The place looks fantastic with the makeover. Hard to believe they could improve on Perfection but they managed. The food is still outstanding the service is top-notch. It's almost a shame to call A&W fast food. But the service is incredibly quick and the food is really really good just like always. Plus it's pretty tough to beat free root beer refills

Excellent service! The employee at cash was very sweet and helpful, then her and another employee went above and beyond to help us find some space where our stroller would fit. I also wasnt expecting to have our food brought to our table, which was a very pleasant surprise. Overall it was a great visit and it didnt feel like i was at a mere fast food joint.

Friendly staff, fast service, got what we ordered. We ate in and had a nice experience. Manager came around to check on everyone's meal and experience, which was nice. I had a chai tea and it was ssooo tasty!!!

Ordered the beyond beef burger. Normally, it should take 8 min to prepare. In this case, it was ready in 3 min flat. The burger was not hot. Taste was okay. Went to the condiment; ketchup dispenser empty, zero I've for my soda. My table had not been wiped...but I sat there anyway. Very underwhelming experience.

This is the best A&W in the region! We have come here regularly for at least 5yrs now for my son who has anaphylaxis level allergies to dairy, egg, and peanuts. The staff are amazing and always do what's needed to provide a safe, cross contamination free meal. My son has never had an allergic reaction from here ( I wish I could say the same for other restaurants) and it's really nice for him to get take out once in a while like a normal kid. If you're looking for a fast food place that takes food allergies seriously this is it!

It was okaaaayyyy.... Nothing spectacular, just a fast food burger joint that had a 24hr drive through, which is what we needed at 11:30 pm. The burgers are tasty, but the fries were kind of stale and the sweet potato fries were just missing something..... They got our order wrong three times though. By the end, we were just so hungry and tired, it wasn't worth the fight.

Im so happy I found out about the sweet potato fries on A&W SkipTheDishes menu and i am addicted. Their burgers are housemade you can tell the difference. Do I need to talk about how good the root beer is lol

This is an excellent A&W location! The employee serving me at the counter was so friendly and kind. He looked genuinely happy to be there, and put a smile on my face! The restaurant was also very clean, including the restroom. My food was ready quickly and was served very hot!

This establishment & its staff focussed on excellence and providing a service beyond the standard fast food experience. They made sure to remember and apply each of the specifics of my group's orders, and served us despite any personal issues or difficulties. Their candid commitment to their work is apparent, and beyond appreciated. It is easy to overlook the work that servers do, and the mistreatment they can experience, so I deeply appreciate the hard work these employees took. Very pleasant order taker. Order was hot considering it was the middle of the night I was very impressed! Got my order quickly ďidnt have to wait long my burger was made perfect not thrown together like everywhere else I've been. Awesome job A&W.

Great service here. Came by with my family and one burger from our order was missed. Simple mistake, I wasn't really bothered and told them not to worry about it. Staff brought us the missing item anyways and apologized again. Classy response.

Tried the Nashville hot chicken. The chicken tasted like it had been sitting in the warmer for hours and wasn’t anything special. Way overpriced for what it is. The fries were ok and the root beer was flat. Also charged 0.25 for BBQ sauce. Maybe I just need to try another location - this wasn’t impressive.

This is my favorite takeout restaurant when I need food on the go! Always fresh tasting and not slapped together like other places. Definitely a 5 star take out restaurant!!

Normally I enjoy A&W, but when I placed an order via doordash for two bacon cheddar burger meals with poutine, it was replaced with two orders of fries. Why on earth would anyone decide fries are a suitable replacement for two entire meals with poutine? If I wanted plain fries, I would’ve ordered them in the first place. If you don’t have any burgers available, I’d suggest contacting your customer instead of assuming plain fries should be the next best option. This experience was disappointing and infuriating. I tried calling the store but it went straight to voicemail all three times. Three stars only because other orders have been decent. Now I have to go make my own burger and some gravy so I don’t choke on these super dry, fried potatoes.

Great place for dining and drive-in. The menu has mostly organic, non-gmo eggs and beef. My favorites are the Onion Rings, Coffee and sweet potato fries with spicy mayo dip. The breakfast menu is amazing, it is better and healthier than most fast food restaurants. The staff on this location are amazing.

I come here pretty often after a long 12hr shift and the service is a hit or miss depending on time of day I go. I find the night workers to be much more efficient and friendly. Tonight Judy took my order, she was amazing, she made sure everything I asked for was prepared the way I asked for it. I also watched her work while waiting in the drive thru and I gotta say the lady deserves a raise. Thank you Judy.

