The book borrowing period is only 7 days (you can extend it by reporting first) and borrowing library books is limited to only 2 (two) books that can be lent (damaged/lost subject to sanctions). On Sundays and public holidays, the library is closed. Especially for the month of Ramadhan, the library closes at 15.00 WIB. The Langkat Regency Regional Library is in a strategic location because it is right in the capital city of Langkat Regency, namely Stabat. As a public library, it is certainly adequate, the collections available are very diverse and cover all groups from children to adults, the facilities are also good and function well. My experience was that the last time I visited this library in early 2022, the librarian served me in a friendly manner, the process of making a membership card was easy, fast and completed immediately on the spot. However, there are relatively few library visitors, so hopefully in the future the Langkat district library can increase the literacy of the district community. Steps so that the number of users also increases.
