Updated: They are open again and are accepting customers inside Went for gelato recently. This time I went for the strawberry (dairy free) sorbetto and the pineapple blueberry sorbetto. I've upgraded this to a 5 star as these two flavors were great. I was told by someone recently that they use to sit there for hours and got to know the people working there. She did always order something and they always made her feel welcome. I'd recommend getting their stroop waffles if it's in stock ---- Previous review: There are many beautiful chocolates to be had here. If you want something with an airforce symbol on it, you can get them from here. They seem to be in packs 1 of 4 (the other are different designs). Their gelato is fine. I tried the unicorn marshmallow. It is a very inviting space. There are board games to play. It seems like a nice place to spend an afternoon. My favorite was the hazelnut chocolate made in the shape of corn.

Great little place. Has plenty of little chocolates to choose from. Then if you're not satisfied with that, they also have gelto. Which gets rotated from their daily flavors and you can get ones like red velvet, pistachio, and creme Brûlée. Then if you want some none dairy there are options for that as well. They have separate packaged European candy, like kinder and much more.

We originally went in for espressos (spoiler alert we didn’t get any) because it was so much more than that! The gelato 🤌🏼 every flavor we tried was so good! I got the lemon with cookies, cookies and cream, orange spice, and a coffee one! Every single one was a hit! Then we started on the chocolates! Man there was so many different options! Every single candy we got was a 10/10! And the gentleman working was so nice and helpful!

Truly the best European chocolates! Real ingredients. I have yet to find great European chocolates until now. I'm excited to have found this wonderful little store packed with so many selections.

Very good coffee, with a wide variety of beans available for purchase. They're brought in fresh on a weekly basis. As with many coffee shops, they also offer a selection of baked goods, such as brownies. The service has been consistently good.

Found this place through the newspaper and thought it'd be a fun a spot to take the family, even though it's a little bit of a trip for us to get there it was totally worth it! It was like walking into a magical experience! Everyone was completely impressed with the gelato, chocolates and even selection of board games they had! Even the employee was so helpful! I know we will be back!

Great selection of gourmet chocolates, teas, coffee and espresso, and Gelato in an adorable European-vibe setting! We were greeted promptly upon walking in, and helped by a young man who was so wonderful and pleasant! They treat each customer with importance, and devote the time to each customers experience (rather than the assembly line feel of other similar shops). We purchased chocolates (bon bons) to take home, Gelato for there, and some coffee! The Gelato was FANTASTIC! We enjoyed the whole experience, and the care and attention to detail by the staff! The prices are very affordable and fair for the high quality of the product! They even have specialty Dutch items like Speculoos flavored lattes, stroopwaafels, and windmill cookies!!! Wonderful experience, we will be back!!!

The best customer service I have e experienced in years. The chocalateer knew everything about his chocolates and gelato and store history. If he is not an owner his owner should give him a raise. Oh and the gelato was heavenly!

Hands down my favorite coffee shop in Omaha (and I've been to a ton)! I thoroughly enjoy the drinks I get there and the friendly service. The owner, Patty, and a couple of the employees, Harley and Luke, make the experience worth it each and every time. I would recommend the chai tea latte and to try a delicious home made sugar cookie. The shop also has several cute items for sale, sold by local small business owners. Patty is also adding something new to the store and sometimes, if you're lucky, you might walk away with a free sample of a sweet treat! I'd take the Village Grinder over Starbucks any day.

The art in this place is awesome and I think everyone should check it out- the pictures are reasonably priced and they’re literally beautiful. The chocolate is decent and the worker there today was a really nice guy. The cannoli gelato doesn’t taste anything like cannolis do (would not recommend), but the chocolate gelato was really good.

I really wanted to like this place... The woman running it was super nice and helpful. The chocolate was not good quality. Everything is way too sweet, but the crazy thing is that the dark chocolate is even sickly sweet. The iced tea tasted old and was awful and the coffee wasn't good either. It's unfortunate, but this place missed the mark on everything we got.

