My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Mr. Mikes Steakhouse in St. Catharines last night, it was the best steaks we had. We enjoyed our dinner and the experience at Mr. Mikes! Today I ordered the Tomato Bruschetta (4 pieces) off the happy hour menu. It was perfect size for a snack. We also ordered the Crackling Sirloin Bites off the full menu. It was “mass good” my partner would say. Good visit!

Found Mr Mikes on Google search and this restaurant did not disappoint. Our party of four ordered Filet mignon and New York and the Chicken Quesadilla. The steaks were cooked to perfection . Great food, great service. Highly recommended.

I had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant. The service was outstanding; I was seated promptly, and the food arrived quickly. The ambiance, with funny pictures on the walls, added to the enjoyment. The place was spotless, which is always appreciated. And the star of the meal was the steak. It was truly incredible.

My boyfriend and I went out to eat here. The server forgot a few times when we asked for something, but he was polite. The food was good I got a steak sandwich. It was literally a piece of steak on a half a bun. To me, it needed something. So I ordered a side of mushrooms and onions to put on top. I kind of expected more than a steak on a bun,Some sauce or something would have been nice. Spin dip was delicious Overall, we weren't disappointed.

Where do I even begin, if I could give this place a 0 star I would! I didn’t even take any photos of the food from how disgusting it was. Think of frozen food reheated and served on a plate, the crazy part is the food is pricey which makes you think the chefs know what they’re doing. Wrong, the burger meat was frozen and thrown on a grill, not even seasoned, don’t expect buns you’ll be receiving cut up sandwich bread for their burgers (imagine paying anywhere from 17-22$….might as well hit up McDonald’s). Starters are not even edible, their spinach dip and lobster dip are inedible and taste artificial. Don’t even get me started on our server Kent, started out with jokes but ended up seeming very impatient and aggravated, it’s like every order was a hassle. If you’re thinking of dropping money on this place hit up anywhere else please!

Went for my son's birthday dinner, and had a friend with us. Disaster from the moment I walked in and asked if they had room for 4 without a reservation. The reply was "do you mind sitting in the dining room?" We ordered garlic cheese bread. We got garlic toast. When the meals arrived,our friend's food was cold. Sent it back. Returned with warmed up mash, and cold steak. Then warm steak and cold mashed. Etc. After sending it back a total of 3 times, we gave up. Let's eat and get out of here. The steaks were full of gristle, and my baked salmon was dry. They offered us a free dessert as compensation. My son had it as a birthday treat. With no booze, the bill was over $200 for 4 meals. Will never cross that threshold again. Wait staff were very pleasant. Possibly the kitchen staff were incompetent?

Just got done a Friday night dinner there 10 minutes ago. Please don’t eat there if you are reading this review. The sandwiches are awful - the meat is clearly just reheated from frozen. The fries are just the ones from Costco. Complete waste of money and everyone at the table was extremely disappointed with their meal. Now, not only was the food absolutely terrible but so was the service. Our server - Kent, was being overly sarcastic and rude to my friend throughout the night by doing things such as admonishing and trying to embarrass him just because he wanted to ring up his dessert order while ordering his entree because he knew the restaurant was closing soon. Overall, just an extremely disappointing experience.

Went to Mr. Mike's for the first time and was happy we did. My husband and I had a couple of apps, and steaks dinners with the Caesar salad and mushrooms. Fantastic!!! The food was delicious, wait staff pleasant and the manager came by to check on us. Food quality was great and steak cooked perfectly. It was a great experience. I do hope they keep the Aperol Spritz on the menu and not just a summer feature. We will be back soon.

This is not a place I would usually go for dinner (prefer non-chain/franchise restaurants), but we had a gift card so decided to try it out for dinner last night. Food was good, standard fare and was also very quick to come out of the kitchen. Service, however, was lacking. It was efficient but wasn’t particularly warm or pleasant. No personal touch and our server seemed like he didn’t want to be there. A food runner brought our entrees and 5 min after we received them our server came to tell us our food would be our shortly.. only then did he realize we already had it. There was a nearby table where our server and other servers kept sitting with the guests and socializing. When we were ready to pay we waited a long time for him to come over to take payment as he was sitting at the nearby table. We were there on a Friday night at prime time dinner - 7pm - and it wasn’t busy at all. I could forgive the wait and the lack of personal touch if it was busy and our server was clearly taking care of other guests, but that wasn’t the case. He seemed genuinely bored and preoccupied with the other table of guests. Food: 4 stars Service: 2 stars Overall: 3 stars

Very nice restaurant with great ambiance inside. Service was good and all four of our meals were prepared quickly and to our satisfaction. My wife is vegan and had the mushroom burger which she said was good however that is pretty much the only option for her. I had spare ribs and my son and daughter-in-law both had steak. I recommend Mr. Mikes for all steak lovers.

