Adventure Ship Park is better known as municipal park to the locals. It has a beautiful beach with smooth sand, a small park. So pack a picnic and umbrella for a great day of family fun in the sun. On a side note, this beach is patrolled by security and police so it is very safe. Some park rules to keep in mind is that alcohol and smoking are prohibited while in this park and new this year there is a fee to park unless you are a local with a parking pass issued by the city.

Still one of my favorite places to go, sit on a bench overlooking the lake. Playground for the kids. Just gets too crowded, used to be much quieter.

Long stretch of sandy beach. Perfect for a family outing, plenty of parking!

Part of Sunset Beach, nice park but parking is paid. If local, you can buy a parking pass for $15 to get free parking SMH
