😐 The sweet potato taco was pretty awesome! The chicken sandwich however was incredibly small and what seemed to be two microwaved patties. The service could've been better too, it's unbelievably slow. Took 20 minutes (!) after we sat down on a Monday night to just get out beer ordered, then another... The sweet potato taco was pretty awesome! The chicken sandwich however was incredibly small and what seemed to be two microwaved patties. The service could've been better too, it's unbelievably slow. Took 20 minutes (!) after we sat down on a Monday night to just get out beer ordered, then another 10 to get to our table.

One of the most beautiful restaurants I've seen in Port Dalhousie. Food was fantastic and the service was even better! Caramel carrot cheesecake was over the top delicious! Thank you, Portside, for a wonderful lunch experience!

What a great little spot! One of the best looking menus I’ve seen in ages, loved the influence of jerk flavoured items such as a jerk chicken burger, jerk wings and even a jerk quesadilla. Service was good, the location was nice with a good view from their patio and the mixed drinks where great! One negative about my visit was that two of us in our party ordered the rib-eye which they didn’t have then my second option was the slow braised rib which they didn’t have either but I will give this place the benefit of the doubt and would love to go back! Try it out everyone!!

Went to this spot on a whim with our kids last weekend with no reservation. We had a nice booth spot at the back of the restaurant. The lighting and atmosphere were really cool and enjoyable. Good music playing just loudly enough also but not annoying or difficult to have conversations. The kids menu featured a delicious proper ground chuck burger, fries and pizza. I also had the double pep pizza which features cup and char. Our server was nice and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. Overall it was a really nice experience and I’d like to return with just my partner again. The bill with tip ended up being $120 tax incl. Picture of my pizza and wine included in the review. Thanks again.

Staff was awesome and very helpful. Beer selection was ok, would have liked to have seen more Ontario selections (lots of big brew stuff). Had Calamari for an app, came out super fast but it was a little bit undercooked. You can see in the pic very little color on it. I had wings for a main and they were really good. Not the most amazing wings but cooked well, batter wasn't super thick. Girlfriend had the goat cheese tortellini and I think fell in love with it. She really enjoyed it. Prices are awesome. Nothing on the menu was over $20 and the portion and quality was good in comparison to the price. I think we'd be back and I'm excited for them to be able to open up a bit more.

We sat on the patio, it overlooks the marina and is quite lovely. There were 5 of us for dinner tonight. Probably the worst meal we’ve had in a long time. The fries were soggy and cold, the Brie sandwich was loaded with hard slices of pears, the spinach dip pita points were burnt. We let the waitress know this and she was unfazed. This restaurant is lucky they are in a vibrant area and will not hurt for customers, regardless of the food quality!

Nice bar. $16 Classic brisketburger was a little dry & on the tough side. Good fries. Great ambiance. Nicely situated for an after meal stroll on the pier.

It was a fantastic experience. We didn't initially plan to go here, but when we passed by the restaurant, the place's charm caught our eye, and we ended up going in and staying there. The bartender/waitress was amiable and even fulfilled my extra request. The food was delicious. I can only recommend it to everyone, if you are going to visit here for a tour.

Food was quite good and Calamari tasty but that Bruchetta pizza with shrimp was fantastic. Service was attentive and friendly.

This place was ok! Best part was the atmosphere and the kind servers. The food was mid — not bad but not great either. We had fish and chips (the best of our meals), chicken parm and the salmon. It took a while to get our food but it came out hot and fresh.

Love it here! Food is super good and looks delicious as well (perfect for photos). Service was incredibly friendly and sweet and the restaurant is just a comfortable and cozy place to be in. I’ve come multiple times and I love it every time.

If I could give zero stars I would….this is our second attempt. We are very local and we wanted this restaurant to be awesome. Unfortunately, it has disappointed us for a second time. First visit the service was dreadful. They were also out of one of the entrees and out of mashed potatoes…yes, mashed potatoes!! Lack of effort?? Anyways, this time around we paid $6 for parking to start. From there it went progressively down hill. Our server seemed to lack passion, and also seemed very unmotivated. I tried to order mussels…naaah, no mussels today!! Seems strange as they don’t seem in short supply at any of our local grocers. My wife waited 15 mins for a glass of wine…I could only get a couple of mins out of my dad joke that they must be chasing the grapes around out back!! Then the app I cancelled after finding out they were out of mussels showed up….sent it back and waited impatiently as my family had there mains…was the order even placed??? My wife ordered the gluten free bun and it was as cold as an ice cube….it should also be noted that a frozen beyond meat burger and sweet potato fries cost a whopping $31 bucks!!! My daughters grilled cheese was topped with raw pears?? The wings were good…the pizza was as soggy as a sponge that had been abandoned in the bottom of a bucket for 3 to 4 days!! When the bill arrived the app was on the bill….very disappointing….After a couple of chances I can recommend the beer….great location, terrible service, awful food, and all for the low price of $140 + $6 for parking, for a family of 3!! Avoid like the plague as there are waaaaay better options in this small area in Port Dalhousie. We will not be back….ever!!!

