Beautiful, peaceful place with 3 lakes where you can swim and endless grass areas where you can have a picnic or just relax.
Ein wunderbarer Ort, um zur Ruhe zu kommen und neue Energie zu schöpfen – mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht über die Stadt.
Drei Weieren in St. Gallen is a lovely, peaceful place with three beautiful ponds surrounded by greenery. It's perfect for nature lovers and offers amazing views, especially in the fall when the leaves change color. You can swim in the clean ponds during the summer or take a nice walk on the well-kept paths. The area has an interesting history from the 17th century, with signs that explain it. It’s easy to get to from the city center, either by a short hike or public transport. The facilities, like benches, picnic spots, and changing rooms, are clean and well-maintained. Overall, Drei Weieren is a great place to visit in St. Gallen. It's a perfect mix of natural beauty, fun activities, and history. Highly recommended for a relaxing time any season of the year.
Gorgeous place, definitely a must if you are not from St. Gallen. In terms of views, this is the place you want to go to. Because you won't get a more beautiful landscape view of St. Gallen like here. In addition, it is perfect for a little evening stroll with friends if you want to keep it chill. However, the possibility to head into the forest is also there if you would like to be challenged a bit more. Towards the right side of the lakes (when you are facing the city) there is the opportunity to go to a restaurant for a drink/food. And after that you can walk past the monastery and a farm that sells it own products.
A best place to have a barbecue party and you can see a full view of St Gallen city from the top hill.
Beautiful views and only a short walk from the city. Go if you fancy a bit of fresh air in the hills (and maybe a swim if it's warm enough). And best of all: you don't have to pay anything! Hard to believe, I know, but it's true!
A lovely spot for a swim or picnic in summer. The climb up is quite strenuous but not very long, so you can walk up from the center if you're in shape. In winter, there's a sauna, too! Things to do for fun and relaxation
This is THE PLACE in St. Gallen. Lovely to just chill and have a good time. If you go to the “Mannenweier” it is free… :) There are bathrooms, showers and a food stand 😇 You have an amazing view over the city and it is the spot to spend national day or New Year’s Eve to see the fireworks 💥
Nice area to walking and do relax specially with good weather, also there is very nice view from the city
Great place to enjoy the green, the water and view of the city while listening to cow bells. A plus point in the morning we visited was a group of man training alpenhorn. Such a wonderful combination of swiss elements. In summer the water is green, still some people were swimming. Lovely shades of trees to sit under and picnic.
Ein Highlight von St. Gallen
It is a bliss to be at the drei Weieren. It is so beautiful, sharing the beauty of hills, forest and lake Rorschach. You can enjoy the nice swim in the 3 ponds, can do jogging, running or yoga. To sit under the big and tall Linden trees and watching the sunset is so beautiful. You can also spot the dear and cows at the hills in the evening.Nearby, there is a SwissBio Milk dispenser, which is always a motivation for me to enjoy the fresh air and milk too.
Nice place to jog and walk around in the morning, overlooking the beautiful city of St Gallen.
