Old Hotel but modern and futuristic design building. Comport and friendly..

This hotel is horribly overpriced. Staff does not speak English comprehensively. The hotel is old and this is clearly visible everywhere. In the more expensive rooms more modern furniture and showers are installed, but rooms do not look renovated. Noise from neighbouring rooms can be clearly heard, the fridge was dirty and halls and elevators inadequately cooled.

It is a big hotel. Clean, a bit old, but still comfortable. Friendly staff, and its location is quite strategic.

We checked in late evening as we only needed a room for the early train to the airport. The hotel was near the kreta api. This hotel has definitely seen better days. The two men serving at the reception were terribly unsuited to be the face of the hotel, sorry to say. They were not warm, not friendly nor helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. There was an unmanned coffee station in the lobby that looks like it's for guests. But you have to pay for it. What a lousy place to put the station with no staff present. At least have someone there. Not a grand hotel at all.

The location is perfect, easy to go anywhere, but you have to look on the other points, such as: 1. Deluxe Room (not recommend bcs it looks old) If you want the comfortable one choose Royal Deluxe 2. Breakfast not recommended, they open at 7am, but the food will be finish at 7.30 am, and it took so long for them to refill (and taste not so good at all) dont waste ur money to pay extra not worth it. they cant cook the rice properly too. All the food are tasteless 3. They only have room towel for you to use it in the swimming pool . They dont have extra, and its quite complicated to ask for extra towel from them.. They make it hard 4. The towels smells bad, and it has hole/torn. 5. The lift button for close and open on the 2nd lift is not working

Such a great place to stay in Medan, located right in the downtown, next to post office (but beware of the heavy traffic in front of the hotel). It's also near the Merdeka Walk, a popular place with many FnB options (Starbucks, McD, Nelayan Restaurant etc). Bedroom is super cozy & clean, breakfast menu are various & delicious, the overall ambience of the hotel is very nice. All staffs are helpful & attentive.

The location is very strategic, in the middle of the town, right next to the post office. This hotel has a very long history hence the interior design is also very much the 19th century type. The staffs here were excellent throughout my stay. Room is spacious and clean. Bed is comfy. Bathroom is OK, hot water is good.

Friendly staffs and really helpful, I’ve been stayed in only one night. The location is strategic in the middle of the medan City. The pool ok with salty water so it’s look like in the ocean. The breakfast is pretty good completely yummy

Booked a room for one night and was supposed to check in mid day. When we arrived way to early at 4am, the receptionist allowed last-minute booking at half of the room rate. Hat off for the prompt response and such a fantastic level of flexibility! Grand Inna was one of the oldest hotels in Medan. You could instantly tell from cracks all over the floor, stains on the wall, and the interior design. However, it was not worse than that. Despite the age, it did not smell dusty. AC, TV, and showered all worked well. The breakfast at the restaurant was not the best, but it was OK for the price paid. Love the salt water pool. Would definitely come again next again!

The location is quite strategic in the middle of Medan city, the rooms are clean, the hotel service is adequate, there are a few breakfast variants on the menu.

Right in the middle of the city. 7 mins walk to the Delipark mall and 5 mins walk to railway station that connects to Kuala Namu Airport so location wise very convenient. Room service for cleaning is quick but not too clean. Breakfast has a lot of varieties to choose from. Overall good stay.

I went to Medan and stayyed at this hotel. I think the place is good and strategic. But the building is already old and i think the price little bit expensive for its quality.

Based on my experience in my stay at this hotel last week, around the 19th and 20th of December 2023, honestly, this isn't a good hotel. We even paid extra to upgrade to a suite room which isn't half as good as a 3-star hotel in Malaysia. The sheets are very dirty, the shower head is all rusted and dirty, and the towels are all stained. This hotel has not been maintained properly since COVID-19, and the service was not up to par. I wouldn't suggest this hotel to anyone, bad experience. The hotel is located at the heart of the city, so people would expect it to be at least clean, location is strategic but would recommend renovating.

Comfy room and the hotel located in a very strategic place, close to almost everything from airport train station, postal office to a shopping mall.

Great place and price in the middle of the city.. the place also historical, wish they can renew the room.. the breakfast is average. But something catchy in my eyes, they provide jamu here... I never stay in the hotel which provide jamu in their breakfast...nice to stay here.. the staff also very friendly

One of the best heritage in medan. But I wonder why there were many people (guests) put their mask off indoor.

It is an aged hotel in Medan. The location is very strategic, near all famous places in the city. However, the facilities are under expectation which may be caused by it's vintage style.

One of the old-looking hotel in medan. The plus aspects for this hotel is its location which is really strategic. They use salt water in their swimming pool, low chlorine i think. For another info, you can come to swim only, if u buy the entry pass. But the room is not that good.

It's located in Medan City Center. The hotel is old, really old. My friend switched hotel because she saw something unusual in her room.

Our room was not clean, after an additional cleaning it was okay. Otherwise, the place is nice.

This hotel had 4stars rated, but feels like only 2 stars hotel. This was an old hotel, the room interior was truly old. And the important thing for the breakfast, thats why i said this is feels like 2stars hotel. If you think this will overpriced, the I agreed.

Great clean room. Staff were excellent, friendly, couldn't wait to open doors,, or help with taxi etc. Restaurant was good too, although the first night we sat in the smoking area, by accident. The waiter did point this out to us & offered us another table. We had a great time here.

Old hotel and pricey for room quality that I get. The things that the selling point of this hotel are the strategic location and the historical aspects of the building.