We were greeted politely and seated quickly. Service was prompt and helpful. The restaurant was warm and cozy. Hard 80s Rock music fills the air. Food is was served amazingly fast. Our steak was done exactly as ordered. If you are in a hurry - this place is a good choice. Compared to “the Keg” the pricing is similar but the quality of steak was so much less. The drinks are served with stale lemon and lime wedges that are so dried out - shows a real lack of effort by staff to present a high quality product. We don’t plan on returning.

Amazing service and they were so helpful. We just left like 5 minutes ago and I had to leave a review. Britt was our server but all the staff was excellent. With so much bad service these days out there...this place was refreshing and amazing customer service. Shame I am here in vacation and there are none of these in Ottawa. I would be a regular. A+++

BEST Steaks around! The service here was great, but the food was incredible. You pick your steak, toppings, seasonings, etc... just fun and delicious! We had a table of 8 and all left happy!

First time there tonight and we weren't disappointed! Food and drinks were excellent and our waitress Britt was outstanding! Excellent cheesecake with a candle for my birthday. Will definitely be going back.

You want an amazing dinner and great service, Mike's Steakhouse is the place to go. When we arrived, we were told to choose where we would like to sit. Greeted with friendly staff and the food..wow and very reasonable. Steaks, oscar sirloin and beef tenderloin, done to perfection. Comfortable atmosphere, for a great date night. Also our first time here but not our last.

This is our go-to place. Haven't had a bad experience there yet. 90% of the time our waiter is Ken and he is awesome. I like the variety of the menu options and have never been disappointed. It's a great place to go to get a good meal that the atmosphere is comfortable and easy to visit with your friends and family. As a bonus they have a great app that quickly earns you points with every time you go plus your birthday! Give them a try!!

Ordered for 5 people on phone 4 filets and 1 salmon 3 salads,panko shrimp and brushetta $303.83. Pick up was for 2.30 The food was excellent. When my wife went to pick-up the order the person told her if she ordered on line instead of over phone we would have saved 10%. My wife asked if she could get the discount as we were not aware of this and the girl said that was not possible as it was generated on the computer. After hearing this I thought, why didn't they tell us when we were ordering. I am sure if the person called the manager it could have been done. Not amused with the way this was handled on such a large takeout order. Staff needs to think a little more about customer service. Contacted Kelsey and she rectified my problem, Thanks.

Very welcoming on entering and friendly service, clean and spacious and the food is excellent try the tomato soup it's pretty special . Definitely will go again

Don't buy the salmon lmao I ordered out bc I had surgery and figured I'd give a local place a try and I regret it. So stupidly pricey for the keto baked salmon and the vegetables are just sad unseasoned peices of broccoli and carrots. No butter, no salt, no pepper, no onion powder, no garlic powder. Nevermind the arugula "salad" which was mainly just arugla, a couple half cherry tomatoes, about 5 peices of red onion, and a minor sprinkling of parmesan. The salmon is small and slightly crispy but not a showstopper- not juicy, not flakey, honestly I could have baked a better salmon. Overall my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined. Just kidding, my day isn't ruined, but I am disappointed at the quality and what I paid for. They probably excel in other things, just not the salmon dish.

I enjoyed my meal this time but it's a hit and miss with steak. The first time we went, it was amazing. The second was like Rubber. With the cost of meat, I would never order it again because I'd be afraid of getting the bad version. The shrimp taco, though not the best I've had, was good.

Steaks were burned, hard, and unseasoned. We ordered rib eye. It was a scam. I have never eaten such a bad rib eye before. Also, we ordered national chicken bites. It was like drinking oil. The service was terrible. They brought food without forks and knives. They didn't bring salt and pepper. We will never go back to that place. Honestly, I'm still surprised how people can sell steak under the name of rib eye. I'm sure it was some other cheap cut, not rib eye!

