Great neighborhood burger joint where you fill out an order from -- check off the boxes of whatever you want on your burger -- truly customized. The beef is excellent and the other ingredients are super fresh. It's not a big place but that makes it kind of cozy. Place your order at the counter, so casual dining. Overall, great job!

This was hands down one of the best burgers I have ever had in my life. Being able to choose from so many options I decided to build my own burger. Which was a fun experience with all the options. I also went with a garlic fry that had fresh parmesan shredded cheese on it. The first bite had my eyes nearly rolling in the back of my head! The steak butter sauce was so well seasoned. Heck everything I had on my burger was well seasoned. I felt like I ate a masterpiece. My only issue is I wish this was a chain restaurant because I want one near where I live. Overall, outstanding experience. Will definitely be back.

This place was awesome. I had the veggie burger and fries. It was absolutely delicious even without mayonnaise. You get to add things to make your burger your way and the choices are vast. They were quick too. I'm vegan and this place is impressive. I can imagine how non vegans will enjoy as there is only one vegan option. Give it a try and remember it's made your way.

I have been to Dave & Tony's (technically, I think it should be "Dave's and Tony's," but I digress) several times and have always found that, at least in West St. Louis County, it has the best burgers. Outstanding number of topping choices. My burgers have always been cooked as ordered: medium. And the fries are excellent. Crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Made to order and always hot. Prices are very reasonable, especially given the quality.

Great burgers/salads/wraps- highly recommend! Good quality hamburger and chicken sandwiches, great salads. Love the Caesar salad with grilled chicken-works great with weight watchers points. Fries are great and love the fried skinny onions. Workers are really friendly, owners are there quite often. Only complaint is it is cold in winter with doors opening.

Wonderful burgers and reasonable prices! You order at the counter, and they bring the burgers to you. Their specialty is to build your own custom burger. You fill out a small form with your choices. Great herbed fries, with a good crispness. Onion rings were also good. There is plenty of parking in a parking lot. This is a major under the radar find!

Ordered food to go 10 minutes before my lunch. Picked it up at the 15 minute mark right when they said it'd be ready. The food was cold. Had an all American burger and fries. Would've been fine if it weren't cold. No napkins included. They stapled the bag closed in hopes you wouldn't notice. Also got a milkshake. Don't recommend. It was really liquidy, no thickness. There's a reason you don't see any other reviews reference their milkshake. Its just not worth trying. Asked for a fountain drink as a replacement. Not sure why they offer other things on their menu if their burger and fries are subpar and everything else is disgusting. Get one thing right before branching out. Their chicken strips have weird breading I had to peel off.

Oh my Lord, this place is the absolute best. I've made a habit of going around STL trying out different foods and casual joints, and this is by far one of the best. Not to mention, the burgers are MASSIVE! Completely worth it for a $15 burger. And by massive, I mean I could hardly open my mouth wide enough to take a bite. Phenomenal flavors, great prices, and friendly staff. Was honestly the best tasting burger I've EVER had. P.s. their garlic fries are completely worth the price, you should definitely get them.

I've gotten your burgers before and they were wonderful tonight I got them and they were so plain no taste, there was a kid's volleyball team in there yelling and screaming throwing a ball around, the parents just watch them drinking beer... First time getting the kids chicken finger with chips, the chicken fingers had no breading, the chips had no seasoning, and on top of it all the only reason we went there was for a chocolate shake and the shake machine was broken, the cashier said it has been for months....why months? From my experience it seems like I only like the food there because of the excellent chocolate shake,therefore,everything I ordered tonight was tasteless,waste of 25 bucks.. FOR SURE

Tried this place on a whim for lunch one day. The food was absolutely amazing. I got the build your own turkey burger and the seasoned fries. So yummy. Staff was so-so. Didn't seem super clean in the dining area or the bathroom.

Great burger and salad options! I love that you can create your own! For the price, I wish it came with a side, and my husband said the burger could've been seasoned better. But my son loved his burger, and my grilled chicken on my salad was seasoned well. I would definitely eat here again!

Great place to custom a burger, chicken sandwich, or salad! As of November 2023, it costs 9.99 to build your own item, but has a lot of toppings and sauces you can choose from. They also have pretzel buns, original buns, and multi grain. The potato and tortilla chips were made in house, but I'd suggest going for the garlic herb fries in which they are covered with provel cheese on top!

I confess, I'm more of a smash burger type of guy. I love the caramelized crispy edges. These guys are old school thick burgers. But what they do, they do very well. The employees are young but very good. Their fries are good and the onion rings better. Pretty quick too. If you like big juicy burgers, you should try this burger joint.

I had the All American burger and my wife had a create your own burger. Ive never seen her finish a burger and mine was absolutelly perfect. The place was clean and the staff was very friendly. If you want a great burger at a reasonable price you should check this place out. I cant say enough good things about this place, we will be back!

This place is a gem. The onion rings are delicious and the burgers are always cooked perfectly. I love the interesting flavour combinations. We have been eating here for years and will regularly come back for more!

The place is wonderful and the staff is excellent. Was meeting g my brother for lunch and he recommended this place. Had never been there myself and neither had he. The gentleman at the counter was extremely friendly and bantered qith the family. Food was made to order and the service was quick. Highly recommend and I will always say get the pretzel bun.

First time there. The burgers were very good, cooked to the order. Although, I wish the buns were softer. Onion rings were the worst I ever had - virtually no onions, just fried bread crumbs. Still 4*.

We just moved to the area and tried Dave & Tony's for the first time today. Holy cow, its so good. I cannot express how delicious my Hawaiian Burger was. Amazing. If you haven't been yet. Go, run, now!

A great burger and always cooked perfectly to the temp ordered. The build your own burger has a ton of options - sauces, buns, toppings, etc. The homemade fries are always excellent too. I've only gotten pickup at lunch so far and it's always ready promptly by the pickup time. The place has always been clean and the staff has always been friendly. I'll definitely be back again and again.

Great food! Build your own sandwiches with bun options for every diet. Toppings were fresh and many to chose from. Onion rings were crunchy and flavorful. Has become a favorite frequent stop when we visit from Ohio.

Now THAT's a burger. Big tasty patty with an excellent bun. It was hard to finish it all. The Steakhouse Burger was creative and delicious. Many great signature burgers to choose from or build your own. The fries were fresh cuts and the garlic parm fries added a great flavor. Both fries and burger for a $10-12 range is an excellent value. I've tried St. Louis' best burgers and Dave and Tony's is top of the list.

Everything was good. Not great but good. We got the hot dogs though and maybe we should have tried the burgers. Service was friendly. Tables looked clean. I'll try it again.