I went to enjoy a meal and there was a homeless gentleman who had change and was paying for his meal the one girl working there was awful towards him and acted like he didn't matter and kept watching him and acting rude, he was polite and had money he was just as deserving to be there as any paying customer, because of this experience I will not come back again. The attitude was uncalled for there No reason to treat another human being this way as you don't know a persons circumstances. Very disappointed.

I was there on last weekend with my family. We made a quick stop at this store on our way back to Montreal. MY son is allergic to poppy seeds so , I requested them to wash their hands or wear gloves …! The store Manager , named Priyanka she was so generous and help us out in every way possible....Thanks for that incredible service ..!:)

Ordered the new Nashville Hot chicken cruncher. There was no hot sauce or spicy chicken. Literally just a fried chicken on a bun. I do not think it was made correctly. Also for 11pm the drive thru was very busy and a long wait. Unable to go inside as the donning room was close. 😏

I love A&W! Great quality of food and great taste! The cost is a little higher than other burger places and it isn’t the fastest service, but it’s so good, it’s worth it!

Food was good, love the chilled mugs. However, the tables were sticky and needed a good cleaning. Dishes also staking up by the garbage and was hard to find a spot for our mugs. They just need to work on their cleaning. Staff was nice and food was good though

The burgers were great but the fries had to much salt on them I had to knock off the rest and my husband wasn't able to finish his onion rings because again there was way too much seasoning on them. I will say though they made more onion rings for my husband and apologized to him for putting too much seasoning on his onion rings. But as for me they never apologized and I wasn't offended more fries with no salt on them like my husband was

Ordered through door dash have been waiting over an hour for my food and still says preparing order for 3 burgers. Busy or not that’s just plain incompetence, it doesn’t take over an hour to prepare 3 burgers for delivery. Who ever is working this morning needs to be looked at for employee review because this isn’t right.

Put a mobile order in so I wouldn’t have yo wait in line, or wait for our food to be made. As a former A&W employee, their performance was dreadful. When I had got there I found out they haven’t even started working on my order (even though the order was placed 15 minutes prior to me even showing up there). It took them over 10 minutes to get 2 combos out even though they weren’t busy and only had 4 orders on their screen (one of them being mine). Once I finally got my food, the food wasn’t even fresh, which once again makes me question why I’m waiting so long for my order to come up. Bad service, even worse food, go to the fourth ave location instead

I ordered 2 Mama Burgers with whole grain buns and all the additional toppings. Instead I received basic burger with no additional toppings on a regular buns. This was at 522 Welland Avenue.

People i side dont even know how to follow instruction moreover my order was half way cold till the time reach to window I ordered beyond meat burger with extra toppings on both sides and people inside kitchen tossed everything top to bottom without knowing what is the order In total bad experience

My favourite hamburger is the teen burger. Still has its own taste after all these years. Nothing the other hamburger joints have come out with has beaten it.

Actually good but low service speed. However team are very respectful.

They are open 24hrs and due to traveling often I ended up at A&W once a year or so. Let me tell you I will always try anywhere else first. It’s always just the worst. Even no line and the food take forever. Chicken buddy is always soggy never crispy. It’s a last resort and still always disappoints.

This A&W was good, I ate here at least once a week. On my last visit I got a double teen burger and the patties were wrong, it was so gross. I won't be going here again.

Always open, always serving good food. The wait is sometimes a little long at times, usually at awkward times of day, but you can't complain too much when you're getting a burger at 5 in the morning.

This review is for all A&W. Just ordered a breakfast wrap for the first time, and have to say that I'm a little bit disappointed. I paid 9.00 for a wrap that was only 3 inches long with a hash brown and coffee. If A&W wants to compete with tim hortons and McDonald's in their breakfast department, portions size needs to improve. Tim's breakfast sandwich wrap is double the size and cheaper.

got a bacon and egger on a bun and a mama burger… the bacon and egger was given on a muffin and the mama burger came with a buddy burger patty on it that was so stale it felt like it was cutting my throat on top of that i waited 30 minutes and $16 on this disgust the only reason it’s getting two stars instead of one is because it looked like there was only one guy working

Ordered a papa burger, received a teen burger and was not given the fries. For having 4 people working the drive through window, you would have thought at least 1 person would be able to get an order right... And lettuce tasted like it had not been rinsed.

I really enjoy A&W, so as long as the service is good, it will be a good experience. The restaurant was clean, staff friendly and good food. Win win in my books

This is my first time ever to leave a review anywhere but I’m really disappointed about having to wait 30min+ in the drive thru at 12:30am just to get dry/cold food. It’s unacceptable to have people waiting that long when it’s not even rush hour. Also seeing the workers through the windows and how they were moving like snails was just something else. Anyways do better with drive thru.
