This Starbucks has friendly staff, lots of room to social distance, and a nice patio. I really appreciated how spacious this location is tied with the great placement of social distancing stickers. The patio has tables for two and for four which allows friends to have a great time together. In addition, they have a wide range of Starbucks merchandise ready for picking.

Very rude lady working there in evening today. Asked her to take some ice off from my ice coffee as I don’t like too much ice and gave me back half a glass of ice coffee by spilling lot of ice coffee and ice. Didn’t wanted to create a scene so left saying back anything. Definitely not coming back at this place. The guy working there was nice . 5 stars for him. 24-August 2021

Great service, never get my drink wrong. Update: A recent order of a Strawberry Acai Refresher was lacking flavour after ordering through drive thru. I parked and took it in. They remade it without hesitation and apologized for the inconvenience. That's the type of service you can expect here, the type of making you happy!

Usually great service here. One girl, older lady, doesn’t understand her system. I placed a mobile order, when I got there they were out of two items which was fine. She said the refund would automatically occur… it did not. So I asked her to remove it and she said she doesn’t know how but if I wait she can bake new ones but I unfortunately I have somewhere to be. So I had to leave paying for items I didn’t reactive because she didn’t know how to process refunds. They clearly need better training, I was able to call corporate and get the refund but it should not be up to the customer to do this. Train this lady please.

Okay so I just witnessed how amazing the staff is at this location. An owner left their dog unattended for a long time in the store while they went to the washroom. When the dog started to get unsettled because it did not know where their owner was, one of the staff members went over to comfort the dog. All the barks stopped and the little guy calmed down. Once the owner came back another staff, probably the manager (or should also be consider to be one) came over to quietly talk to the owner. How they managed it was brilliant, bringing up their concern, listening to the owners and setting the expections. All of which came across caring. It did not stop there, this person then came back with two pup cups, to keep the experience going even for the little doggy. Way to be classy Starbucks at Catharine's and caring for all the customers that experienced this (without even having anyone to come to you to fix this), the doggy and its owner. Way to be proactive.

I work next door at Chapters and the ladies here are always super sweet! We always have a small chat even if its a little busy. Starbucks is very expensive but the experience is much better than Tims. My drinks (usually fraps) are always made perfectly and are some of the best Starbucks drinks I've had!

Baristas are extremely polite and a treasure trove of knowledge/info. Great atmosphere as pictured and overall relaxing space. I'm sure this is many people's comfy / quiet retreat in lieu of a nice library. Extremely understanding management, all around positive atmosphere.

Great place for some coffee and catch up with some friends. They have a patio out front, it's great. Their products never disappoint. What more is there to say? It's a staple in our routine. Also the menu is delicious. Personal goal is to try it all :-)

Everyone in the cafe is awesome and very friendly. My initial order today was a disaster as they added 6 pumps of syrup for a grande when i asked to make it sweet. The drink was not edible but thanks to Maria for fixing it for me! Always very satisfied with the service 😊

Usually the best Starbucks, amazing staff and super fast.. but I've had 3 cold breakfast sandwiches in a row , bacon literally still ice cold and cheese and egg lukewarm... Upsetting especially when tims is half the price , please cook the food longer

They don't know how to make tea. They put hot water in a cup, put in a teabag and add milk. There is no point where the tea can steep. It always tastes like strange hot water and watered down milk. Again, I threw it in the garbage.

Love the atmosphere, and love that it's in chapters. Rarely ever go to Starbucks tbh but this place I will come to this over and over again. Thank you! The strawberry Creme is to die for. LITERALLY AND FIGURATIVELY SPEAKING.

This Starbucks is attached to the Chapters/ Indigo at the Fairview Mall. It is separated by a retractable wall until Chapters opens. During COVID the separation remains in place. Service is fast and friendly. The store is clean with lots of space for sitting both inside and outside on the patio.

Drinks are made really fast if you place an mobile order in advanced. Always fresh and the sugar level is to my liking

Fv Starbucks is great. Friendly staff who work hard to get food and drinks out as quickly as they can in this location, it can get fairly busy. Their food is good I've had both egg white bites and reduced fat turkey and egg white sandwich which are both yummy. The bites are better in my opinion. If you frequent here you should really get the app. I just started using it and am full of mild regret from not starting sooner. You can pay cash or debit in store to load it if you don't have a credit card like myself so I top up in cash and already can get free bites or pastries its pretty fab. They keep it clean, stocked and nice. Would definitely recommend this location I come here multiple times a week.

unfortunately, one of the workers, an older lady, was very rude to me, a person of colour, but funnily enough was nicer to all of the other patrons who were white. i had modified my order to make it easier for her to take my order because she was giving me service with lots of attitude, and yet i overheard her talking bad about me while i was waiting for my drink. experience was very disappointing and hurtful.

As a woman of color, I felt microaggressed when I observed that the staff was notably warmer and more welcoming to white customers compared to myself. It's disheartening to encounter such disparities in customer service based on race, as every customer should be treated with equal respect and kindness. I hope Starbucks can work towards ensuring that all patrons, regardless of their background, receive the same level of courteousness and hospitality in the future.

Wow! I know this location is busier because Lake St. is closed but come on, really? The women took my order and I asked where to wait. I was still in front of her and she didn't remember me. What? It was less than 30 seconds! Also, watched my drink being made and then watered down! She poured quite a large amount in and it tasted watered down too. Go to another location or wait for Lake St. to reopen. Skip!

I went in and asked the girl to surprise me with a dink and she did NOT fail. I completely forgot to try it and let her know i liked it. Tysm for the kindness and delish white iced mocha with raspberry. Not something i would have ever thought of but it was so good <3
