I was worried about this hotel, as the $67 price was very economical. There is a $20. parking fee, which is not unlike any other hotel in Niagara. We were so pleasantly surprised. May I say, that the reception at front desk was lovely. We were greeted, processed and in our room in 10 minutes. The rooms are exactly like the pictures show. Our room was spotlessly clean and nicely appointed with fresh bedding and an abundance of linens. Coffee and tea, including flavorings for coffee are served all day. Breakfast is served in the morning and although we did not use the pool, it was available Of course this is not the high end $200. room, however, I would certainly recommend it for a value price with spotlessly clean amenities. We would definitely stay again. The hotel is a very short 10 minute walk to Clifton Hills. NOVEMBER 2022.

It was just what we needed for an affordable place to stay. Rooms look relatively newly renovated. We love that they had some pet-friendly rooms. Our dog is extremely calm and we were happy to be able to stay here with her. Nice bathroom, but our shower didn't work nor did the blow-drier. We only stayed 1 night so not enough time to get it fixed. Breakfast was grab-and-go with some breakfast sandwhiches, sliced apples, yogurt tubes, muffins ++ They have electric car charging stations! Forward thinking for my next trip

Do you like a good night's sleep? Wonderful customer service? On site parking? A nice, clean room? Then this isn't the place for you. We were initially 'greeted' by staff who clearly hate their job. Not a smile or even a "Hello". We were pointed in the direction of our room, which was sandwiched between the elevator and the pool. That meant that we were kept up late with the constant beeping of the elevator and woken up early by people yelling on their way to swim. *Yawn* We tried to use the air conditioning to drown out the sound of the beeping, however that fan sounded like a construction site when turned on. We had to park off site in a suuuuuuper sketchy parking lot (Ladies..refuse this if they suggest it. It is NOT safe). Our room was hardly recognizable from the photos online. The fire alarm was wrapped in some sort of plastic. The hook on the back of the door was duct tape (literal duct tape in the shape of a hook). Someone stopped painting about a foot from the ceiling and a few inches from the floor. Our view was the gorgeous flop house across the street. Did I mention the sweet hair on the towel in the washroom? 🤢 I would not ever, in a million years, recommend staying here. Seriously. Don't do it. There are tons of other hotels in Niagara to choose from. Find somewhere else!! 👎🏻👎🏻

It was beyond my expectations, based on the previous review we can see that newcomers live there… due to that I was expecting a crowded place full of garbage, a parking lot with people and all those things, but none of it happened. It was a nice and clean place, calm, nice breakfast, staff friendly, they received my pet really well, the room was neat and clean, no carpet which contributes. I did not use all the facilities but seem in really good condition. 10 min walk to the main attraction which is good, the parking is charged per night (20 Cad) and pet also (40 Cad). We stayed 1 night with 2 Queen beds and shared a room with another couple, we had enough towels for 4 of us. The room is not that big but comfortable. If you are planning to stay for a night or 2 is a good call. Sorry for the mess, we were so excited to see the room that I couldn't take nice pictures. Oh no one paid me for this review

The staff we encounter was super friendly, can not stress that enough. BUT… the halls outside the rooms are gross. There looks like there’s a dried urine stain on the floor. The first night there was literally a bug in our bed And the second day after house cleaning came in (without our request) there was literally, I kid you not, a toenail on our bed spread. The complimentary breakfast was nice though.

Worst hotel stay ever. It was more like a hostel than a hotel. The rooms were tiny and cramped, the beds were the most uncomfortable spring coil mattresses that hurt your back and make you feel like you haven't slept, the service was horrendous. People were fighting in the hallways at night, the hotels didn't have pillows for the guests, one elevator was on service constantly so it's impossible to get up and down without riding in a stuffed elevator. To top it all off our room smelled like rotting laundry. We had booked a non-refundable three nights stay and left after the first night. I called down to the front desk for the noise complaint with a rushed response from the receptionist " we are dealing with it." When we requested a refund and complained to Expedia, the hotel denied our refund and said that we had not complained about the noise. We were hoping that at least the breakfast would be decent and it would have been had there been seating for us to be able to sit down and eat our meal. Besides the staff pushing you around telling you to move somewhere else to find a seat or go back to your room because we were standing and looking for somewhere to sit.... The breakfast was okay but definitely not worth the $500 I'd spent for a one night stay in this trash hotel.

