A tiny slice of peaceful paradise - lush and simple plantings surround a dedication stone. The benches are the comfy, curving metal kind that encourage a restful stay. The views out over the lake are framed by the bushes and extend so far the gradation of colour to the water is remarkably visible and easy to appreciate. Granite blocks and and a stoney shore ensure the lake activity is clearly audible, while the trees host birds that provide an auditory counterpoint. Bliss!

Ever since the yuppies started moving in this place is less and less private. Instead of ticketing the jay walkers they have added no smoking signs.

Took my nephew and a telescope last night. A decent view of the north and west sky however there is a near by street light.

Benches, plants, trees, and waves lapping on the shore. The sun glinting on the waves, and the scent of fresh, open water on the air. What more can you ask for?

The sunsets are simply breathtaking. Nice little spot to go for that stroll after supper. Highly recommended!!
