Great sandwich place. The sandwich was huge and the flavor was great. The staff was friendly and the dining area was clean. Will definitely visit again.

This place is *crushing it* when it comes to subs. Amazing bread (proprietary recipe baked exclusively for Sub Arena by Hy-Vee, I've heard.) Wow. Layered meats, just the right mayo. Just say "whole #1 on white, hot" and let them work the magic. Simple process and delicious result. Tasty dill pickle included. Modest and comfortable dining area with lots of space. Easy parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Independent sandwich shop in business for approximately 40 years, so you know they are doing things right. I only regret that this was my first visit (living out of state), but I'm going to fix that.

Another stop on the Fort Madison food tour. When you want a great classic sub got to stop here. Get it hot and add the pickle for a one of a kind sandwich experience.
