Das WOW Erlebnis. Super Führung!
Beautiful experience and amazing details, filled with history, on every corner
The people selling tickets speak English, which is helpful when you're a tourist. Definitely worth the money to go see. The detail in the Abbey is incredible. The book's preservation is impressive. The library was really well kept. 10/10
Stunning. I highly recommend to visit the museum including the unparalleled library. (1. Stiftsbibliothek, 2. Gewölbekeller, 3. Ausstellungssaal) In 2024, tickets are 18CHF for adults and children up to 16 are for free when accompanied by adults. Enjoy the beautiful buildings, its surroundings and simultaneously get informed about the special history of the beautiful city St Gallen. From the train station, it is approximately a 10-15 min walk, just follow the signs, it’s hard to miss. Let me know if this review was helpful
Wonderful place, with a picturesque church, unique architecture that you need to experience it yourself. Lifetime experience which provides with unforgettable memories.
I love this place. It's worth every penny :) This is the second time I have come here. I love all the woodwork on the walls and handrail, and 3d and paint details in the ceiling. I also love the old Earth globe. And all of it was hand made a loooooonh time ago! There is a mummy too. You can ask to get an audio guide. Each ticket is 18 francs. You'll be asked to leave all bags and backpacks in a locker (which is free). The ticket includes other stuff. There is a bathroom. There is a gift store with some nice stuff.
Great place, library, monastery, church and all buildings are so unique that you need to experience it yourself, library and it’s climate, church and it’s size, monstery itself and surroundings- all of those makes unique place and unique experience which gives unforgettable memories.
