Carroll, Iowa....a town of 10,000 people is so fortunate to have such a first class medical facility. I have had family members spend considerable amounts of time in other large hospitals in large cities in Iowa. To me, there is no comparison in the caring and level of comfort one receives at St Anthony's versus the larger hospitals. The overall operation of this hospital is impressive and a true gem for the community.

I was recently in the psych unit. Great staff! I am truly thankful for this hospital. Dr. Muller was the who really listened after years of issues. Every staff member I came into contact with from when I was tranfered into and then discharged from, y'all deserve a medal! Thank you for helping me out!

St. Anthony overall is good, however avoid the neurologist! No manners at all. Very rude and arrogant. Lost our records that were transferred to him even though an appointment couldn't be made until he had them. Wasted our time and didn't even do a full exam. Read his reviews from Nebraska as they are very accurate. Not sure how he ever earned a degree because he is clueless. Hope this hospital can get a better neurologist one day. Nobody deserves to be treated like they cannot ask for help and that is how he made my family member feel. Honestly surprised he hasn't been sued for malpractice! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for neurology with a doctor who is willing to help, not just trying to earn quick money for doing nothing.

Heard a nurse say "I have anxiety, I deal with it. Why can't people just get over it?". Nursing staff there is extremely rude! And they act annoyed when they have to move out of there chairs to help anyone! Too busy planning there Halloween costumes to worry about patient care!

Today, my mother in law was brought in to the E.R. and even though they were super busy they treated us with respect and compassion Tami you and your nurses are awesome

My step-father was in the Critical Care Unit where he received excellent care from the staff. I'd like to express my sincere "Thanks" to Dr. Peters for the kindness he showed to the family and to Wendy R. for her wonderful compassion to not only my step-father but to our family as well. The hospital can only be as great as the people who work there and everyone we dealt with were outstanding!

I had an ER visit and a surgical visit and all providers, from admittance to the doctor were very friendly. They explained each procedure thoroughly and made me feel very comfortable. Than you to all

My husband had a procedure done at St. Anthony' Regional Hospital his nurse was Amanda. She was a great nurse. I give her 5. Billing department gets a 1.

Cannot speak highly enough about the entire experience. Also really appreciate all of the help from the hospital social services rep. They called me one month after discharge just to see how the treatment plan was working and again @ 2 months.

I recently received some care in the mental health area. I was sent to st Anthony's. I didn't want to be there. But the staff was so kind, and helpful. And even after I discharged, they gave me a number to call if I ever needed to talk. The food was good. The staff cared. You don't get that kind of care in other places. I would 100% recommend st Anthony's.
