Beautiful. It has good prices , is pretty big and they have my favorite ground coffee Cafe Santo Domingo with good prices! Also they have the Premium one, 100% Arabica Induban Gourmet . I loved find the coffee here!

Great prices, and it's normally always well stocked. However, the turnoff are the ridiculously long lines at the cashiers. The express line 1-10 items isn't always monitored as such also.

Locals do shop here and so did we. Sometimes it good to get away from what you are used to and experience different things. Buying fresh products from locals in Bridgetown or farmer markets meant we ate fresh free from foods too!

As the name states, it's a popular supermarket which makes for an inordinately long waiting period to get to the cashier once your shopping is concluded. Also, there are periods when quite a large quantity of items such as fruit and vegetables aren't even on the shelf...at the same periid.

Popular is known for its great deals and low prices. They are always packed with people trying to get the best for their buck. Though it can be difficult finding a parking spot, it can be well worth it. Like anywhere else in Barbados, you got to go in knowing your prices for items and willing to take the time and find the best quality. All in all it is not a bad place to shop.

The prices are reasonable, however, if you're someone who doesn't like cramped spaces, Popular may not be the supermarket for you. There's always a crowd and it feels as though you can't move around relatively freely. I hate that about it.

Im accustomed to shopping in this supermarket for as long as I can remember. This evening I've had the most awful experience ever. The entire supermarket was packed with people as soon as my husband my daughter and I got to the cashier the cashier will allow us to know we can only cash 10 items as we were in the express line, now several others behind me in the line had way more items than I did. I said it doesn't make sense to cash 10 items here then to go and stand in another line the cashier left from behind the cash register and kept repeating only 10 items. I was so angry I walked out and left everything. I spent 3 hours in that supermarket, for years I have went to that supermarket and witnessed the same express line cash people with more than 10 items when the supermarket was as packed as it was. After today I don't think I want to go back. As someone that works in customer service I can tell you many times on my job I had to go beyond my job description and duties for customers and guests and I did it because I have been faced with many situations where someone went out their way for me and I can tell you it was greatly appreciated.

It's great for bargains but if you are buying less than ten items and join the queue at the express checkout, you'll find people with more than ten items in the queue. Nothing is done about it and as a disabled shopper, I find the long wait painful. I had complained to the supervisor previously but to no avail. Great disabled parking though and the guards are friendly and helpful.