Our stay at this hotel was very good. The room was clean and comfortable. The only issue we had encountered was that our door was hard to open and close at times. Breakfast Buffet had a good variety and was constantly replenished, along with tables being wiped when people would leave the area. The most important aspect of the property was the staff. Very friendly and accommodating .. shout out to Caroline, Ajay and Kimberly who were exceptional. Thank you Tony & Bianca

I had booked 23 rooms for August 25-28 (3 nights). After speaking with an employee at the front desk explaining that In February 2022 I needed to book 23 rooms so I called the hotel and a girl that was working said that was a large group so she then gave me the hotel owners cell phone number and told me to ask him what kind of deal he would give us considering we were booking 23 rooms at his hotel! I was told the 3 night stay would be $269.99. Additionally I had to pay $15 parking per night! Fair enough I agreed then we contacted the manager of the hotel and confirmed it and away we go! I was sent a confirmation of it. Just recently I was sent a group confirmation once again but now they say that it is $269.99 PER NIGHT now! That blew me away! They originally give me one price and now change it to another price? I spoke with the manager who ORIGINALLY agreed to the price that I was told and he said that “I would never have agreed to that price”! Terrible customer service!!!! For the record the owner David Aucoin was a very nice man! Manager? Not so much!!!

The room was extremely small for my husband and two small kids. The cleaning lady asked if we needed our room cleaned I said yes and when we got back to our room nothing was done. Then when we got back in the night and no parking available so we asked the hotel clerk she said to park at their other lot across the house, that parking lot was like a field of grass in the dark, no light and scary no car was there and we paid $22 a day for parking, husband ending up waiting for a spot to become free. The breakfast and pool were good, but I would never stay their again.

This was the best hotel that we ever stayed in!! !David, the owner was so nice to us considering how busy he was. It was raining and hard to get a taxi so David drove us in his own car and took us there. He found time to interact with the guests and made us feel special. The hotel was clean, safe and to us it was a 5 star hotel! The price was amazing and the breakfast was excellent. We know that we have a special place to stay when we visit the Falls again! I don't understand why there are so many complaints about this hotel. Rooms are nice and very clean. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is delicious with lots of choices. We have had no issue with anyone "living" in the hotel. And it's within walking distance of everything. Would highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back.

The hotel wasn’t as expected, the lifts were old throughout the trip used staircases to come down. The parking is additional 23 including taxes which will be debited right away. And coffee in the room sucks. And the pictures are all from a zoomed out lens, the washrooms exhaust don’t work. And the view is a patrol pump, so basically you are paying 185 dollars for glorified motel.

Good Afternoon.. we just got here at around 11am and took our dog for a long walk along the falls and has lunch. We came back to hotel to be greater with a friendly welcome and allowed to check in early. The front desk staff as well as the cleaning crew went above and beyond to welcome us with a anniversary gift basket and some arranged towels. We already are enjoying our stay and we only arrived. We look forward to the gym, dinner, an evening walk and a goodnight sleep in the comfy bed. We also can't wait to enjoy a delicious buffet style breakfast tomorrow morning before we leave. Thanks 😊 for your kindness and generous comfort from staff.

Our room was nice and came with breakfast included. The staff there were friendly. The only downside was people kept pressing the emergency button in the elevator. And many unsupervised kids running around. But otherwise our time there was very enjoyable. They also have pet friendly rooms. And about a 10 minute walk to Clinton Hill.

If I had made my decision on staying at this hotel base on the reviews I would have canceled my reservations. None the less I’m happy I didn’t. My stay was beyond my expectations due to reading the reviews before hand. I was blown away by the customer service first at hand checking in with Chanpreet at the front desk. She greeted me with a smile, she was patient and knowledgeable about the room and property. 1. Parking was no issue, My BMW was safe and secured. 2. My room was clean, smelled nice, sheets were clean and bed was nice and well make up. The floor I stayed on was quite I heard no noise. 3. Maintenance guy MIKE, always greeted me with a smile made sure I was comfortable, brought extra pillows as requested went above and beyond. 4. House keepers were nice during the whole stay. They check round every morning to bring clean laundry and did their jobs well to make sure that satisfaction was met. 5. Breakfast was nice. Not your average 5 star breakfast but it was a nice down home breakfast those employees worked hard to put together. Pan cakes were freshly made, omelettes were tasty and hot, baking was delicious. Let’s just say the over all meal was good. 6. Throughout the hotel I could have stop and have tea at anytime. 7. Pool was nice and clean but isn’t heated. Clean towels are provided. Check out was a breeze with AJ at the front desk he was friendly and kind. My over all four day stay was amazing and relaxing. Thank you for your service,I will definitely be returning! I do recommend that if you are considering staying at this hotel please experience your stay for yourself..

