We started off with Old Fashions made by Victoria, who was our awesome server. We both chose the salmon with mashed sweet potatoes and asparagus. We shared the creme brulee. All was awesome, perfect flavored salmon, perfect presentation and perfect, tasty creme brulee!

I stand corrected. Went to dinner Saturday night at a busy time, and the service, food, pacing, and wine were all outstanding. A jewel right in the heart of Morton!! As I told our waiter, my compliments to the chef. Update: Been back twice, and it just keeps getting better. If you order the steak, you’ll probably need a take home box

This place is perfect in every way. The rhubarb sour martini is our favorite. The menu changes a lot, but the food is simply phenomenal.

We've been to Kemp 208 multiple times and each time is such a great experience. They have seasonal menus with food that is fresh and always delicious. Highly recommend. Love supporting local. Plus whoever makes the salads....omg....excellent!

Our new favorite restaurant! Beautiful location/atmosphere, fantastic food/menu, and the service was outstanding! Tori took the best care of us, and Kathy has created a romantic atmosphere with some of the best food we've had in a long time. A Central Illinois gem! Highly recommend: Drinks - Old Fashioned, Kiss, and lemon sorbet float - delicious! Dinner - Pork chop and beef tenderloin - melt in your mouth tender! We will be back soon! Suggest reservations as small place fills up fast. Homemade soups, bread and pumpkin spice butter really a must ! Salmon over mushroom barley was perfect !!!!.

5 stars all the way! We were passing through from Ohio and we’re so fortunate to find this charming place. The atmosphere is so cozy and quaint. We ordered Mahi Mahi tacos, wedge salad and ooey gooey butter cake w/ Carmel drizzle and ice cream ( I told my husband “forget manners, go ahead and lick the plate”). Our server Angel made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this delightful restaurant. What a treat!

My wife and I came here for our anniversary after seeing reviews for the place, and it exceeded all expectations. Even though we didn't have a reservation and they were fairly busy, they were able to seat us upstairs, where we had the room to ourselves. Everything from the appetizer to the dessert was prepared to perfection, and the staff ensured we had anything we needed without being overbearing. Everyone was friendly and helpful when it came to any questions we had regarding the menu. The prices were more than fair given how excellent each dish was. Can't recommend this place enough; my wife and I will certainly be returning when we come through the area again.

Highly recommend this restaurant. It is super quaint. Basically it looks like someone's house. The bathroom still has a claw foot tub in it! We met the owner as we entered. We did not have a reservation but they took care of us right away. We were brought upstairs to - basically a bedroom. It's decorated very nicely. There were four smaller tables in the room. After a few minutes we had the small room to ourselves! Our server Tory was very attentive and knew the menu well! The shrimp burratta is top notch. A perfect cook on every generous portion of shrimp, and the sauce with roasted tomatoes was amazing. We also had the salmon which had a nice mustard glaze on it. Hands down will come again. This truly is a hidden gem. In all of Peoria if you are looking for fresh quality food and to be treated like a special guest I highly recommend you go to Kemp 208!

We highly recommend Kemp 208. The food was fantastic! We ordered the Bruschetta Chicken, Jam burger and potatoes/Brussels sprouts. Everything was so flavorful and well made. We ordered to go since indoor dining is closed, but we’d love to dine in when we go next time! It’s such a cozy and romantic atmosphere.

Used to eat here at least once a month with the misses. I can't remember ever having a bad meal here. It's a relatively small menu that rotates (quarterly?). New featured cocktail monthly that is typically quite delightful. House renovated into a restaurant, but nicely decorated with a VERY friendly staff. Calendar pending, I hope to frequent Kemp again in the very near future.

What can we say. Kemp 208 is probably the best restaurant in the area. They have high-quality food and very good service. You will not be disappointed. My wife and I were there last evening and I had the salmon and she had the mahi and they were both excellent. The flavors were very good and our server was very attentive kind and cheerful.

