Two trips out to NOLA, two visits to Parleaux, two GREAT evenings! Parleaux has a range of styles and each beer is solid-- their small and rye IPAs are winners, had a nice pilsner when I was there, and my friend who doesn't like beer fell hard for the rye whiskey barrel aged stout ($36/4pk). Local friend is still raving about the paella pop-up, and we can't wait to go back and chill in the outdoor space when it gets warmer. On my second trip out I snagged a t-shirt I’d be obsessing about since the first trip and we all got large pours— Salinger’s Solace and R U Into It? are faves. Checking a suitcase next time so I can bring some back! Wearing my TRUST THE PROCESS shirt whenever I can. Can't wait for my next visit!

Easily one of the best breweries of the trip is in a quiet corner of Bywater residential district. The brewery is tucked away from the normal hustle and bustle of NOLA, which is a great change of pace. The hidden brewery offers a modest size tap room, but you will be spending the entire trip at the chill’est beer garden with plenty of space and shade. Our favorite beers from Parleaux Beer Lab are the Green with Envy IPA and Strange Memories on this Nervous Night Sour. Can you guess which of us voted for the IPA, and who voted the sour? Green with Envy is the southern take on a NEIPA, and I think they did the style justice. It was the best NEIPA we had during our trip down to Louisiana. If you’re looking for something a bit more adventurous, Strange Memories on this Nervous Night may be for you. The sour ale with plums, lemon and sea salt was remarkably plummy. Not too sour, not to face puckering but a perfect blend of plum with hints of lemon and sea salt.

CJ helped me out, I tried four of their beers and they were absolutely all delicious. The sour was my favorite, but the fact that they offer multiple pilsners is very impressive. I'm marking it down as a favorite New Orleans beer spot, and I'm glad that I stopped in. They even offer free distilled water that they distill themselves, which was very refreshing. Excellent joint, A+. CJ was super great. I'll be back and you should stop in!

We were wandering the Bywater area and stopped here for a refreshment and were pleasantly surprised. The guy working the taps was knowledgeable and let us sample a few so we could decide on what we wanted to drink. I really like a few of the west coast IPA and my wife liked the pilzner. Good beer!

Parleaux is arguably the best craft brewery in New Orleans.. I particularly recommend it if you appreciate sour beers because they featured a number of delicious wild ales.. The service was great, and clearly, the staff are very knowledgeable/passionate about the beers.. 🍻

Best of the Bywater! Family fun, neighborhood brewery & beer garden! Nestled in the Bywater, 1 of my favorite neighborhoods in New Orleans, this 'beer lab' has something for everyone. Nice eclectic mix of sours, hazy ipa's, and porters. The staff is very welcoming, you can take your time with your flight order and they'll make great recommendations. This place has a spacious indoor section with seating, plus a huge family friendly patio outside. Kids can play while the adults sip. Also dog friendly i believe! There's not a kitchen here but they regularly have some stellar food trucks parked out front. The variety of beers is incredible. Definitely not your run of the mill stuff, these guys really know what they're doing. They've been offering to go beer during covid which is awesome. You can pickup cool shirts & drinking glasses like I did lol. Please check this place out, you'll thank me later!

Standard brewery lots of indoor and outdoor tables. Flights were reasonable, personally wasn’t not blown away but this place is ideal if you’re into lagers and ales. I tend to favor more eclectic offerings. Nice outdoor patio equipped with bug spray

Super neat place; love the outdoor courtyard. Plenty of space to spread out and have beer with friends. Service is super friendly and helpful. Beer is pretty solid. Hazy was well worth it, and waggle dance was pretty good too. It’s a decent trip out from the common tourism areas.

This brewery is a little out of the way but so very worth it. The staff are incredibly friendly and kind. The beer is tasty AF and looks like it is made with local ingredients. We were so impressed.

It was a nice experience. Gentleman at the bar gave a good recommendation to my father's specific taste and the outdoor seating area particularly the seating area covered and shaded by the greenery.

If you're a smoker then it's a four star. I am a cigarette smoker but I can't knock them for my bad habits. Good friendly crew working the place with excellent atmosphere and yard to chill in. The beer is excellent with a good selection no matter your palette! Highly recommend!

If there is one brewery you can get to in this fine city (and there are many) this could be it, takes a bit of work to get here (but I walked it from French Market in about 35 mins) , really nice beer, nice people and activities like movie nights and food Trucks. But for any fellow beer geeks the beer is gooood

Fantastic beer to be had here. Well worth the stop if you're in New Orleans.

We really enjoy when the brewery posts the ABV & the IBU numbers...(no we're not beer snobs): Parleaux's Berry Bond Gose had a surprising bitterness that some might enjoy.... (IBU 60-70?). The Czech Lager was amazing. AND we ordered Turkey Necks, on a spur of the moment decision.... WOW!😊 And yes, the TRAIN IS REAL! And a hoot...😉 Good people here... and the conversations were fun, too.

Love this place. Great selection of beer. Didn’t get food but looks like they have food and snacks. Amazing atmosphere and so much seating. Outside and inside seating. Will visit every time I’m in NOLA.

This is a review based on me having 1 beer there. I had a Hazy IPA and it was very good. Unfortunately, the rest of my party had to go, so I couldn't fully indulge, but I'd definitely go back.
