This is a great place to eat local fresh authentic Indonesian food.. Rita the owner has become a great friend over the years.. and she has also started funding assistance to local disadvantaged kids whose families cannot afford to send them to school. she's full of imagination and generosity which extends also to the local 🐈 community whose needs she tries to meet for some good food.. She's amazing.. also the food and drinks are very affordable.. She also offers other services for travellers and tourists.. check it out when you get there

You can get the local Indonesian food and some basic dishes and drinks (like: eggs, tea, coffee, fresh juices) here. The food is good and man it is cheap! Good place to meet new people as well. The staff is very helpful and they always smile! Normally I don't bather with giving reviews, but I loved this place! :-)

One if the nest places for getting cheap and delicious veg food in Bukit Lawang. Awesome!

Small cafe/restaurant with a charming owner. She has a menu but we just spoke with her about what we wanted & had a delicious meal with dishes & taste combinations we had never had in Indonesia. Prices were very reasonable & you can get a beer to go with your food. Only downside is that like so many places in Indonesia they allow smoking in the eating area.

I just had dinner here for the second time. Rice dish with vegetables, really tasty. There is a good selection of vegetarian dishes. I would love to come back again. Rita is very accommodating. Thanks, regards Joel

What a great local experience this is in Bukit Lawong. So grateful to the Owners who spoke great English so I could effectively communicate what I did and didn’t want. Delicious full vegan meal options for 12k!!! The local orphanage they support is also worth going for to support them too. Nice seating, open late, kind hearts equal soul and flesh nourishing food. Thank You!

Great place, I also booked accommodation with Yusuf guesthouse, same owner. Very nice and helpfull, Yusuf helped to arrange all activities and his wife cooked most of my meals. Very affordable and tasty. They also help local community in a 'Kolibri' program that helps disadvantaged children.

Local warung with many choices of food which has a lot of choices (happy with the big range of vegetables) very cheap and very tasty. Very good fruit juices too! Uou will definitely enjoy the lovely owners. Definitely a good place to go! Thank you!

I've got really bad food poisoning eating there. First time ever and I've been different places around the world. Friendly owner and super cheap food. Would not recommend unless you feel lucky