Kelsey, our waitress, greeted us with a smile as she took our drink order. You always need a reservation while dining at this beautiful home experience. It is decorated with quaint decor. You may eat inside, which I recommend, but bring a sweater if you get cold, you may need it. The outside is nice, which reminds me of a nice courtyard with tables and umbrellas. The food is very good and has a nice menu which doesn't include any fried food. That's a rare find, but they are doing us all a favor!! Check this hidden gem tucked away among the other businesses.

We love having Kemp 208 in our town. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff are friendly. My wife and I dine here as often as we can, as the food is fantastic. The steak has been juicy, tender, and full of flavor! My wife usually gets chicken of some sort and she loves it! I’d highly recommend checking it out for dinner sometime!

Great example of great coming from bad. Original dinner destination was dashed by a staffing issue. Ended up barging in at 208 with no reservation at the beginning of the evening. No reservation no references couple of Hoosiers with money on our shoes from golfing.. nonetheless they graciously seated us and served us with a smile. Food was Big City and I can tell you is a bargain. If you follow me you know it's one of those difference between dining and eating places. Had my doubts, but another Gr8 dining experience and RECOMEND. Hats off to the folks at 208.✔

Kemp is the best restaurant in town, no question. Its always on point and consistently has great food. Love the cocktails here too! My husband and I’s favorite date night spot :)

I love Kemp 208! All of the staff and Cathy are super sweet and they genuinely care about their customers. I've been here for lunch and dinner and neither disappointed! My office always raffles off a Valentine's Dinner Date and everyone raves about how good the food and their experiences were. You should definitely check it out!

Got the jam burger and it was delicious. Upgraded the side to a summer salad which was wonderful. We dined outside which was a bit noisy.

Good is excellent, small quaint, lovely atmosphere

My wife and I went here for lunch to celebrate our 19 year wedding anniversary. She got the jam burger (minus the egg) and I got the Carbonara and added steak. It was incredible! All ingredients had to be fresh and were seasoned perfectly. The presentation was also thought out and planned instead of just thrown on a plate. We did get lucky showing up when they opened and were able to dine outside. Even the inside filled quickly, so make a reservation as I think we were the only ones that didnt. The service was also awesome; came by enough that we didnt run out of anything, but also let us enjoy our time together without smothering us. Our server also answered all our questions as it was tough to decide what to order. We love when the servers have tried everything to explain the tastes better instead of just repeating the menu (credit to the owners for attention to details). Looking forward to going back at least 2 more times as I have to try the reuben and a panini.

I had an excellent experience at Kemp's tonight. Our table was upstairs in what clearly used to be a bedroom and we had the room to ourselves. The staff was friendly and responsive, and had good recommendations on wine based on a description of what I generally like. The menu is limited but everything in it is amazing. I had the Jam Burger, which features a fried egg and bacon jam. It was prepared perfectly to medium well and was brought out quickly. We also got the bison brisket tacos and beef tenderloin, which were also excellent and presented quickly. If I had to raise any complaint, it would be that the upstairs dining area was a little stuffy but I'm pretty sensitive about temperatures, so that probably wouldn't be a problem for most. I couldn't recommend this place more and can't wait until I have an occasion to go back

We have lived in central IL our entire life and we didnt know about this hidden jewel. We wanted a different place to eat so we googled it and Kemp 208 came up. My Wife and I wanted to try something new. Wow, I am so glad we did, such cool atmosphere, awesome food, and great service. We will be going back at least once a month. If your a foodie its a MUST!

The miso and soy chicken soup is phenomenal as is the winter salad. The menu changes with the season so be advised that these dishes will not always be on the menu, but the food here is always top notch. The service is wonderful and the space is intimate.

Fantastic as usual

We were not overly impressed. She had the chicken and brussel sprouts. The chicken was a thigh and a leg from a pretty scrawny chicken. Sized more like it came from a cornish hen. It was tough and she passed on the leg. Brussel sprouts were tasty. My ribeye was average at best. I found it overpriced for what we recieved.
