I'm a big fan of Lebanese style food. I was really delighted to find it here in Barbados and it's right around the corner from the hotel I'm staying at. We enjoyed the grilled chicken (shish taouk) and the salad (fettouche) a lot. The prices are reasonable and we ate like kings! update: 2nd visit. The beef was delicious! The food was meticulously prepared and the wait for takeout was reasonable. Only wish you offered desserts like a nice piece of baklawa. 3rd visit...I can't stay away from this place. When you walk by you can smell what's grilling and it makes me hungry! Great friendly place!

Terrible food. Bought wedges on Tuesday and they tasted horrible, burnt and seems like they were fried in OLD OIL tell me why was there liquid in my crate with wedges? Then you have the audacity to say "A1 quality from a1 supermarkets." Bull.

Great parking space available ,store layout good, location within other areas of other business enterprises, very convenient

It's a nice store, it has your vegetables and fruits and so on what a normal store would have. One thing though is about the food. When you get food there to eat, there is no tables to sit down and enjoy your food. I recommend you adding some tables with chairs for you customers to sit down.

Clean, huge supermarket, plenty options, love the bakery section, coffee bean dispenser options, went looking for paneer cheese and Greek yogurt, didn't find anything there, dairy options were limited, however they have goat milk on Wednesdays. Cashiers plentiful at the time I went so the check out process was seamless.

Where ever I go I always end up at carlton &a1 supermarket just the convenience, its cleanliness its display of meat an veg colourful, captivating an so spacious 🤗🤗👍👌😊

Prices are diffently high on some products and items

Amazing place with diverse selection. I generally visit when I need some specific things that I can't find in other places.

I find the staff at A1 carlton supermarket is more customer friendly the staff members even the cleaning team work as body of the supermarket, so I will give it a five star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A wonderful, one-stop shopping experience. Carlton is the home of "proper pork " and service. Bajan owned and operated, it has been a landmark in Black Rock for generations

Good food but twice expensive then Ali Baba because of all the extra charges for things that should be included. Because the owenr responded we did a comparison and the same meal that cost $56 at Sahara was just $30 and the competition and it tasted just as nice...

Excellent. Just a reminder, this is cash only as of March 2020, but the food is excellent. I had the hummus wrap, and my wife had the potato wrap. Highly recommend it when you're on Barbados.

Perhaps the best falafel we’ve ever had. Crisp on the outside, perfectly seasoned, topped with fresh garnish. If we lived in Barbados, we’d eat here every week. Great food and service. Order ahead as they make everything fresh to order.

I’ve been here a few times now the Food is definitely good and is fresh the lamb is always well cooked. I forgot they don’t do orders if you have a foreign number but they were still kind enough to cook my lunch before I showed up yesterday. Good place for a quick bite

Enjoyed the food and the staff was friendly. The downfall is that you only get one skewer of meat with the platters. It was also the first place that gave a $0.95 usd to $2bbd. Everywhere else has used a $1usd to $2bbd. FYI: $60BBD for the two platters

Amazing food, ordering is a little over complicated and I'm not sure why the restriction on bread but it was worth the visit and we will return.

This is more of a carry out restaurant than a formal one. They do NOT accept credit cards. So be prepared. They will take US dollars but will give back local currency in change, not US dollars. Very irritating and inconvenient. Apparently they also do not have/offer ketchup up. Which is odd when you order French Fries. The food is tasty and fresh. Everything is made to order. The restaurant itself is in a older plaza away from the main areas. Had they been more flexible or accommodating I may have given them a higher review. I doubt I will be back.

Food here tastes delicious even though they took a bit long..... Location is okay... Most likely you won't get a park near you will have to park by the beach parking area and walk the rest of the way....

Got there late and thought we would get old food and tired service. Just the opposite. I would highly recommend.

The food is simply amazing therefore it is worth all the "jumping through hoops" with them. Some things cannot be served by itself, some things cannot be on the side, some things are sold out, some things are not in the menu, cash only, order online and your order maybe be rejected, etc. Not a good business strategy nor customer-friendly. Very confusing ordering requirements. But the staff is friendly. The prices just OK, however the food is amazing!!! Tip: Make sure you do not get there after 6 pm as a lot of things are sold out. They close at 7:30 pm.

Great food, I love Arabic food because of the great exotic, vibrant and mouthwatering flavours, its really nice food. Just don't ask for a printed menu so you can order later. And also order early as the place close at 7.30pm. That's something I haven't grasped like why would a food serving place close so early

Delicious fish platter!

The experience was Excellent.I went to get some dog food and for some reason the blue from the bag had my hands all ink up. The cashier after pleasantly greeting me she offered me tissue and alcohol/sanitizer to clean my hands and wish he a good evening.I am sorry I didn't get her name .

For an unassuming neighborhood that Black Rock is, I was totally surprised by this grocery store..Seems more like a super center reminds me of the Massey in Hometown. Never purchased anything but just browsed and was impressed by the cleanliness and aisle after aisle of neatly packed goods as far as the eye can see..and there's a Royal bank ATM within.

I have been a customer at Carlton for over forty years and the service is excellent. The Staff Shelly, Keisha, Barry, Mr. Babb just to name a few a always friendly and professional and make you feel special

Spacious, relaxed shopping centre, excellent food available in the Deli. GREAT brands available in the supermarket for your daily household items, not as extensive with the International brands like Massy, but decent and somewhat better prices. Their late hours and convenient location on two major bus routes, along with adequate Taxi service available right outside, Carlton supermarket is an excellent supermarket in Barbados with a pharmacy and hair store on the same compound and ATMs from PUBLIC workers Credit Union and First Citizens Bank and RBC IT IS DIFFICULT, NOT TO FIND WHAT YOU NEED IT IS ALWAYS CLEAN WHENEVER I visit.

Large supermarket selling most things. Shopped there today 13th Nov 2022 and there were some offers on Carib beer (second pack of six half price) and frozen hams (second [cheapest] ham half price). The ham offer is while stocks last and brings the per kilo price down from 37.20 to 27.90 assuming two same weight hams are purchased.Plenty of sweet wines (if you like those - we don’t). And some things in stock that are not in Massy most of the time - lemons, large watermelons, green veg., tomatoes. Less Tesco products at the present time - did not notice any of their rice when looking for basmati. Overall a good place to shop and there is help available to get your bags to your car - please tip generously

I really like it because it has my favorite coffee Cafe Santo Domingo, with a good price. And when you go out, you can find the beautiful beach. It has good parking lot so you can go essily. And of course, I bought my really good favorite coffee.

85% great produce. I don't like to exaggerate but ill use here if there is something I need. Price is not the lowest but its not the highest either.