The decor is five stars but I cant say the same for the desserts. I ordered a pistachio and cappuccino gelato. When I saw the colors of the gelato, I was already concerned because the pistachio is very bright green which is not traditional, but I went ahead and ordered it anyway because I wanted to see what it tasted like. Having been to Italy numerous times and after spending three months in Europe last year I have eaten a lot of gelato. One of my favorite companies in Europe that makes the most amazing gelato is Amorino, but I have also had gelato from many different companies. In California, Gelato Paradiso in Laguna and Newport is fantastic. At Stam, I tasted the pistachio first, and it tasted absolutely nothing like pistachio. I don't know what flavor it was, but it definitely had no pistachio taste at all. Then I tasted the cappuccino which did have a distinct coffee taste, but there was also an after taste, and it did not taste fresh. I literally dumped most of the gelato out into the trash. I tried to get rid of most of the pistachio and just eat the cappuccino but then I gave up after a few more bites of the cappuccino and I realized the taste didn't merit the calories. I then tasted three different types of chocolate, which were not bad but not great. I wound up going back in the store because the gelato was literally the worst gelato I have ever tasted and I hate saying that because it's a cute little shop but I feel like if you're going to charge that much for gelato, it should be authentic and it should taste good and it's really very unfair to the customer. So I talked to the owner about it and she offered to give me a refund which was nice, but I told her no it wasnt necessary. Unfortunately I can't return as a customer. I hope this company changes the recipe and starts putting out authentic gelato because there is definitely a need for it in the area.

Although a chocolaterie my fiancé and I tend to return and return for the gelatos! Tried well over 10 different gelato and sorbets over the few months and have loved every single one and neither of us are much of dessert people which says a lot. We have had their chocolate a few times, personally I don’t like chocolate (I know, weird) and definitely like their filled chocolates but not my first pick for sweets… my fiancé on the other hand could demolish multiple in a minute if it wasn’t an unhealthy idea haha. Overall, definitely recommend visiting!! Great for family’s, couple, or simply someone looking for a sweet treat :)

The drinks are really well priced, and go great with the chocolates. The chocolates themselves? Delicious. The fillings all have a very light and smooth texture, but don't lack in flavor in any way. Having tasted a variety of the white, milk, and dark chocolates, I can say you won't go wrong with any of the chocolate here.

We visited Stam's the day before Thanksgiving for dessert for my birthday. It was absolutely delicious. Wonderful and helpful employees. Thank you so much for making my birthday. 🙂👍🧁

Expensive, but a wonderful treat for a special day. I love their bon-bons, they have a great variety. Cream and sea salt caramel are my favorite flavors. The coffee bar is always great, a cappuccino is my go-to. The gelato is also solid and they have great flavors that rotate. Definitely worth a stop.

Visited with my daughter and she was the proverbial kid in a candy store. Loads of premium chocolate treats and other goodies. We will definitely be back.

Excellent gelato!! So many good flavors it took my 6 year old 10 minutes to taste them all and decide! Vegan options are excellent as well. Happy friendly service even with how indecisive we were!

This place is an absolute gem! Nestled in a thicket of box stores, it stands out in quality atmosphere and goods. I loved my hot tea and Gelato and would totally go back for gifts and things. My neice liked it too!

This little chocolate/gelato shop is a perfect stop for local chocolates to give as gifts. They have the cutest little corn on the cob molds to create a chocolate corn on the cobs. I love to purchase these for out of town guests that visit Omaha. Nothing screams "Omaha" as much as these!

Stam is quiet, stylish, in the spirit of a Gemania boutique. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Although, my wife and I have different tastes they cater to us exquisitely. Oh, and the Gelatos are very good.

Wow, this place is great! I had the 2020 lemonade tea and it was incredible! Great space although it is a little small. If you need a place to work/read/study/just get out of the house this is a great place to go. There are pllenty of sweets options and the owner supports local vendors which is admirable.

Heaven in your mouth if you love chocolate!!! Voted the best of Omaha, and I agree 100%!!! I was super excited to see a coupon upon checking in for a free piece of chocolate. Too many delicious choices but the chocolate caramel truffle was divine! My friend and I ordered Butter Beers (yes I’m a HP ⚡️ fanatic) and grabbed chocolates to go. I still need to grab chocolate frogs for stocking stuffers... YES they have chocolate frogs!!!!

The barista, Luke, was super kind and helpful! He's never made me a bad drink. I would recommend going in and getting a drink here over a chain like scooters or starbucks. You can taste the higher quality and its the same price as anywhere else.

The gelato is so creamy and has so much flavor. It is worth visiting the store for not only great gifts of chocolate but treating yourself to some gelato.

Absolutely LOVE everything here! Gelato is top notch, candies are delicious, with lots to choose from. I can't give it 5 stars simply based on the fact that it's just not affordable for the average customer.