The hotel was decently clean, though it felt like someone had done a cheap hotel flip with all the signs of cost-saving in the remodeling. Everything seemed lower than avg. quality for a hotel costing over $150USD. The breakfast time was over crowded. Though I paid for parking, I never found a spot to park by the end of the night. My first room had a leak from a floor above, so I had water coming up from under my thin vinyl flooring. They changed my room, but I lost my tub which I needed for my kids - and now just had a stand up shower. The pool was nice and clean. The location of the hotel is top notch! What you are paying for here is location, and not the hotel experience. I think I'll either look further out for a better hotel, or pay extra to stay close to the attractions and upgrade my hotel experience. I should mention, all the staff was great and as helpful and polite as they can be.

Comfort hotel is a mix of pros and cons. On the pro side, it is a 10 to 15-minute walk from the horse-shoe falls, you get complimentary break fast served in the basement, good parking space though charged at a rate of 15 dollars per night. On the cons side, during my stay I woke up to no water and it took over 3 hours to fix it. In addition, the house keeping guys were just busy talking in front of my room disturbing the quiet I craved. They need to fix this grey areas. You also have to make a deposit of 50dollars per stay, which they claim is returned in 3 to 5 business days,I'm looking for this.

Was newly renovated when we visited a few months ago. Very clean and modern rooms. Customer service was good. Free breakfast that were ready to go. Parking is additional cost and swimming pool was not available then due to renovations. Overall it was a great stay but a good 15-20 minute walk to Clifton hill and the Falls.

Over an hour wait to check in because rooms weren't ready. We arrived at 7:15pm on Friday. It was after 8:30 When we got our room. The room keys didn't work on the door (dying batteries), so that was inconvenient for the weekend. The room was clean when we did get it, so the cleaning staff was on top of their game. The rooms have been renovated, so you shouldn't be disappointed. We were not offered anything for the inconveniences, so that doesn't sit well with me. I wouldn't book there again.

This was our second visit and certain things were better than our stay here in March 2022. Better: More complete breakfast and more friendliness and helpfulness from front desk staff. Still good: Awesome breakfast room staff (very nice). Pet-friendly. Not a long walk from most popular spots in Niagara Falls, especially if the weather is good. Could have been better, but not the staff's fault: Neighbourhood could be better. Our room was adjoining with another room (not our family or friends) and noise travelled terribly to our room even after they were asked to be (and were) quieter. Management wasn't too hard on them either. There was a yellow spot in one of the towels, which I'm sure had been washed, but if I were the manager and that stain wouldn't come out, I would not use it in a guest room. As a pet-friendly hotel, and for the price, it's ok.

I was there last night, small room but cozy. anyways,I had to clean the drain in the bath tub cause the water was not draining one bit, it was clogged with filthy hair that looked like years if build up, the coating in the tub was peeling off which added to the hair in the drain to clog it more. I informed the front desk and the young lady on duty was very accomodating and helpful, she offered another room but it was late and I'd already did my wiping down of the surfaces. They then gave me two Tim's gift cards worth $5 a piece, the floors was the dirtiest thing I had to walk on, my daughter's socks was black with dirt from walking on the floor, under my slippers was so filthy I had to wash it before packing it back in my bag, the hallways has no carpet so it's disturbing every time people walk with heels and they talk so loud, the microwave had crumbs inside, management needs to pay more attention to to work the cleaners do, couldn't leave any tips

Stay away from this hotel. I stayed here with my family for two nights and someone got into our car during the night and stole our stuff. Their parking lot is an outdoor parking lot behind the hotel building that they charge extra $20 for parking. The worst part is the manager telling me that their security camera didn't capture any suspicious activity with our car that night, when our belongings including the groceries we bought minutes before parking were all gone the next morning. I would never stay here again.

