To begin with, this is the dealership with the worst ever customer service. I booked my car 4 months ago and they told me the vehicle was on the way and will be delivered in 1 month at the time of booking. When they did not meet the said date, I had to reach out asking for an update ideally when it should have been communicated by them. The same thing kept happening and they pushed the delivery date to end of January. And the vehicle I booked for had a major part shortage and the 2023 models have no blind spot monitoring. I was told this by a friend of mine who is expecting the same car from another dealership. These guys did not even inform me of that and sent out an email only after I asked about this. Again, ABSOLUTELY NO COMMUNICATION WHATSOEVER! Very rude responses or no responses and no regard for transparency at all. I completely understand that there’s a serious shortage of cars. But, I would like to be informed and well communicated about the status of the vehicle so that I could be more realistic of my expectations. I would NOT recommend this dealership at any cost!

We went into St.Catharines VW as we were in the market for a mid-size SUV. We met with Oliver for our appointment. He was very personable, genuine, understood our needs and was able to provide great insights/product knowledge to help us decide on our next family vehicle. Josh was also great to deal with again very personable and really helped us get the right protection to ensure we were covered for any accidentals and warranty. Communicating with Oliver was very easy as he always answered my texts. He has gone above and beyond to ensure the sale was seamless and anything that came up after was dealt with in a timely manner. His service was so good that I discussed trading my other car in. He was able to secure a great trade in value for me to be able get myself into a SUV. Few other things to mention as I am also in sales, you feel the great vibe when you walk in to the dealership. You really feel the team environment, you can sense the communication within the team. At our pick up, service manager came over introduced himself. Sales managers have been also very welcoming. Overall great experience! Thank you Oliver and the St. Catherine’s VW team.

Can not speak more highly of Johnny, Ben, and Ian at St. Catharines VW. This was my second meet with Johnny and each time he was incredibly professional, knowledgable, and had the answers to all my questions. Upon our second meet he sold me on an atlas but was not pushy and made sure I was confident in my decision. Both him and Ian were incredibly helpful throughout the process and made sure to secure me the best deal possible. They got me into my dream ride, at my dream cost and I couldn't ask for a better group of people to make this dream come true for me. On pickup, Ben was personable, and showed me all the fun features the atlas has. He even put a bow on it! Its hard to say goodbye to my Jetta but I know it will go to someone deserving when its in the hands of St Catharines VW. Happy holidays guys, I can't thank you enough.

5 stars specifically for the service department - John Montague - he really saved the day and put my mind at ease. I had a 2 star experience with their sales team initially - although Daniel def. stepped up - and had worried I had made the wrong decision buying a new car. But, once I got the chance to go to their service department (although it's because my 2024 Jetta's remote start isn't working despite it being 2 months old :( ) John really saved the day. I will continue to use this business because of his friendliness, helpfulness and overall kindness. Well done, John!

Spurt of the moment decided to search & trade in my car for an SUV and found myself the next afternoon at St Catharine’s Volkswagen talking to Johnny from the Sales team ! I found the perfect vehicle on their website so I contacted them and he was very helpful and quick to respond. Recently purchased a new vehicle from St. Catharines Volkswagon and it was a very easy, straightforward process. Milan was my guy, and he was patient and very knowledgeable about the vehicle. Overall, I had an excellent experience and am now a very proud new owner of a VW Golf R.

I can not say enough about this dealership and specifically Gill. If you are looking for the very best brand of vehicle and the most genuine sales associate look no further than St. Catharine’s Volkswagen and ask for Gill. We came in one day months ago and Gill test drove a new id4 with us. We weren’t in the market to purchase and when we shared that our experience did not get impacted. Gill has a great sense of humor and made the process great from “just” shopping to recently returning with the confidence to purchase. The Volkswagen product literally sells its self. It’s amazing but more importantly the people that back this brand are outstanding. We love our new Taos and will return to the St. Catharines Volkswagen for ourselves, our children and any friends we can honestly say this has been our pleasure.

The experience started off well with a delivery date that wasn’t terrible. The salesman told me I could get an aftermarket remote start fitted, quoted me $125 for a trunk cover (wasn’t currently in stock) and would quote for install of mud flaps. There was also an offer that month for 2 years free servicing. Then came the excuses for late delivery ranging from the car being stuck in a number of ports to being delayed by the Mexican drug cartels! After stating I was about to buy another Tiguan from Cambridge VW, the salesman provided a used car off the lot for my use as I’d sold my car based on the many promised delivery dates. It finally arrived months late. When I tried to get an aftermarket remote start fitted I found there is nothing available for this car. St. Catharines VW service said they could do it for $1000, but when I opted to use Hamilton VW, (closer to my office) they told me it wasn’t a possibility with this car. I took the matter up with VW Canada and they waited months for a reply from St. Catharines VW service and it still isn’t resolved. I located the trunk cover at another dealership, but the true price was nearly $400. I never got the mud flaps as the salesman never quoted for them. And finally, when I booked the car in for it’s first service I was informed that there was ne free servicing offer and that I must be mistaken. This was the first time I’d bought a brand new car for myself and with the exception of John in service, the whole experience was terrible and I certainly would not recommend St. Catharines VW. In fact, I’m not sure I would recommend VW at all. An update. The dealership reached out to me & ambushed me with a call with 3 members of staff. We established that my family & I misremembered or misinterpreted everything negative I mentioned in my review. So glad we clarified that. The best I could now say is that the staff are guilty of lacking in information about their vehicles & services. The worst I could say is that maybe it's a case of whatever it takes to make a sale. Best to just avoid. =(

What a truly wonderful experience here at this dealership. This was my first stop in the search for a brand new car. I had planned to search for many different makes of cars but my mind was made up when I came here to St. Catherine’s Volkswagen. The service was stellar from the reception, sales , finance and service departments. Gil was my sales representative. He was so informative patient and kind. Being a senior woman, I was treated like gold and with not an ounce of pressure. In just a few hours I had the car ordered and the financials carefully figured out with the help of Dillon, another amazing young man. I had no afterthoughts of looking any further. It took 4 1/2 months to arrive (which is the normal now) but so worth the wait for my wonderful Jetta comfort line. I have only glowing reviews of this dealership and their wonderful staff, a truly genuine honest group. I will never go anywhere else, including any service to be done. I just got my new Atlas cross sport last Monday with a big bow on the hood. Josh answered all my question with honesty and he negotiated a good deal for me. On my way to Niagara, my tire pressure light alert came on in my Atlas Cross Sport. I pulled over and noticed a large nail in one tire. The closest Volkswagen was in St. Catherine’s and I’m so glad. They welcomed me in and willingly assisted. The service representative was FANTASTIC! She explained everything and assured me that they will fix it. I comfortably waited in their clean lounge and my tire was repaired and I was safely back on the road. Great service, knowledgeable and welcoming. Thank you St. Catherine’s Volkswagen!

Milan and Martha helped us out in a big way. Stranded in Ontario after an accident and the car in for repairs. We were able to purchase a vehicle in Ontario with BC trip insurance and get it all registered and get home. Lots of obstacles but with VW help it all worked out. I had one small warranty issue that was quickly resolved. The car has recently had an oil change where the service department exceeded my expectations.