My son and I had the chicken wings, they were big and delicious. Our waitress excellent, didn’t get her name 🙃. Looking forward to going back!

I took my parents here the Saturday evening before Mother's Day and we had a great dinner. We had a reservation and were seated immediately (we were early for our reservation). Service was great. Our drinks, apps and entrees were quick to arrive but not so that we felt like we were being rushed out. The most important part, the food, was fantastic! We started with the peach and jalapeno baked brie-great combination, and had the crispy chicken sandwich, tortellini and jambalaya for our mains. The jambalaya was enough for 2 meals (and was delicious both times) and the sandwich and tortellini were very much enjoyed.

The wings were good but the nachos was that good it lacked salt on it. Overall the atmosphere was nice, there was live music playing.

We got the burgers and a pepperoni pizza. Clearly, the ownership here feels that all the food served should be of the highest quality. I had no idea that French fries could be so good! May very well be the best burger in town. Toppings and cheese were generous on the pizza. Service was impeccable.

Had the most fantastic cosmo I've ever had. The salmon dish was also delicious, as was the fried chicken sandwich, and the fries were addictive! We'll definitely be back.

The Portside is an excellent restaurant offering a great menu of steak, chicken, Italian and tacos. Great bar and spirits selection as well as a good assortment of deserts. The atmosphere is very trendy and warming at the same time offering a casual dining experience of small or large groups. Included is a great outdoor patio with fantastic view of the harbour. The wait time is almost nil. Public parking close by and wheel chair access is available. Highly recommend

Perfect place for a cozy dinner. The staff is friendly and prompt. The food !! So delicious. The fish and chips ! Nice spot on the patio in the summer. Great addition to Port Dalhousie. Looking forward to many meals here ! 10/10 🙂

I had a pleasant evening and first meal at the Portside Social. Located in the building that once housed a childhood favorite. This establishment provides Port with another good eatery. My meal which included two beers, sandwiches and one dessert was about $70.00. We had a burger and the fried chicken sandwich. These prices unfortunately are inline with what is being charged now. The food was fresh and hand made. I enjoyed the decor, and since we arrived before the dinner rush it was relatively quiet. I would return when in the area.

Really cute bar down at the port. They have a little patio outside which is nice to sit out on when it’s warm. Our waitress was great and very attentive. Has a great vibe and really good drinks and food as well. I would definitely go there again!

Outstanding meal here. I had the Maple Glazed Salmon and my colleague had the Rib-eye. The staff does an amazing job of describing anything on the menu and the ambiance is very cool. Can’t wait to come back!

Most of us enjoyed our meals. I enjoyed the perch. The pizza the kids said was soggy and VERY greasy. No one complained. However the chicken sandwich was ordered by the birthday girl and it smelled heavily of fish. The waitress was good and quickly asked what we would like as a replacement. We all assumed (as any other restaurant would) that the unsatisfactory meal was removed from the bill. The oil is seems off or old. The replacement meal took a long time and the wings that came also tasted of old oil. We didn’t complain we just went with it. My wife said her chicken sandwich also tasted like fish but she eats fish so she ate it. The more it stewed that the chicken. Sandwich was not comped it bothered me. No manager visited us, no apology and we had to also pay for it. Left a bad taste in our mouth in a few ways. For the $500 our group spent we feel a bit ripped off because of the way they dealt with the 1 meal we commented about. I hope this helps improve the quality in the restaurant.

Enjoyed a great dinner tonight with an beautiful view. . Service and food were fantastic. We ordered Caesar salad, crab cakes, spicy paella and pesto risotto (recommended by our server and did not disappoint). As you can see in the pics, food looks great too, well plated and generous portions. Great ambiance, nice decor. A must try next time you are in PD.

Fast service, good prices and great menu selection. We happened to stop by for happy hour, enjoyed some well priced drinks and had the fried fish and shrimp entrees. All was good, we were happy with our selection while coming through this quaint little area.

Really lovely! Beautiful restaurant with a charming patio. Super sweet, friendly staff and great food. We ordered takeout and it was fast, fresh, and fantastic. Try the burgers! My husband got the pulled pork burger and there wasn’t a crumb left. Highly recommended.

Great service, nice whiskey selection, perfect baked brie and excellent cheesecake. Perfect if you're looking for a patio. Will have to go back and have a fill meal - the menu seems promising

Great spot for drinks. Had the perch and there was no salt used, so therefore no flavour at all. Not a place to go for food, but drinks are on point.

The cauliflower bites, melted brie with pita and pear, and crab cakes were delicious tasty appetizers we shared at our table. Our main meals of fish and pasta were flavourful too! Over drinks of beer and sangria, we loved socializing with friends on the outdoor scenic patio. It was a wonderful evening of great food shared with special friends.

We ate on the patio, the service was great and the quality of food was excellent, I had the Perch Dinner and my wife had the beef ribs, both were very good. Their cocktails are not only mixed well, but also very reasonably priced. The location is good, but the patio is small. Highly recommended.