No Star!! I was trying to do a nice thing for my daughter and 3 grandchildren. Rent them a room for the night in a decent hotel with a pool. They really needed a nice evening away and together. At check-in my daughter was given the pool hours, so of course the kids were extremely excited to get changed and go swimming. They all went down ready to swim but the pool was closed because it was suddenly being filled. At the desk they said it would only be 20 minutes. However my 3 very disappointed grandchildren had to wait over 2 and a half hours. So until almost 7:30pm my daughter had to deal with a 10, 7 and 5 year old crying and being upset. The kids having a bed time this meant they would only have one short hour to enjoy the pool. So my daughter requested a late checkout, but of course the hotel could not even be accommodating in that way. She just wanted the kids to have a bit of fun in the pool before they had to checkout. If that wasn't bad enough the wifi did not work well in the room at all, so the kids could not even play on their tablets. To top it off they were startled awake around 6am by a very loud fire alarm going off. I would never recommend this Hotel, not ever.

Really enjoyed our stay here for 3 nights. The hotel was very clean and staffs were super nice and attentive. It was a busy weekend for them dealing with hockey teams, players and parents.. The breakfast was so good compared to other hotel breakfasts I've had in the past. They have a pancake machine that makes 2 pancakes at a within minutes by pressing a button.

Pros: 1) breakfast was decent compared to other places we’ve stayed at. Lots of variety 2) the staff that we encountered were friendly Cons: 1) pool is only about 3-4feet deep in all areas 2) we encountered a bedbug(about the size of a ladybug) in our bed on night 1 3) housekeeping came in during the day to clean despite us not requesting it in any way, we had not put our electronics away, nothing was missing but never the less we would of tidied up our personal things if we new others would be in the room 4) we found a toenail post cleaning of the room (my girlfriend nor I even brought toenail clippers with us ) 5) we saw what looked like pee stains in the hallways ( other reviews have noted the same )

I’ve stayed here once before and had no issues nor concerns and this is why I decided to stay the weekend here again when I was down in Niagara. Unfortunately it was not as pleasant as last time. The remote was sticky and had food residue. The floors were also sticky and made our socks black. We continued to wear our shoes inside the room for the remainder of the weekend. I didn’t even bother trying to shower because my boyfriend did and the water would not drain properly, to the point that by the time he was done showering, the bathtub was completely full, and it took a long time for it to fully drain. Saturday night, there was no available parking, instead of getting a staff to check valid vehicle parking tags, they sent us to the hotel next door. Even though we paid for parking? Kinda sketchy… and inconvenient. Won’t be staying again.

Good location, within walking distance of Niagara Falls and GO bus stop. Buffet breakfast daily of good quality and variety. Friendly service staff ensure items did not run out. Rooms are a bit dated and not sound proof. But included a mini fridge and microwave which came in handy. Overall good hotel if on a budget

The hotel itself was nice. The rooms were clean no complaints in that department. However, for a weekday stay they put guests too close together. The hotel didn't seem like it was fully booked to have guests rooms side by side or right across. My neighbour's were constantly in and out of their rooms talking to their friends across from my room. My recommendation would be to spread guests out if you can. Other than that great stay! I would recommend.

First they allowed people to play soccer in their parking lot of their ball hit our car! They rooms and so poorly insulated you hear everything some rooms have door that opens to your neighbor that you have to keep locked. Our bathroom had a tub but it was so tiny no could use it . The taps and spout in the shower was so poorly installed they moved and the caulking broke off in chunks in the tub and it refused to drain making showering was near impossible! There are only 10 TV channels , and beds are super uncomfortable with the thinnest blankets that might has well been sheets!. Save your money do not go here!

I have stayed here a couple of times Breakfast was great. Stuff friendly. Space of the rooms great. Great location They do not allow bicycles in the rooms. But they have a fence all the way in the back where you can lock it, security 24/7 I have noticed the Canadian government used this facility for refugees and newcomers who just landed here in Canada, it did not bother us at all. But that means a lot of more people.

