Great Atmosphere, Great Drinks. We came in here for the first time, last Friday and were very impressed. It give the impression of a very upscale cocktail bar, with the velvet ropes and doormen outside, and it lived up that pretence. It has a very modern, yet warm decor and the patio, in particular, is small but well placed, with a great view. We had a pitcher of sangria, which was delicious and reasonable priced, plus a smoked lavender lemonade, which, along with the presentation, was the perfect cap to the evening. The jazz music in the background, really made this a very positive experience. The staff were very helpful and super friendly. We will definitely return.

Came across Monello’s downtown St. Catharines. First impression was that it’s a classy little place but at same time it’s casual nice. We ordered the individual charcuterie. It was a large portion well enough for two people. We also ordered the Strawberry Mojito and the Smoked Old Fashion drinks, which was entertaining just being served. The staff was delightful and welcoming. I can’t say anymore besides come check it out and that we will be back!!! 5/5

Nice place. I have attended a few Monello's special events, and have thus far bought four pieces of unique art at four different shows, where the artists were present. This is the only local venue of which I am aware that routinely hosts art shows. The tapas were delicious at each event, and of a different style each time, as they have a rotating cast of chefs. The decor is modern, especially in the VIP room, which can be booked for private events. Smoked drinks are on offer, as well as cigars. Overall, this is a unique venue and I am glad it's around. I took the attached photo from Monello's back patio while having a smoked old-fashioned and cigar. There is street parking, but I generally just park in the Meridian Centre parking lot directly behind Monello's. There is always room there, especially in the evenings.

A good friend recommended this place for my wife and I to check out, it did not disappoint ! The drinks were fancy and delicious. The hors d'oeuvres were great. One thing is that - it is a more upscale place so keep that in mind when picking outfits.

I still talk about the delicious meals we have had there over the last special occasions we have had there! Word of mouth… you will not be disappointed in the food! From the complimentary bread and olive dish in the beginning, to the main course of delicious steak and salmon.. desserts.. great servers… it is worth it and the bill we never bat an eye at!

What a great experience! The staff were awesome and the food was great. Highly recommend. The washrooms were clean too. We will be making the drive again to this place for sure. What a great find.

Great food, atmosphere and prices not bad. Pasta is homemade and you can tell because it makes all the difference. Options for everyone, including those gluten-free, vegetarian, and even vegan. Most of the pastas are made with egg but they offer marinara pizza if you ask and you can add toppings..

Everyone at the table was thrilled with their selections! Little Italy, San Diego has a lot of choices for amazing Italian food to eat, but Monello"s was a perfect choice for our group. Until the next trip….Buon Appetito!.

Absolutely loved this place, our food was amazing, service was top notch and the price was reasonable for sure given the top level experience. Best meal I've had in years hands down. it goes perfectly with the quality of the food: 10/10!

Very casual atmosphere. Hard working bartenders gave me great service at the bar for lunch. Other places in little Canada are a bit overpriced but I was surprised at the quality of the food for the price here.

Food is always creative and delicious. Local wines are all over the menu and well chosen. Cocktails are crafted wonderfully and taste amazing. Service is also great. Cheers to the chef and his whole team.

These guys have something special going on here! The menu is forever evolving and executed to absolute perfection. The owner and chef have managed to create something that no one in St Catharines can even come close to. At a loss for words to describe this place. Phenomenal!!

Visited again, and was blown away. Again. Can't say enough about this place. Always a treat to enjoy the fancy food! Service was excellent and every plate we received looked like a piece of art. Definitely one of the best restaurants in St. Catharines.

This was my first time ordering and I will definitely be a repeat customer. We ordered 7 different tapas items and they were all creative, well portioned, and most importantly absolutely delicious! I can’t wait to return and dine in to try every single dish..

A perfectly poached egg - perhaps the best I've ever had. The crab Benny was carefully balanced, with neither too much crab not too little hollandaise. The restaurant was very clean, and felt cozy yet bright. Service was welcoming. We'll be returning, with friends.

Service was absolutely perfect. Very friendly and gave us recommendations on things to do since we were visiting the area. Menu was different and exciting. I enjoyed all of the food we ordered but even if you end up not loving the food it is worth it to just try something different than your normal restaurant. Had my post wedding brunch here and the staff were so sweet and amazing. And the food was DELICIOUS! Only amazing things to say about this place

All the food was amazing, I got the classic breakfast and it was so good! My friends loved their meals. The tea, lemonade and ice coffee were all awesome. We wanted to come back for their dinner but weren’t able to fit it in on the trip!

Monello’s is the epitome of class. A true work of art. You won’t find anything else like it in St. Catherine’s. Come for the custom cocktails, stay for the ambiance. The service is excellent. The staff is friendly & knowledgeable in the menu. The food is delectable; with something for everyone. All in all, whether you’re looking for the perfect spot for a date night, to rent a spot out for a private occasion or just a night out with the girls for some elegant drinks; Monello’s is the new fave spot in town. The best vegetarian pizza I've ever had - piping hot with gooey cheese, dollops of pesto, the aubergines & zucchinis were perfectly baked with aromatic seasoning. Will definitely be visiting again . Highly recommend..
