One of my favorite restaurants in Feldkirch. The food is amazing! I am vegan and they have great options. Highly recommend.
Here for a business trip. Dropped in for a quick meal for 5. Excellent service, delightful food. Can’t fault the place, the people of the food! I recommend you try this restaurant!!
Taj Mahal was a great find in the heart of Feldkirch’s Altstadt! The menu has a good variety, and the food was super tasty with rich Indian flavors. I had the Coconut Vegetable Curry, which was amazing! Main dishes come with both rice and bread, which is a nice touch. Prices were fair for the quality. If you’re into Indian food, definitely worth a try!
It was the best Afghan restaurant I have ever eaten. The food is quite delicious, the menu is strong. We went after reading the reviews. It was delicious. the staff is very friendly and very friendly.
Great Taste and soulful food. Palak paneer was awesome but the chicken pakora wasn’t the best. But it is definitely a must try if you are around
The place is OK. Is a little confusing when it comes to decoration. You have this beautiful oriental touch killed by a bar that looks like a place to go for a cocktail. The starter, the bread and the desert were delicious!! The main courses were OK. One a bit too salty, the other not having much of flavors. Nothing amazing as you would expect reading 4,8rated reviews. The service was also OK but a little unorganized and nothing special really. The traditional clothes added up on the atmosphere a bit. All in all its a good place, but not amazing.
Well I gave it a 2⭐️ because this is not Indian cooking unfortunately neither authentic Afghanistan cooking 😅 and for the place well 3⭐️. Service was just so so and I didn’t find the lady neither the man was friendly who took our orders. It’s basically a fusion Afganishan, Thai because too much coconut milk that made my curry so sweet and Indian. I know, it sounds strange but trust me, I’m an Indian so I know exactly how Indian food should taste 😍 Plus, You’ll not get authentic Afghan food such as Aushak, Borani, Bolani, Kabuli but instead Indian but not authentic Indian 😅 If you’re familiar with Indian food, Palak paneer and all Indian curry they all have different colour with taste that comes along. Here all the curries looks a like and taste alike atleast for the ones we ordered: Palak Paneer, Vege Curry, Chicken Curry. See pictures. The Afghan bread was good but it gets dried up pretty quick because they do not place them in a basket and cover with damp towel to keep the bread moist. My vege curry tastes almost like a Thai curry because there were so much of coconut milk though I specifically asked for authentic spicy 🌶️ and 1 piece of broccoli and all the rest was paprika… I asked for chilli by the side and I thought I’d get authentic Afghan spicy paste but all I got was chilli powder 😅 My European friends enjoyed the meal but not me. I’ll not come again because I’d rather go to an authentic Indian restaurant for authentic cooking.
Really super tasty food. Interesting and for me new afghan dishes. The service was nice and we had a good time as a family. We definitely come again to try more.