The service was good. The food was average. Average ribs, ok chicken tenders and the steak was below par. The apps we had were great. So if you are in the mood for some drinks and apps, I recommend this place. If you are in the mood for a great meal, go elsewhere

My beautiful gf got some gift cards from work for the holiday season so we got to try this place out. Now I'm open to the possibility of going on an off night but we went New Year's Eve 7pm and the place wasn't busy. First off the server completely forgot our drink order. Secondly the food presentation and portions were disappointing. Usually when I order a full rack of ribs I expect the rack to easily outsize one of my hands. Third and last of all no amount of a gift card can summon my return.

Overall it’s just ok. Service is great, but the atmosphere, food, and decor make this just another chain restaurant with absolutely nothing special to offer. Pricing is also very high for the quality of food you actually get. Steaks start at $30, but for the same price The Keg just does everything (and I mean everything) better. Mr. Mikes is not a bad restaurant, but there are too many better options.

I give it 2 stars because the service was good but I ordered a stake but it wasn't what i liked I like medium rare but I got a medium stake with baked potato it was okay and came with broccoli and carrots they were disgusting. And instead of the steak I got fish and chips and the fish and chips went great at all and put way to it batter on the fish. I personally wouldn't recommend going there.

Great experience for my daugther's birthday. The kid's meal steak and fries was amazing, she also got a free desert for her birthday. The service is the best i have seen around Niagara. Thank you Mr. Mike

Wings to start were really tasty, steak was full of flavour, tender and well cooked. Garlic mash I liked the veg wasn't that great. Draught beer went down a treat. Would definitely recommend if you want a steak

Steak was decent, didn't stand out as exceptional but definitely not bad. Service was friendly but a decent wait time to be tended to even though it wasn't that busy, the speed/efficiency side of things could be better. Prices were reasonable.

Great place to eat good food ordered a rack of ribs they were really good the gravy was good the garlic bread was good. This was to celebrate my mom’s upcoming birthday and Mother’s Day. The service was good drinks were refilled and they made sure we were happy with our food.

My girlfriends and I went to Mr. Mike's for a birthday girls night. It was the first time we've ever been there. The atmosphere was very nice and clean. We sat on the bar side and got ti play games. Food and drinks were delicious and i would definitely go back again.

The service was exceptional, our server Malorie was super nice, friendly and when asked about recommendations she was very helpful to us in choosing our 0meal. And she was right with her recommendations, our food was very good and the portions where perfect. Thank you it was a great date night

Food was good and the service was too notch, very knowledgeable. Large menu, so there is something for everyone. If you sit on the bar side, you get board games on your table to play.

Over priced and the ambience was terrible for a steakhouse. My booth faced towards an employee bathroom and yes an employee went to the bathroom. The service was good and the food was ok.

Went here for lunch once so far. Really enjoyed the food. I had ribs and they were amazing. My mother had the shrimp tacos which is a repeat for her, she really likes them. Definitely recommend Mr Mikes. Will be going back soon.

Somewhat disappointed. My steak came with a side of veg, which turned out to be a whole 5 green beans. I think they can do better.

I’m not impressed. Prices are way too high for what I got. Steak was very tuff. The stuffed mushrooms were excellent. I had never been here before so I thought I would try it. Will not be back. Ordered a Belgian Moon, no orange slice? For me it’s a pass.

The staff were friendly and super helpful. Food was very good. They have good beer (their own lager and red ale brewed by granville brewery so two thumbs up for that). The patio has excellent heat lamps that will extend patio season nicely. New favourite!

I had a great experience at Mr Mikes. Pictured are the "home brewed" ale (stein) and the bacon caesar with a side car. Both drinks were tasty and the side car was a great addition. We ordered 3 appetizers; the lobster dunk, the crispy panko shrimp, and the crackling sirloin bites. The lobster dunk was a brilliant balance of lobster and dip and the tortilla chips had a great seasoning on them. The panko shrimp was ordered with sweet heat which came with the shrimp tossed in the sauce and was the great combo of sweet and heat. The sirloin bites were probably my favourite because I didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Crispy steak bites served with a ranch dip that complimented them greatly. All apps were very reasonably priced with generous portions. 12/10 would come back.

My first time at Mr. Mike- take out- excellent food, great flavor, and portion. Definitely I will come back. Also it had quick service.

Pleasant ambience. Wonderful staff. Great food. The best part for me were the funny wall posters 😄🤣