My family enjoyed our stay in Niagara Falls at the Comfort Hotel. It's located only a short distance away from many attractions and the Falls. Every staff member we encountered was really kind and helpful. Our only downsides would be the price of parking and breakfast variety (we thought everything was good at breakfast and those staff members were especially kind and did a great job keeping the service/dining areas clean and food stocked, but it was the same items almost every day of our stay.) We'd definitely stay here again if visiting the area.

Absolutely fantastic stay! I have to say the staff were absolutely wonderful and very welcoming. I noticed an issue in my room and they immediately sent up Mike from Maintenance to fix everything. BIG SHOUTOUT TO MIKE! He has to be one of the most outgoing and friendly people I have ever met! He truly went above and beyond by giving us local recommendations and checking in on us every time he happened to be around. I also spoke with our cleaning lady and she was very friendly also! She listened to all our requests and was very attentive to detail. The amazing staff here made this stay that much better! The breakfast was surprisingly good, especially for a complimentary continental breakfast. It had a variety of hot options including sausages, omelets, hashbrowns, pancakes with food being constantly replenished and tables being cleaned quickly. Overall, I have to say the value for this hotel is outstanding and this hotel will definitely be my go-to spot to stay in Niagara Falls hands down!

Upon check-in there was an issue with finding the rooms we had specified (adjoining two rooms with queen beds). Unfortunately, they didn’t have this reserved for us, but the two front desk workers did everything they could to find another alternative. They went out of their way to ensure we were accommodated. Their rooms were clean and nicely renovated. The pool was clean with fresh towels. Would highly recommend. Again, thank you to the workers that helped us out!

The location of the hotel is wonderful. It’s a close walk to the falls and to Clifton hill. The room was small, but perfectly fine for the basic use of a sleep space. The mini fridge was wonderful. The pool was very clean, but smaller than the pictures made it appear. When families were in the pool it left limited space for other guests. I would have loved for an adult only hour like many other hotels host. The breakfast served was wonderful. Tons of fruit and healthy options, I just wish there was more seating offered. The downside to the hotel was the smell. It’s labelled as no smoking, but clearly smoking is quite common. My room was located on the 4th floor and it smelt like Marijuana and cologne. Very similar to a college dorm! Our room wasn’t as bad as the hallway, but it was still present. I opened the window for a while to air it out but the window only opens a couple of inches. We walked down the stairs as the elevator was being repaired and I thought I’d pop my head into the 3rd floor to see if the smell was only on our floor and upon opening the 3rd floor door from the stairwell it smelt strongly of pet urine. This is likely where the pets are placed. We decided not to request another room in fear we would be placed in a worse position.

We stayed for one night and checked in on January 1st 2023. We arrived after 1pm and were told no rooms were available, because the hotel was fully booked. That was not an issue, we left and drove around until 2:30pm. The moment we walked into our room we noticed a difference between the pictures posted online and the actual room. The room had a feeling of a prison cell. The room did not have a cozy feel, it was very cold (not temperature wise). I booked a deluxe room, however there was nothing deluxe about the room, instead I received a wheelchair accessible room. Loads of space, and no table and chair to sit down and eat our dinner. I found that quite odd. The shower stall allows all the water to drain out onto the floor, creating a dangerous and messy bathroom I am an animal lover, but the percentage of dogs staying in the hotel was over the top. At the very least, the hotel should have designated rooms for pets, what if someone is allergic? I listened to multiple dogs barking and constantly hearing doors being slammed. Employees yelling down the hall to talk to one another while I was trying to sleep. If you're looking for quiet hotel, this is not the place. The most disgusting thing I saw was urine in the hallway by the elevator. I was disgusted that someone would allow their dog to urinate in the hallway, and I was even more disgusted that no one cleaned it up. We both enjoyed the food offered for breakfast (although there wasn't much variety). There are 2 pancake making machines for guests. Overall I would not recommend this hotel to family and friends. This was suppose to be a nice getaway for me and my boyfriend. Instead we were constantly disturbed by loud noises and dogs barking. I was disappointed with my stay.

The hotel was clean and worth the price. The breakfast had a lot of variety and was great. The staff were friendly and Coffee and tea were available 24 hours. We asked them to make the beds when we leave the room but they didn’t or maybe they forgot. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.
