love this store/location. I had a recent experience with manager, Pat. She went out of her way to secure a specific action figure for me, it wasn’t in stock at their location but she could see it was in stock at another one close by and she arranged to have it brought to St.Catharines. All the staff I have encountered here are really nice and helpful. Highly recommend a visit here!

    This staff went above and beyond to solve a problem at the front checkout and went way outside the box to do so. Unbelievable customer service, efforts and team work by Aimee and her co-workers Sheena and Jenelly. Also the 2 gentlemen standing by in support. They all deserve a raise or promotion.

    This has been my favourite store for shopping kids gifts my entire life. My grandmother worked here for many years and so I’ve become quite familiar with the store and it’s staff. All the employees are caring and considerate. The managers always treat you with the upmost respect. I suggest anyone looking for a gift or to spoil your children to checkout ToysRUs St. Catharines!
